So my little brother Antkit was randomly telling me some of the lyrics to the Hamilton song “The Story of Tonight (Reprise,” to annoy me, because he knows I don’t like Hamilton.
Then he got to a certain part of the song, and my sister Flowerspring said, “Enter Burr.” because apparently that was when Burr came into the song.
I said, “Burr, bringing decency into conversations since… whatever year he was born.” (Since I think Burr is the only decent Hamilton character.)
Then Flowerspring, Antkit, and I were all, “What year WAS Burr born?”
So our mom got her phone, and Wikipediaed Aaron Burr.
My words when I saw the picture of Burr on that page (and I quote directly) were:
“What kind of sick lie is that????????”
he didn’t look like his actor in Hamilton, so this picture was of course very inaccurate and super incorrect.But yeah. That’s was happened 😛
