My clanniversary was on the 1st so I am making a late post to commemorate it!
I’m so absolutely honored to have been on the blog these last nine years (almost half my life!!). I know that these last two years I haven’t been nearly as active due to beginning university but please do know that I am always thinking of y’all and, while my university work continues to grow as I begin research and a very excessive amount of writing ( 😛 ), I will sincerely make an effort to be more active this semester!
My absolute favorite thing about being on the blog all these years is, while I’ve seen many BlogClanners come and go, the heart of the blog has always remained the same. I went from the youngest BlogClanner to now one of the oldest (bleh, don’t make me think of how old I am), yet it is genuinely just the same as it was when I was ten years old. It has always been a safe space for me and gave me room to grow and mature with the knowledge that I would always have friends that truly loved and cared for me. My goal as a moderator and medicine cat has always been to create that same space for younger BlogClanners and I sincerely hope that I have managed to do that, even on some small level. 🙂

Been studying Biology for three hours now, and I’m finally done with today’s goal! At least for one subject… One hour left, but now it’s home&consumer studies 😛
But the Biology part is so interesting! Right now we’re reading about bacteria and virus, different sicknesses and things like that, my favourite part!
I sometimes get a little bit side tracked, googleing more in depth than I have toWell, now I have to go back to studying… 😛

I’ve just had an interesting theory about Moonpaw from the new arc. Potential spoilers if you haven’t read it yet. I was thinking that maybe Moonpaw absorbed her sister before they were born, and that’s why her sister hangs around in her head instead of being in StarClan. And since she’s technically part of Moonpaw, that explains her saying that they’re one. If they share a body because Moonpaw was stronger and absorbed her sister before they were born, then her sister’s words make some sense.

That is how chimerism works. Chimerism is when two embryos fuse together in the womb and the resulting offspring inherits both embryos’ genes. In other words, Moonpaw is still one cat, but when she was a bunch of cells she fused with another bunch of cells and therefore looks different from most cats. The bunch of cells would not have taken the form of a full cat or even had any life at all- it is just a bunch of cells. I believe Moonpaw’s sister that speaks to her is her third sibling, who died at birth. However I also highly suspect that the bunch of cells she fused with was supposed to be the sister she was talking to as an apprentice, but the authors realized/were alerted that this didn’t make sense and wrote in a third dead sibling.
I’m not sure that’s how chimera cats work though… like the embryos fuse but they’re not rlly cats at that point? wait do unborn kittens go to starclan 😛

asdfg lol today I had some ppl come into class and tell us about how high schools gonna be, credits and GPA; AHHH I don’t wanna go!! 😛 I’m leaving my best friends bc they’re going to different places and some are in 6th/7th grade, but then I’ll become a warrior, so there’s a silver lining. But I only have one elective space due to the 4 core classes and PE and Health which are both required. Life is passing by so quickly and I reckon in 2 hours I’ll already be in college!
