I’d just like to mention… your familial line leading up to you, through several millennia, the fact that each of those people met to eventually bring you forth, and then the unprecedented creation of the internet, and then the creation of Warriors to inspire a BLOG about Warriors being made on the internet… so many stories, converging into a single point. Do you realize the infinitesimal chances of us all being here? Meeting each other, even if through written messages only? We are the product of millions of chances and stories untold, and we are all here

Oh believe me, I envy you 😭 It’s definitely thoughts like these that keep me up. Random, nonsensical things I’m not sure anyone else thinks of. It’s like the strangest things collectively roll into one big tumbleweed of a mind dump, and then collapse in on themselves, drifting away forever. And then a new wave of uncanny thoughts comes crashing in. Constantly. That’s why I write poetry, mostly late at night 😅 You’re such a good writer though, Sols! Only the best writers are thinking of their stories late at night =D

Some random Trekkies on Reddit are trying to convince me to watch Enterprise, which is the worst ST show ever ranked. My dad who is a hardcore Trekkie couldn’t even get through it. Honestly what are these people doing with their lives to have the energy to watch objectively bad TV 😛
Actually, I very much like Enterprise and don’t understand the hate behind it! 🙂 It was the first Star Trek show I ever saw. And I’m not saying it’s the best by any means; it had its flaws. But it did well in introducing many concepts of later shows, like early warp drive or transporter beams. I thought the cast were all well-rounded and likeable. We were introduced to a temporal war (which is where temporal agents were first introduced), more of the Andorians, and a lot of history on how Vulcans and humans first met! They even travel to TOS’ mirrorverse and battle Gorn! It felt more grounded and closer to our current era. It’s a shame it wasn’t renewed, as the show was really taking off towards its third and fourth seasons, but hey, that’s even more than TOS! I hope Captain Archer will return as an admiral in Strange New Worlds, as he’d be an older man by that time. This show was not BAD, in my humble opinion, by any means. And I KNOW bad TV. But I can understand if it’s not someone’s cup of tea 😊

I love being single! 🙂 Sometimes I’ll think I’m feeling somethin’ irl towards a person, and then I think to myself, besides running in fields of grass and holding hands, can I actually see myself living with this person for the rest of my life? And then, yeah. That pretty much crushes my desire to be with anyone. They probably wouldn’t be able to put up with me either. Might sound selfish but this way I don’t have to be concerned about what someone else wants to eat, or where they want to go 😄 As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found solace in being by myself I guess. Though I do see the value of marriage and appreciate when two people love each other, and I DO LOVE HANGIN OUT W MAH FRIENDS, don’t get me wrong. I ain’t a hermit
I don’t see this as selfish! It’s pretty reasonable – the prospect of spending your whole life with someone just seems very intimidating if you really think about it.
Ty Soles! Good point. Plus I don’t think it would be loving to that potential person, getting into a relationship knowing one wouldn’t be able hold it down on their end. I’m not opposed to someday getting into a relationship, but it would have to be someone very special to me to pull me out of my ideology XD That’s how I’d know they’re special. And I don’t mean special like they’re perfect, just that they make me feel like I’d be willing to give up my singleness, flaws and all, and we both share goals we wanna accomplish together.
