what kind of rp is this like a “pepper siffs at the rabbit she caught and then picks it up daintily” kinda rp or a “pepper fights the day pack. pepper loses.” kinda rp?
Um, kinda both? Normal activity could be hunting and patrolling borders, so you might run into trouble with another Pack. There might be a few battles between the two groups, but for the most part, it’ll be roleplaying about daily life within each Pack.
I was excited and rushing to post my RP, so I may not have thought everything out first… but I hope you still have fun!

Day Pack Roleplay Thread
Sunflower walked up to the Alpha den, and looked down at her pack, then rested her head on her paws, and drifted into a peaceful rest.
Nova glanced around, looking for others to start a patrol
Sunflower sighed, and walked down to Nova.
“Hey, Nova. Are you looking for something to do?” She asked, “You could come hunting with me.”
Ghost hopped into the conversation without being asked.
“Can I come too?” they asked, wagging their tail.
“Sure,” Sunflower barked, “Let’s hunt over near the border.”
Night Pack Roleplay Thread
Shadow
A cold breeze whistled into the hunters’ den. Shadow sat up with an irritated growl, blinking away the fog of sleep. Outside, dawn was spilling its feeble light over the forest. In the very center of camp, a gigantic boulder rose upwards, with ivy tangling around its base. The vines formed a curtain at the bottom that shielded the Alpha’s den.
Shadow gazed around. The patrol dog den was nestled by the entrance, opposite the Omega’s drafty den. The nursery was hidden among thick bracken, and the elders were snoring under a canopy of brambles. There was a small den close to the hunters where the oldest pups slept.
Shadow gingerly padded out into the cold winter air and decided to go on a solitary hunt.
Nebula also happened to be up early. She shouldered her way between the vines that hung over the Alpha’s den.
‘Where are you going Shadow? If you’re going to raid the Day Pack, don’t do it alone otherwise you’ll be dead before long.’
Shadow chuckled and replied, “Don’t worry, Alpha, I’m just going hunting. Although a raid on the Day Pack does sound tempting….” She smirked and glanced around. “Pepper!” she barked. “Wanna go hunting with me?”
“sure!” pepper barked happily, “where should we hunt?”
Star bounded up to them, “Can I come? Pleaseee?” She begged.
I haven’t hunted in forever! Huh… I wonder why..
Pepper
Light flitted through the gaps of the bramble wall of Pepper’s den. Pepper yawns and stretches as she walks out of her den. she pads across the clearing towards the prey pile. there wasn’t any prey on the heap. “hmm” she whispered to herself. “looks like were going hunting to day!”
(reply to Pepper)
“Let’s head for the ridge and hunt near the border,” Shadow suggested. And maybe we’ll run into a Day Pack patrol, she thought. She knew it was dangerous, but she secretly hoped that she’d have an opportunity to snarl and lunge at a couple of those lazy Golden Retrievers.
She trotted out of camp with Pepper right behind her.
as they got closer to the border Pepper heard the sound of growling dogs. “maybe we should see what’s going on.” she whispered to Shadow, “but don’t get to close we don’t want our scent to be detected.” she crouched lower and stalked closer
Shadow frowned and crept over a rise in the hills. Through a gap between two bramble bushes, she could see straight over the border to where a couple Day Pack patrol dogs were padding along the border.
It seemed as if they were arguing… one of them growled and snapped at its companions. Shadow flicked her tail at Pepper. “Come on, let’s interrogate them. They’re too close to the border for my liking…”
“ok i’m right behind you!” pepper whined excitedly staring at the arguing patrol
~Glory~
Glory lifted her head to see two black shapes bounding toward them. She stiffened and her long golden bristled. Night Pack hunters! She kicked one of her companions in the leg to shut him up and padded up to meet the strangers.
“Hello,” she growled in the calmest voice she could muster. “I am Glory, patrol dog of the Day Pack. And who are you?” She didn’t like the hard stares one of them gave her. She thought she recognized that dog as Shadow, and the other one as Pepper.
Pepper-
pepper padded up to the border confidence in every step. “I am Pepper and my companion here is shadow from the night pack. we were coming over to ask why you were getting so close to the border…. say what where you arguing about?” she said in a convincing voice.
Galaxy slept in the Omega den.
I hate my life, why do dogs hate me? she thought to herself, making a small whimpering sound. She crept to the back of the den, not wanting to talk to anyone.
Cloudy trotted out of the healers den, happening to see the Omega den first. Guess I’m gonna talk to Galaxy then! She thought nudging her with her paw, “If you were asleep, then you’re up now and there is nothing you can do about it, and if you were moping around about being the Omega and how you think your life is terrible the you are absolutely wrong, I have to one watch dogs die pretty much everyday and know that I was no help to them at all and I basically just killed a dog or 2. Watch my pack mates kill the other pack with no hint of pity, and Healers are treated pretty badly if you ask me. They make us do EVERYTHING BORING and call us weak or wimps and them come run to our paws when someone they love is injured and we look at them in full pity mode, pretty sad to be honest. The only dog who values me all of the time is Bell, my best friend who is the absolute best.” She said, regret flashing across her face as she realized that Bell want in her pack and was still in Night pack, “OK, ignore that last bit.”
She nodded, and dipped her head in respect.
She said quietly, “Is there anything you need me to do?”
“Oh, of course not, you deserve a break anyway! I was just looking for someone to talk to and you were simply the first dog I thought of.”
(Also, I meant still part of day pack sorry😅)
She nodded, but didn’t say anything.

~Glory~
Glory sniffed. “We’re just passing by,” she growled, barely twitching her muzzle to reveal a glimpse of her fangs. “And what we’re arguing about is no business of the Night Pack.”
Shadow snarled, “It is when you’re lingering by the border suspiciously. Can’t your Alpha keep her dogs together?”
Glory’s neck fur bristled at this insult of her leader, Sunflower. “How dare you!” In a rage, she lunged at the hunters and blindly began snapping and clawing at anyone she could reach.
pepper darted away from the drooling jaws of the frenzied day pack dog. she lunged at the she-dog trying to hold her down but not injure her.
~Shadow~
Shadow snarled and yanked Glory back by the scruff. She thrust the mad dog across the border and swiped a vicious blow at her face. “Get back!” she barked. “I’m telling my Alpha about this!”
“So what?” sneered Glory. “Go ahead, run on back to your precious little camp. We’re done here.” She turned and snapped an order at her companions, and they raced away into the forest.
Shadow’s chest was heaving, and she sat back, exhausted. “Come on,” she panted to Pepper. “Let’s head back home….” Her mind was spinning. How dare Glory attack her and Pepper? That dog has no sense of control, she thought bitterly.
“are you ok?” Pepper asked gingerly.
“I’m fine,” Shadow grunted. “Come on, let’s hurry back.” They raced through the forest, and soon they were rushing into camp. It was then that Shadow realized that they’d forgotten to hunt! Oh well.
“Alpha!” she barked, bounding up to her leader’s boulder. “Alpha, come quickly!”
Moon woke to the other noises of dogs waking. Her large ears caught many small sounds. Sometimes her ears picked up too much noise. With a sigh, she heaved herself up and out of her leaf and moss bed and began to clean up her messy thick fur. When she was done she bounded out of the den and almost crashed into Shadow. ” Sorry!” she yelped apologetically. (also how do you change the font thing on your words? I saw the way Frogpaw described it but I can’t figure it out. Could you help me?)
Shadow whirled around and huffed in exasperation. “Oh, it’s just you, Omega. I thought the Day Pack was attacking!” She raised her paw and nibbled at a burr caught in her pads. “Anyway, the hunters’ den is feeling drafty. Go out and fetch some twigs to patch it up.”

Moon grinned at Shadow. ” I know your usually the type to go off hunting by yourself, but could we go together?” Moon asked with a playful wag of her tail and a mischievous smile.
Star bounced up to them.
“Can I come? Please?” She said energetically, stretching her legs.
Moon glanced at Star. Then she looked over at Shadow.(Also sorry I didn’t see your latest texts about going towards the border with Pepper so my last comment was a bit outdated) “Sure!” Moon said with a heartfelt grin. That was what most dogs liked about her. She meant what she said most of the time. Moon wasn’t sure how Shadow would react to her letting Star join the patrol. I hope she is ok with that Moon thought nervously. She didn’t like when more experienced dogs snapped at her.
~Sunset~
Sunset proudly walked toward the Night pack border line. She wasn’t afraid of those cowards! Hiding in the dark! Pshhhhh. A real warrior wouldn’t be so weak. She wished that she could could just jump right over that scent line and attack with all her might. The best thing that could happen to her was if she found a Night pack patrol. She could fight the whole tribe by herself if she wanted to! But she couldn’t yet because she wasn’t told to. Grr
Star barked happily then followed Moon.
Galaxy stayed in the omega den, not wanting to interact with anyone.

Nebula trotted past the omega’s den, but stopped when she saw Galaxy inside, and drew back her ears in suspicion.
Galaxy spotted Nebula, and backed farther into the den.
