Welcome! This is the info/questions page for my RP, Heartbeat! Please reply to this comment for any questions you have to keep things organized. So, there are three worlds, which are all very young.
Lets start with Liao, the world of the living. This is where all of the characters are born, and it has three different regions. First, there is Temik in the southeast. It is a tropical region with exotic fruits and many different species. Cats from this area usually have ginger, pink, or purple pelts. They also have a strong resistance to heat. The second region, in the north, is Jas. Here it’s cold all year round, and there is very little food often available. When there is food, it consists of small fish and rodents. Cats from here have fur in white, gray, and blue. They also have a strong resistance to the cold. Lastly, there is Son to the west. This area has a temperate climate, with hot summers and cold winters. Food here is the same as in the books, berries and small animals. These cats have pelts that can be brown, calico, black, or green. They can adapt to change very easily.
The second world is Grytch, the world of the dead. This is the main RP world. Normally, there is simply a wall between the good and bad cats, the good living in a paradise, and the bad living a lava filled caves. However, if a living cat stays in this world for to long, they can fizzle into nothingness. This also happens if they are killed in Grytch. Fizzled cats go to a world called Eth, which is simply a barren world to live in until the end of time. However, sometimes cats escape from Eth. Escaped cats can’t move or interact with anything, but they can fly through walls and other cats, and they can permanently sacrifice themselves to keep a living cat from fizzling. All they have to do is touch the living cat after I say that they’ve fizzled. Sacrificed cats can never come back, even as a spirit. If you sacrifice your character, you can make a new one if you want to continue.
So, now onto the story! Due to a mysterious flare of magic, a void was opened up from Liao into the waiting area of Grytch, where dead cats wait to be sorted. A group of cats (you guys) happened to be nearby, and got sucked in. The same flare of magic knocked down the wall, and now the evil cats are terrorizing and killing the good ones. (The good cats who are killed go to Eth.) Also, the ecosystems of the paradise side and the wasteland side are clashing and dying. The goal of the living cats is to rebuild the wall, and make Grytch the peaceful resting place it once was again. Of course, this means defeating the bad cats who are in your way.
Also, I know the character sheet is long, but I need a lot of info about your characters because I don’t know what you guys are gonna do, and I might just surprise your characters, who knows!
As for rules, it’s the same as most rp’s, don’t be mean, don’t control other players or decide how much damage you do, even if it’s an NPC (non playable character), keep it appropriate, RP in character, all that stuff. Most of all, have fun and plz be patient cause this is only my second RP and I am trying out a ton of new stuff!
