A prophecy? Lightblaze thought. The blue moon. A kit. Which one? Where is Minnowfoot? Questions whirled in his mind. As Lightblaze watched the kits suckle, a feeling of uncertainty and foreboding crept over him. What will happen now?
“Lightblaze, do you want to help look for Minnowfoot in the morning? He only left yesterday, and he couldn’t have made it that far in the dark” (Note: Minnowfoot has bad nightvision)
“Sure!” Replied Lightblaze. “We’ll find him, I know it.” Inside, Lightblaze wasn’t as confident as he sounded. What could have happened to Minnowfoot? He thought. “Do you have any idea why he left?” Lightblaze asked Swiftstar. Worried, he waited for answer.
“Probably to inconvenience us since we don’t have a medicine cat anymore. Also he was very stressed about the prophecy and some great evil coming to the clans… That might have something to do with it.” Swiftstar replied.
Swiftstar glanced at the kits. Minnowfoot had said that the youngest kit in BreezeClan on the night of the blue moon, which was that night. She half-wished that the kits had never been born, they made everything so complicated. Before that night she had been sure that Florakit would answer the prophecy, but now it could have been either of the two kits. “Darkpelt, which of them was born first?” Swiftstar asked nervously
Darkpelt’s temper flared and she growled at Swiftstar. “For StarClan’s sake, how am I supposed to know, Swiftstar!” she asked.
Swiftstar sighed. She supposed she’d just have to guess. The first thing she’d do, however, would be to send out a patrol to look for Minnowfoot…
“Swiftstar, do you have any idea which one of the kits will fulfill the prophecy?” Lightblaze asked his leader. “And… what if you mentor the wrong one?” He shuddered at the thought of what might happen if the kit never knew they had powers until they used it for something the Clan wouldn’t want to think about. I kind of wish this prophecy was never there, Lightblaze thought. If we pick the wrong kit, doom is probably upon us already.
“The queens think Flowerpaw is younger, so I’ll mentor her… There’s really no way of knowing until we figure out the power or StarClan sends another message. If we pick the wrong kit… that would be really bad. We’ll have to watch over the other one too. Just in case…” Swiftstar replied, trying to sound like she knew what she was doing. For once, she was completely at a loss. This is all Minnowfoot’s fault, Swiftstar thought. Him and his prophecy….
“Okay,” Lightblaze said. “Can I be on the patrol to look for Minnowfoot?” He asked. This is Minnowfoot’s fault, all of it. This prophecy, no medicine cat, why would he do this to us? Lightblaze thought. “He’ll have something to say to us when we find him, don’t you think?” IF we find him is more like it, He thought. “Hopefully Flowerpaw is the right one,” Lightblaze said, “but maybe Minnowfoot will give us some answers.”
“Yes, hopefully Minnowfoot will know which apprentice is the right one.” Swiftstar agreed, hiding her own doubts about the prophecy.
Ebonypaw stared at them with sadness “Why would Minnowfoot run away?” she asked.
“Like Swiftstar said, to disadvantage us, as now we don’t have a medicine cat. And yes, he was also stressed about this prophecy, but I don’t really know why he just left.” Lightblaze answered. He clawed at the grass in impatience. “Swiftstar, may we go now? The sooner we start, the sooner we’ll return.”
“Yes, let’s go and find Minnowfoot!”
“No one knows. She dissapeared the night before the Blue Moon and has not returned…”
Autummstream waved her tail. “May I be on the patrol?” she asked, matter-of-factly. She took a look back and hid her own doubts. “I wish to look for a cat who the Clan owes so much.”
“But this is Minnowfoot’s fault! He ran away, so we don’t have a medicine cat.” Lightblaze protested. “And maybe we would know who the right apprentice was if he was still here.” I’m still worried, though. He thought. “What do you suppose happened to Minnowfoot, Autumnstream?”
Autummstream stared at Lightblaze. “I believe he was as pressured by the prophecy as Ebonypaw was, perhaps even more.” She signaled with her tail to the black apprentice “And Ebonypaw gave up being a medicine cat, didn’t she? Perhaps he thought that he had made everything worse.” She shot Lightblaze a cold stare “And I am not surprised.”
“Okay, okay,” Lightblaze said to Autumnstream, rolling his eyes. “Still, he could have told us before running away. Anyway, let’s go.”
“Of course” Swiftstar replied “We really need to find Minnowfoot!”
Autummstream nodded slowly and walked alongside her leader. Ebonypaw called up to them “If you find him…” the black she-cat mewed “Tell him I’m sorry.”
“Come on, Minnowfoot probably headed for the rogue border, since he wouldn’t have wanted to be caught by the other Clans.
(May I add a character? A rogue/loner one? I’ve sent her on the character creation page)
Autummstream walked just behind him, eyes looking distant. The truth: She was very worried about Minnowfoot. ‘How will we know which kit is the right one?’. She thought with anger. ‘I don’t care if Flowerkit looks younger, she cqan jsut be smaller!’. She approached Lightblaze and mewed softly “Do you think we made the right choice?”
Lightblaze touched his tail-tip to Autumnstream in a gesture of reassurance. “We’ll find out soon enough.”
“Alright, but we’ll have to be careful. The rouges won’t want us on their territory. We’ll have to use the foliage to our advantage.” Lightblaze said, padding toward the rouge border behind his leader.
(Hi I think something happened and I wasn’t able to post. I sent another character on the character creation page, a loner named Snow may she appear?)
“No, they won’t.” Autummstream admitted. She scanned the place and padded closer to Lightblaze. “Perhaps a rogue might help us.” She suggested.
“Maybe,” Lightblaze admitted. “But still, you never know.” He knew though, that Autumnstream was probably right.
“That is correct,” Swiftstar agreed ”
“We’ll sneak through and see if we can find Minnowfoot. There are only 3 of us, and I don’t think the rogues patrol, so we may be able to go through undetected.”
Suddenly a young white she-cat blocked tehir way. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously “Who are you? What are you doing here?”
“We come from BreezeClan in peace!” Autummstream mewed quickly.
“What’s BreezeClan?” the she-cat asked, unseathing her claws. Autummstream looked at Swiftstar and Lightblaze pleadingly. ‘I can’t explain this at all!’ she thought tiredly.
*explains BreezeClan and Clans* “And so, we are looking for our medicine cat. A dark tabby tom, smells kind of like us and also herbs.” Swiftstar explained. Swiftstar narrowed her eyes at the little cat. “Don’t try to attack us, you’re barely more than a kit and there are 3 of us here.” Swiftstar clarified, hoping the little cat didn’t want to hurt them.
“What’s going on here?” Darkpelt (Flowerkit and Goldkit’s mother) snapped.
“Huh! Darkpelt? Where did you come from? Don’t you have to take care of the kits?” Swiftstar responded.
“HA. I noticed you all sneaking off and I followed you here!!” Darkpelt responded, with no respect for the leader. (note: Darkpelt is severely annoying and rude, and probably the wrong person to parent prophecy kits…)
The she-cat twitched her ears impatiently. “Whatever quarrels you might have with this grumpy she-cat, yes, I’ve seen a dark tabby. Smelled of leaves and I suppose you’re looking for him?” She didn’t wait for them to reply. “He isn’t far away but he’s been hiding…And stealing prey. Perhaps you’ll free me of him.” But the young she-cat had another plans. ‘BreezeClan…’ She thought. “I’m Snow.” Snow introduced herself, padding quickly “And if you want to find your tabby, you better follow me.”
“All right” Swiftstar agreed, glancing back at Autumnstream and Lightblaze. “This might be a trap, but we really need to find Minnowfoot. Darkpelt, you go back and warn the cats at camp in case they need to rescue us”
“HA” Darkpelt said and turned around, vanishing into the undergrowth.
“Where to, Snow?” Swiftstar asked
“His scent leads to there.” Snow signaled her tail and glanced back “I’m perfectly aware of your suspicions. Do not judge a cat by the place they were born. Just because I don’t hunt in groups, doesn’t mean I’m fox-hearted.” She padded on before anyone could reply, chest high like she had said what she wanted to. Soon, she stopped. “Mouse-dung!” She whispered. “He went a way…And then went another. C’mon!” She dashed on the scent trail. Autummstream struggled to follow her. “She may be a rogue, but she’s very fast!”
“Where are we going?!?!?” Swifstar called as they sprinted after Snow.
“To the lake!” She replied over her shoulder. Finally, she dived into the water before anyone could protest. Autummstream wanted to call for the little she-cat’s name. But when Snow appeared, her eyes were full of wonder “Did you see it too?” She mewed. “The cat with stars on their fur?”
“What?!? No. Was it Minnowfoot? Is- is Minnowfoot dead?” Swiftstar asked. If Minnowfoot really was dead, it meant they might never find out who was the right kit in the prophecy. And even more worrying for the present, they wouldn’t have a medicine cat to defend them during the cold winds of leafbare.
“I don’t think so.” She answered after a moment. “It was a pretty gray she-cat. And there was a black tom. But both sparkled on stars.” She dived back to the water, and when she appeared she carried a golden flower. “They gave me this.” She mumbled. “They told me it was ‘the answer’.” She looked at Autummstream’s chocked face. “I suppose you know what the answer is for?”
Autummstream pressed her pelt closer to Lightblaze’s, chock obvious on her face. “It must be Flowerkit!” She meowed “Why else would StarClan give her a flower?” (Because it was golden!)
But before they could reply, a fierce yowl echoed, and they found a light ginger apprentice staring at them. “Mouse-hearts!” Oceanpaw called “You better have a good reason to be in SandClan territory!” Autummstream took a long, calming breath, but Snow had already positioned herself to fight. “Has a loner joined your Clan?” Oceanpaw asked in surprise. “Dunepaw! Hollydew!” She called “We have trepassers!”
Snow let out a surprise gasp. Why hadn’t she smelled the scents of different, salty cats? But it WAS SandClan territory, she had no doubts. “Now fight.”
Lightblaze pressed closer to Autumnstream. He wasn’t looking forward to the fight, but at least they found the answer to the prophecy! Suddenly, a black-and-white cat jumped at him, scoring his claws across Lightblaze’s flank. The fight had begun.
Autummstream jumped at the black-and-white cat without hesitation – no one would hurt Lightblaze! She unseathed her claws and shook the tom off her friend, craving her teeth into his shoulder. She wouldn’t hurt anyone unless she had to, but this was beyond explanation. Oceanpaw jumped to take her off the cat, but Autummstream wasn’t ready. The light ginger apprentice fought with all her strenght, anger burning on her eyes. She pinned Autummstream on the ground. “How dare you trepass!” Oceanpaw hissed. “SandClan had no quarrels with you!” “We didn’t realize-” Autummstream started, but before she could finish Oceanpaw scratched her belly with her claws, thankfully not hard enough to kill a cat. Autummstream felt her consciense slowly slip away.
Snow didn’t seem to be slowed down, only kept on fighting. She pushed Oceanpaw off and attacked Dunepaw. Then she threw herself back. ‘This is hopeless!’ She thought.
“We should go back!” Snow called. “This she-cat is badly hurt” She pointed to Autummstream “And she’s not the only one! Come on!”
“Will you run like pathetic kittypets?” Oceanpaw hissed, pinning Snow down. “Or perhaps you ARE a kittypet!”
“Get your salty paws off me!” Snow snapped, slashing Oceanpaw at the shoulder. The sand colored she-cat let out a shriek of pain, then reluctantly gave the white cat space. “Stay on your side of the border next time, mange-pelts!” Then her eyes lit on flames. “ATTACK!” She called, throwing herself at Swiftstar. “Just when I thought I’d seen all mouse-brained things!” Snow exclaimed, launching herslef into battle.
Lightblaze leaped into action. After fending a ginger tom off of Swifstar, he rushed to slice his claws at a black she-cat’s ear, who was sneaking up on Autumnstream. “Look out, Autumnstream!” He shouted as he did his best to pin down the warrior. The black SandClan cat was strong and pushed up, managing to scratch Lightblaze and then pin him down. This warrior was very powerful, and when he tried to push up, the she-cat only pushed down harder.
Autummstream raised her head and forced herself to get up. ‘The fighting is still on!’ She thought with anger. She approached soundless the she-cat who fought with Lightblaze and then scratched her shoulder. She jumped at the black cat, fending her off. Then she launched into battle again.
Meanwhile, Snow still fought with Oceanpaw, who seemed more tired. Autummstream shouted “This battle has to STOP!” To which Oceanpaw retorted “It wouldn’t exist at all if you hadn’t crossed our border!”
“Don’t you care at all with your Clanmates health?” Autummstream challenged. Oceanpaw looked at Hollydew and mumbled. “Should we stop?”
Swiftstar hissed in rage, clawing Dunepaw ferociously. Dunepaw yowled in pain. “OCEANPAW!! WE HAVE TO GO BACK!!!” “You very well should.” Swiftstar informed him, throwing the small cat into the dunes. “Lighblaze, Autumnstream, Snow, are you all alright?” she called.
Oceanpaw looked at Dunepaw in terror for a moment, then took him by her shoulder and ran away with the rest of the patrol.
“Yes!” Answered Snow in the same time as Autummstream said “No!”. Snow turned to Autummstream with worry and admited. “Yeah, you’re not good.” Then she looked at Swiftstar and Lightblaze. “Well, neither are you. Come on! Let’s go back!” She was about to run, but then she remembered she was not alone. Snow carried Swiftstar and asked Lightblaze to carry Autummstream. “They’re both hurt worse than us.” She told golden tom. She kept on carrying the leader without looking back, while Autummstream mumbled some instructions. Finally, Snow lay Swiftstar on the soft ground downstream. She licked the wounds clear and quickly put some marigold on it. “I-I guess it works for wounds?” She suggested with hesitation. “I’ll go find something for you to eat.” Snow added. “I’ll be back in no time.”
“Autumnstream is hurt badly, I think, but I’m okay except for a scratch here and there.” Lightblaze said, shooting a worried look at Autumnstream. “Snow, are you okay?”
“I’m not on my best, but not on my worse.” She replied after a moment. “I’ll be fine, you know. No need to fuss about me like I’m a stillborn kit.”
Autummstream coughed, opening her eyes. “Much better!” She exclaimed. “Swiftstar?”
“I’m alright mostly. We should go back to camp now that we have what we came for. Ebonypaw might remember how to treat these wounds.” Swiftstar hesitated for a second before turning to Snow “Thank you for helping us. Do you want to come back with us to BreezeClan? ” (If Snow does come back as an apprentice, who will mentor Snow?)
“Hello, everyone is back now.” Darkpelt said out of nowhere. “Why were you in SandClan territory? Are we raiding SandClan? CAN WE RAID SANDCLAN” Darkpelt had arrived with a bunch of other BreezeClan cats.
“Wha- NO. We just stumbled here looking for Minnowfoot- oh wait we forgot to look for him, nevermind we have the sign.” Swiftstar mumbled.
(Anyone you want ^^)
Snow stopped for a moment and looked at her. “Yes.” She answered after all. “Do you trust me?” She hoped she did. It had been so long after anyone had trusted her…
“Yes. You have helped our Clan. and we would be happy to have you become an apprentice” Swiftstar said, smiling (or what cats do to smile?)
‘Woah woah woah, who is this random cat you are accepting into BreezeClan?” Darkpelt asked.
Swiftstar sighed “It’s a long story. But we do know now that Flowerkit is DEFINITELY the kit from the prophecy.
(they purr)
(Sorry, I’m kinda late. Had to go somewhere) Lightblaze clasped Autumnstream’s scruff in his jaws and carefully heaved her away, following Snow.
Snow felt her chest warm. She was being accepted!
“Thank you!” She told Swiftstar with a purr.
“Hold on!” Ebonypaw meowed. “Before you have ANY ceremonies, I need to treat your wounds. No protesting or it will be worse.”
“Alright,” Swiftstar agreed “We don’t want anyone becoming more sick.”
Ebonypaw twitched ehr whiskers in amusement and began her work. She forced her mind into memories of Minnowfoot, hoping they’d tell her anything used…And they did. ‘Marigold for infection, cobwebs for bleeding, poppy seeds for pain.’ She remembered. And she did as he had told her. “No need to see me-” Snow started, but Ebonypaw shot her a cold stare. “Don’t try to fool me. You’re not well.” Snow closed her mouth and reluctantly let Ebonypaw treat her. “That’s…That’s much better.” Snow admitted. “That’s what a medicine cat is for-” Ebonypaw stopped, remembering she was no longer a medicine cat. She missed everything that her apprenticeship had brought her, but…Could she ever face the prophecy again? But then, Swiftstar had told her she had discouvered which kit was the prophecy kit…Perhaps she could try again. She took a deep breath.
Meanwhile, Autummstream had been treated. “You fought well.” She meowed to Lightblaze. “I was glad to have you by my side.”
“Thank you. I’m sure you wouldn’t have stood a chance without me!” Lightblaze purred, happy they had won the fight.
Autummstream purred back.

“Bluekit!” Rosekit called excitedly. “Soon we’ll become apprentices!” She jumped at the other she’kit. “It won’t be long now! We’re ALMOST six moons old!!” She pushed closer to the kits. “Who do you think Silverstar will chose as mentors?” Rosekit asked.
~BreezeClan~
“You are ready to the ceremony.” Ebonypaw told the cats. “Swiftstar, it’s time for you to make Goldkit and Flowerkit apprentices. Snow as well.” She glanced at the kits. “Go on.”
Swiftstar leaped onto Highrock and yowled for everyone to gather.
“Flowerkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Flowerpaw. I will. I hope I will pass down all I know on to you.
“Goldkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Goldpaw. Your mentor will be Autumnstream. I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you.”
“Snow, you have have proved yourself a worth member of this Clan and helped us and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Snowpaw. Your mentor will be Lightblaze. I hope he will pass down all he knows on to you.”
Swiftstar finished.
“Snowpaw! Goldpaw! Flowerpaw!” Lightblaze chanted along with the other warriors. He was ecstatic that he had his first apprentice. When the chanting finally broke up, Lightblaze walked over to Snowpaw. “Before we start training,” He said to the white apprentice, “We’ll go on a tour of the territory.” He turned to where Autumnstream and Goldpaw were talking. “Are you taking Goldpaw on a tour?”
“Yes!” Autummstream answered quickly. She choked a purr. “Come on, Goldpaw.” She called her apprentice. “We’re going on a tour with Snowpaw and Lightblaze.”
Snowpaw felt warmth and excitment and could barely stand on her feet. ‘I’m an apprentice!!’ She thought. “So, were do we go first?” Snowpaw asked Lightblaze.
(The roleplay is set in the old forest territories, before they moved to the lake, or you can just make up landmarks 🙂
“YAY!! Let’s go!” Goldpaw said excitedly.
“We’re starting at the meadow. Then we’ll go to the place closest to it, and so on.” Lightblaze said over his shoulder to the white apprentice as he started to pad away. “C’mon! Don’t you want to train after this?”
Goldpaw bounced around excitedly. “Is that going to be our first lesson!! I’M SO EXCITED!!” Goldpaw asked Autumnstream eagerly.
Meanwhile, Swiftstar was talking to Flowerpaw, who seemed bored. “We will start by exploring the territory.” Swiftstar explained. “We have to walk?” the apprentice asked, looking dissapointed. Swiftstar sighed. If she had to put up with Flowerpaw to save her Clan, she supposed she’d have to do it.
Lightblaze gave Swiftstar an amused look. “She’ll grow out of it,” He said.
“I hope she does,” Swiftstar agreed “I still can’t imagine how Flowerpaw of all cats is going to save BreezeClan.”
Goldpaw looked at all the warriors talking. “Are we going to go now????” she chirped happily.
Oh, that’s my job, can someone tell me who the cats in Streamclan are?
Autummstream purred. “Seems like I’ve got the best part of the deal!” She started walking and showing the territories. Snowpaw tried to save every little detail.
Goldpaw looked at the stream in awe. “Is that the StreamClan border? “
“Yes, it is,” Lightblaze answered. Then he turned to Snowpaw. “We have one more place to show you, then we can train.” Lightblaze said. He turned and started to walk toward a cream-colored wall, sharp, unnatural points and lines showing behind it. Clear, green, and small meadows were set inside the walls, and a flash of silver fur which was a kittypet darted past on a nearby fence. “Twolegplace.”
Goldpaw stared up at the weird shaped twoleg dens.
Snowpaw nodded, but trembling inside. She had seen this before…Snowpaw backed away.
“Aren’t they weird? Who’d want to live in those things.” Goldpaw wondered out loud.
“Twolegs apparently. Maybe we should head back to camp now?” Swiftstar suggested.
“Okay!” Goldpaw replied bounding off in some random direction.
“WAIT THAT”S NOT CAMP” Swiftstar yelled. Goldpaw was heading right for the border!
“GOLDPAW!!” Autummstream immediately yelled. “STOP!!!!” Snowpaw dashed after the apprentice and pushed her heart-beats before the cat had reached the border. Autummstream let out an exasperated sigh. “You were STEPS away from starting a battle.” She told her apprentice. “Unless you have good reasons to suspect a warrior, when they tell you to stop, STOP.” Then she waved her tail. “The camp is that way. Memorize it.” She turned to Lightblaze and purred. “It seems like yesterday you were Lightpaw!”
Meanwhile, Snowpaw stared at the dens in pure terror. Memories kept invading her head. “Bramble…” She whispered.
Lightblaze raced past Goldpaw. “GOLDPAW! STOP!” He shouted. She skidded to a stop. “That’s the StreamClan border! DO NOT cross it, okay?”
“O-okay” Goldpaw said, looking a bit shaken. “I’ll remember that”
Flowerpaw and Swiftstar ran to catch up with the cats. “NEVER cross the border, okay? It’s dangerous” Swiftstar scolded Goldpaw.
Snowpaw still stood frozen staring at the dens. Autummstream looked at her oddly. “Snowpaw? Come.” The white she-cat didn’t seem to hear her. Autummstream sighed. “Lightblaze, your apprentice looks like she wants to become a Twoleg. She won’t stop staring.”
“Are you okay Snowpaw?” Goldpaw asked.
“Snowpaw! C’mon! Is something wrong?” Lightblaze asked, moving closer to Snowpaw. He could see fear and worry in her eyes. The golden tom nudged her gently with his nose, but her eyes were glazed over as though she was in shock. But the white she-cat wouldn’t move.
“I’m sorry!” Snowpaw woke. “Let’s go…” With a last glance to the Twolegplace, she dashed off to the camp.
Still confused, Lightblaze exchanged glances with Swiftstar and Autumnstream before padding after Snowpaw. I wonder what happened to her… He thought.
(I won’t be here for all of August, so anyone can control Swifstar, Goldpaw, Flowerpaw and Darkpelt till then)
Goldpaw examined the way back to camp closely, determined never to go the wrong way again.
Snowpaw waited for the cats on the camp, whispering. “I’ll NEVER go in there, I’ll never go in there…” She sighed. Would Lightblaze realize what was happening? ‘I’ll have to be VERY careful.’ She thought. Her white paws suddenly reminded her of Wind, and the Twolegplace…Had been the last time she’d seen her.
Lightblaze padded up to Snowpaw. “You okay?” He asked. “I’m your mentor. You can confess anything to me.”
Lightblaze said. He put his tail over Snowpaw’s shoulders.
(Also I can control Swiftstar and the other cats if Skypaw doesn’t want to)
(Okay ;D)
“I- Yeah.” Snowpaw looked away. “I’ve just…Been there before, so, uh…” ‘I lost my mother there!’ she stopped herself from telling him. “So, yeah…Oh, hey, look, Autummstream!”
Autummstream shifted her paws uncomfortably, as if she was interrupting something important. “Sorry.” She apologized. “I was just wondering if you…Lightblaze…” She forced the words out. “Wanted to go night hunting with me?”
“Sure, of course!” Lightblaze said, padding up to Autumnstream. “Is there a reason?”
“Uh, another then wanting your company?” Autummstream asked. “Let me see…No.” She purred and started walking. Her paws took her along the pretty forest, moonlight painting their pelts silver. She had to fight the urge of muzzling his shoulder. “So…” Autummstream meowed, searching for an awkwardless subject. “How’s Snowpaw?”
Lightblaze pressed closer to Autumnstream. “She’s fine right now.” He breathed into her ear. “But what do you think happened to her at the Twolegplace?” Lightblaze asked, sitting down next to Autumnstream in a moonlit clearing to watch the stars.
Autummstream thought for moment. “She seemed so scared…Something bad must have happened to her there. Did she tell you anything?”
“She, she told me that she been there before. I think she was on the verge of telling me something else but she stopped herself.” Lightblaze said. “I’m worried about Snowpaw. We have to make her tell us the entire story, so we can help her.”
“Perhaps she thinks if she talks about her life as a rogue, she’ll seem disloyal.” Autummstream suggested. “You’re her mentor. Take her somewhere away and ask her kindly. Promise not to tell anyone if she asks you to. “ She told him. “That’s a way to work with trauma.” Then she touched her tail tip to his shoulder. “Being worried is a sign you’re a great mentor.”
“Of course. I’ll take her out of camp tommorow and ask her. Perhaps she’ll tell me something we can use to help her.” Lightblaze said. “If some cat there hurt her…” He stood up and lashed his tail. “I’ll rip their ears off!” Lightblaze sat back down and looked at Autumnstream. He buried his muzzle in her fur. “How’s Goldpaw? She seems very excited.
“She is!” Autummstream purred, glad to talk about something positive. “She seems very eager to learn. My only concern is…” She took a deep breath. “If she discovers about Flowerpaw, I’m afraid she’ll be jealous. I’ll be the best mentor I can be, but that’s not everything she needs. She needs to know she’s just as important…” She licked his ear quickly and then looked away. “Do you think she knows?”
“I don’t think so. She seems so positive… but maybe it’s an act to hide her real feelings…” Lightblaze said, then quickly added, “Or not,” He twined his tail with Autumnstream’s. “But her positivity is so feels very genuine.” He said. “Even if she does know, we’d have to tell her sooner or later.”
Lightblaze purred unexpectedly. “I-I really being together, like this.”
Autummstream stared at him for a moment. “Me too…”
Snowpaw closed her eyes. ‘No, not now!’ She hoped her visit to the Twolegplace wouldn’t hunt her dreams, but…That was too much to ask.
“We’re close now.” A brown tabby told her. “I promise.”
“We trust you.” Another tabby, a she-cat, guaranteed him. ‘Of course we trust him!’ Snow had thought. ‘He’s our father!’
And yes. Hawk, her father, and Bramble, her sister. There was a white pelt on her front. It belonged to a sleek, gracious white she-cat with gray eyes. ‘Wind.’ Snow thought. ‘My mother.’ But suddenly Wind jumped on Snow’s front and the pelt covered Wind. It was transparent, but she couldn’t move. “Mother!” Snow called. But Bramble pushed her into moving. “They’re not done!” She snapped on the run. Snow followed her.
They kept the rhythmic for some time, but the Twolegs were in front of them. Hawk growled. “Go!” He told Snow. “Wind sacrificed herself for your safety! Make it worth it!” It had all happened so fast…Should she have stayed? Maybe. But no changing the past. Only too late she realized Bramble was no longer with her…And that she was completely lost.
“Are you looking for someone?” A cat appeared from the bushes at Snow’s desperate calling. “Yes! I’m looking for a brown tabby!” She answered eagerly. “Come on, then.” The cat answered. “I know of a place she might be at.” “Can I trust you?” Snow questioned.
The cat twitched their whiskers. “Of course you can.”
Fake. Lies.
She shouldn’t have trusted him. All about him…The warmth. The sweet tone. It. Was. All. Fake.
‘I can’t tell anyone!’ She promised herself. ‘What a fool I’ve been!’
Back at camp, Lightblaze walked up to Snowpaw. “Come here Snowpaw. I know you’re worried about something. Follow me.”
Lightblaze walked through the forest for a little and settled down in a clearing. “Okay, Snowpaw. You don’t have to, and I swear on StarClan I won’t tell anyone, but to help you, can you tell me what you’re so worried about?”
Snowpaw hesitated. But something told her she could trust him.
“Okay.” She started. “When I was younger, me and my family got lost on the Twolegplace. We got lost from each other.” She decided not to tell him about her mother. “Then there was a cat who basically almost got me killed. But I survived, so yeah.” Snowpaw looked away. “It…Might have given me some…Skills?” She added reluctantly.
“Tell me about this cat. And thank you for telling me about this. I swear I won’t tell any cat.” Lightblaze coaxed.
Snowpaw looked away. “The cat had…Well…He had ginger fur and…I don’t remember the eye color, perhaps green, dunno. Or amber…” She looked away. “He was pretty. Outside.”
“What did he do to you?” Lightblaze said. ‘What could that stupid cat do to hurt Snowpaw?’ He thought.
Snowpaw forced her fur to lie flat. ‘That’s my mentor.’ She told herself.
“He lead me to the Twoleg dogs.” She answered after a moment. “One of them was dark brown, and I thought it was Bramble – my sister.” Snowpaw looked away. “I was foolish to think that, but he was so soothing. He told me it was. He could convince me a mouse was a tiger if someone heard him…”
“Okay… Thanks for telling me this. Maybe we should go to Twolegplace to find this cat?” Lightblaze said as they walked back to camp. “Maybe we can find more about him. It might finally put your worries to rest.”
“No need!” Snowpaw answered quickly. “I shouldn’t have trusted him, but I’m not scared, I’m just…” She looked away. “Hurt. Angry. Regretting. And kind of hoping to claw his ears off.” She sighed. “Don’t worry about me…”
Meanwhile Goldpaw and flower paw were discussing meaningless stuff and Swiftstar was worrying. Flower paw was just another generic apprentice and showed no extra potential or powers. If they didn’t develop… was StarClan lying to them?
“Hello, Swiftstar. ”
Violetmelt mewed, She had spent a lot of time in the medicine den recovering from a bad case of white-cough “Thanks for covering my duties this past moon, How is Flowerpaw
“Hello! Flower paw is fine. She isn’t showing any signs of being special though……”
Ebonypaw rose to her paws. ‘The Clan has stayed helpless for enough time!’ She thought. ‘I was selfish to step down because of fear, and I mustn’t- EVER – leave my Clan again.’ She lifted her chin proudly. ‘I’m a medicine cat with all my heart.’
“Swiftstar!” Ebonypaw called. “I- I need to be a medicine cat again!” She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry I stepped down, it’s just – the prophecy, it was so scary, I-I just didn’t want to mess it up.” Sje rose her chin. “I AM a medicine cat with all my heart. I was never born for the life of a warrior. Please let me become a medicine cat again.” She pleaded.
“Of course you can be a medicine cat again. Maybe one of the other medicine cats could train you.. we need a med since minnowfoot seems to have left Forever” swiftstar said
“Thank you, thank you!!!” She exclaimed.
Hello, has anything happened involving Streamclan of any part of the role-play from Streamclan’s point of view, I am leader of that clan so I need to know.
Well, some weeks ago I sent Rosekit starting a dialogue with Bluekit, with the sign “~StreamClan~” to identify the Clans. Maybe you could do that too? (Rosekit is my only character in StreamClan but there are other characters there too)
Oh yeah… I’ll make a streamclan camp, here blogclan.katecary.co.uk/snowy
“We should start the vigil.”, Ebonypaw sighed.
Snowpaw shifted uncomfortably on her paws.
Autummstream touched her tail to Lightblaze’s shoulder.
(The plot seems to have slowed down… I shall fix this…)
Suddenly Sleetpaw and Windstrike burst into camp, panting. “WOODCLAN IS ATTACKING US!!!!” Sleetpaw yowled, just as cats began pouring into the camp
(lol it’s true)
Ebonypaw rose to her paws in a halt. “WHAT?!”
Autummstream had already padded over to the heart of the camp. “Warriors of BreezeClan!”, she called, “WoodClan is attacking! Get ready to fight! Guard the camp! A swift cat shall go find Snowpaw and Lightblaze, they’re in the middle of that StarClan foresaken forest!”. She worried over wether the cats would be fine. She looked at the cats, searching for wounds. ‘What will Ebonypaw do?! She has to do something!’
Snowpaw had already heard the sound of battle. It was a sound she’d known for long, long time, but now it was louder. And fiercer. Sharp scents she had never smelled came flooded throught her nose, and she gasped only for a moment before tensing her muscles. “Attack!”, she whispered to her mentor.
It only took Lightblaze a second to realize what was going on. The stench of WoodClan wafted toward him, mixed with blood and fear. He gave a nod to Snowpaw, beckoning the apprentice with his tail before racing off. Soon they reached the camp. Lightblaze flung himself into the battle, followed closely by Snowpaw. He swung to confront a tabby tom and raked his claws down the tom’s side before pinning him and raking his belly until he begged for mercy. Lightblaze clawed and bit and attacked. Suddenly a salty scent invaded his nose.
~SandClan~
Wolfstar rushed into the BreezeClan camp, his Clanmates hard on his paws. “We shall have our revenge!” He yowled.
~BreezeClan~
StarClan-cursed SandClan! Lightblaze thought. Now the salt-smelling excuse for a Clan was attacking them too!
I’m trying to make a Great Battle from Eclipse-like situation. Which means BreezeClan will have to ask StreamClan for help. Is that okay?
(Yes)
“Argh!! Goldpaw, Snowpaw, go to steamclan camp and ask for help.” Swiftstar ordered. She gazed down at Flowerpaw. Now would be a really good time for her to discover her power..
Snowpaw nodded. “Come on, Goldpaw!”, she called.
Oceanpaw yowled, looking fro Swiftstar. “Now is the time you will pay for hurting Dunepaw!”, she declared.
Ebonypaw padded to the medicine cat den and got everything she needed. ‘I’ll be needed.’
Autummstream gasped as Lightblaze attacked the tabby tom. “You’re alive!”, she meowed. The shock and relief lasted a moment before she crouched behind the tabby. She waved her tail to call Lightblaze’s attention, hoping he’d understand. ‘It’s like catching a hare.’
Violtmelt leaped clawing a Woodclan tom’s face in the heat of the battle ‘hopefully Streamclan arrive for backup soon we are drastically outnumbered’ she thought
Swiftstar clawed a bunch of random cats. Fresh patrols of WOODCLAN and sandclan (idk about the capitals) waited at the edge of camp, but BreezClan couldn’t spare any warriors.
Ebonypaw slipped before mumbling: “This is useless! Why would they attack us?!”
Oceanpaw jerked as Swiftstar clawed her face. “Mouse-hearted excuse for a leader!”, she cursed.
‘How dare she?’ Ebonypaw thought. She leaped into Oceanpaw, determiend to protect her leader. She wasn’t the best fighter – she didn’t feel she even had control over her claws – but Swiftstar was the wisest leader any cat could have.
Oceanpaw slashed Ebonypaw’s belly, missing for a mouse-tail. ‘Oceanpaw is fierce and strong!’ Ebonypaw thought. ‘I could have been killed!’
The black she-cat scratched Oceanpaw’s face, leaving a surprise emotion for both of them.
‘Quick, Lightblaze, quick!’ Autummstream thought. ‘See me! Attack him!’
Lightblaze looked at Autumnstream. Giving her a very slight nod, he attacked the tabby, using the element of surprise to tear his claws down the tom’s flank and tear his ear. Lightblaze got a few scratches himself, but he managed to drive the tabby back towards Autumnstream where he stopped attacking the tabby to confuse the enemy further. While the tabby was balking at him, he swished his tail and nodded to Autumnstream, signaling for her to make the next move.
Swiftstar clawed Oceanpaw’s muzzle fiercely, “Ebonypaw, we need you to go heal cats” she yowled. Especially if they didn’t get help soon…
Autummstream leaped into the tabby from behind, clawing his back fiercely and biting his ear. She clawed his fur and hissed fiercely until it finally fell to the ground. She looked at Lightblaze. “We make a good team.”
Ebonypaw panicked and padded to the tabby tom. She put the marigold on his wounds and the poppy seeds for pain. ‘Thyme is for shock’, Minnowfoot had once told her. She had been treating Sleetpaw – Sleetkit, then – when she had fallen of a tree. Sleetkit had remained so still Ebonypaw had been worried she was dead, but the thyme had made its effect. ‘Please let it work.’
“What are you doing?” Oceanpaw left Swiftstar and tried to throw Ebonypaw away. “Don’t touch him!”
“My job is to heal, not to kill!” Ebonypaw snapped. “I’m curing him. Back off!”
Oceanpaw seemed very surprised, but Ebonypaw saw a glint of approval on her eyes. ‘Maybe she isn’t so bad after all.’
“Very well.” Oceanpaw agreed hesitantly. She looked even more doubtful as she turned to Wolfstar.
‘He is injured! We can’t keep fighting! What for?!’, Oceanpaw thought. “Wolfstar!” She finally called. “(insert tabby tom’s name) is injured! We have to stop!”
Autummstream nodded and lifted her chin. “What are you fighting for? Snowpaw didn’t know the border marker – it wasn’t even a fair battle.”
Oceanpaw felt uncertain. “I was protecting SandClan’s pride.”
“Well, was it worth it?” Autummstream lashed her tail angrily to the injured cats. “It’s a bloodshed for both sides! What are we fighting for?”
~SandClan~
Wolfstar sighed. He knew he couldn’t risk more cats. “You’re right. I shouldn’t be telling you this, but we have lost many cats this season. We can’t risk anymore. Turning around, he beckoned his Clan with his tail. “WoodClan, you should do the same, if you’re smart.”
~BreezeClan~
Lightblaze almost yowled in victory. “Look! They’re leaving! We’ve won! He said to Autumnstream. But as he surveyed the Clan, he found one body lying on the ground, unmoving:
His sister, Scarletpelt.
Autummstream gasped. “Scarletpelt!”. she meowed. Oceanpaw turned with curiosity, and a flash of surprise glittered on her eyes.
‘Who did that?’, Oceanpaw thought as she followed her Clan out.
Autummstream imediately yowled: “EBONYPAW! COME HERE!!”
Ebonypaw could make out Autummstream’s desperation as she hurried to her with as many herbs as she could carry. Autummstream still yowled by Lightblaze’s side, and the golden tom stared, terrified, at an unmoving body. With a shiver, Ebonypaw realized it was Scarletpelt. She let out a small cry of terror, letting go of a marigold leaf. She took it back and pulled the marigold to Scarletpelt’s wounds. Then she gave her thyme for chock. “She isn’t breathing…”, Ebonypaw admitted.
Autummstream brushed her pelt into Lightblaze’s, trying to imagine how she’d be feeling if she lost her sister. And Scarletpelt wasn’t just Lightblaze’s sister – she was Autummstream’s friend.
Lightblaze almost collapsed. “No… She can’t be…!” He muttered, stepping toward his dead sister. He knew he had to accept it, but he refused to belive the cold, hard truth. “Is there anything you can do for her?” He asked Ebonypaw, hoping there was still the slightest chance that Scarletpelt could be saved. Lightblaze looked down, and then suddenly realized something was caught in his sister’s claws. He bent down to examine it, and he caught a whiff of its scent. It was a tuft of fur, likely from Scarletpelt’s killer. He knew that smell-it was so familiar-but he couldn’t make it out. Suddenly, he realized what the scent was.
“It can’t be….”
I want to make a betrayal, like someone from the Clan killed Scarletpelt and used the battle to cover it. Who should it be?
(Darkpelt maybe)
“Oh no” Flowerpaw said.
(Yeah I was thinking that too)
“Darkpelt killed Scarletpelt! I know it!” Lightblaze yowled, before hanging his head, his emotions a mix of sadness and seething anger.
Violetmelt padded clawing more enemey cats on the way. “We should stick together its our greatest strength!”
“You’re right” Swiftstar agreed. “But WOODCLAN doesn’t seem to be backing down.” And StreamClan wasn’t coming
Autummstream looked at Wolfstar in curiosity at why he suddenly seemed rather chocked than sad; and maybe a little angry. She approached him to see him analysing a piece of fur on his sister’s claws. Then she understood. ‘He wants to know who killed her.’
Ebonypaw sighed. “No, Lightblaze. Oh, I’m so sorry…”, she couldn’t speak. She had traded her role of warrior, but there was nothing she could do. They’d lost Scarletpelt.
Autummstream took the piece of fur off Lightblaze’s claws. “It’s not use worrying.” But then a familiar scent bathed her nose. It smelled of BreezeClan, and of herbs…”Minnowfoot!”, she exclaimed.
(either Minnowfoot killed the Scarletpelt or it can be the dpeuty or something like that and Minnowfoot had passed throught the camp)
(I meant Lightblaze!!)
Suddenly, a reddish brown head poked in through the bushes.
“Hi….or maybe hello? I don’t know….witchever one would get you to tell me what’s going on…sorry, I’m very shy and iffy.” It was Hollydew.
“What’s a SandClan cat doing here?!”, Ebonypaw tensed. “I thought we had made our message clear!”
Oceanpaw peaked from behind the older cat (mentor? mother?). “We don’t want to fight”, she meowed gently. “We just want to know what’s going on. Hollydew didn’t have a part on the battle.”
Autummstream sighed to herself, then lifted her chin. “You are more than welcome.” She meowed.
Lightblaze forced his fur flat but couldn’t keep from unsheathing his claws. “Tell us what you want to, and then get your tails out of here. I mean it.” He growled. He took a step forward, and then muttered under his breath to Autumnstream. “What if they’re trying to trick us? They just attacked. Why, all of a sudden, would they warm up to us? That’s not SandClan.” Lightblaze glared at the two outsiders.
“And why should we tell you what’s happening in our Clan? That’s none of your business.”
(we’ve decided it should be Darkpelt. you know, clan betrayal)
“Lightblaze.” Autummstream brushed her tail into his shoulder, trying to comfort him. “There was a battle.”, she explained to Hollydew. “Cats were hurt…And even killed.” She decided not to mention Scarletpelt. Lightblaze had suffered enough. “Now, could you go? Your Clan must be worried.”
Oceanpaw hesitated, but Autummstream was right. “Thank you.”, she whispered. “If it wasn’t for you and Ebonypaw, my father would have been killed.” She turned away with Hollydew.
“Hmph.” Lightblaze snorted as the
SandClan cats walked away. Then, he spotted the fur again. Sniffing at it, he tried to concentrate. Suddenly, the familiar smell triggered an image of the killer to form in Lightblaze’s head. ‘Darkpelt!’ He thought. He bit back a yowl of anger and sadness and whipped around. “Darkpelt, wherever you are, I’ll get you for this! But why? Why my sister….” He faded to silence and padded toward the warriors’ den. Maybe some sleep would help him get over the grief.
Autummstream lay down by his side and licked his ear. “It will be alright.”, she meowed. “She’ll watch over us on StarClan. One day you’ll join her.” Her voice lowered to a whisper. “I just hope it’s not soon. I’d miss you.”
She wanted to discuss about the reason Scarletpelt had been killed, and to hunt Darkpelt wherever the she-cat was. But none of those would help Lightblaze. Instead she remained close, waiting until he was ready to talk.
Snowpaw came back to camp with Goldpaw on her paws. “Silverstar was away! We couldn’t get help! Where are Lightblaze and Autummstream?”
Ebonypaw shook her head with sadness. “Scarletpelt’s been killed. We will mourn her tonight.”
(The Wi-Fi has returned- and so have I!!!)
Swiftstar lowered her head, staring down at her dead clan mate. “We will track down Darkpelt, “ she promised solemnly
Lightblaze sighed, draping his tail over Autumnstream. “I hope you’re right.” He said. The golden tom struggled to his paws and walked out of the warriors’ den. His sister was gone; there was no changing that. But what Lightblaze could do was to avenge her death. “We’ll find Darkpelt, and then we’ll show her how much we care for our Clanmates!” He yowled. And then, in a whisper, he said. “I’ll find you, Darkpelt, no matter how long it takes, and then you’ll pay for taking my sister from me.”
“We should start the vigil.”, Ebonypaw sighed.
Snowpaw shifted uncomfortably on her paws.
Autummstream touched her tail to Lightblaze’s shoulder.
“We should. In the morning we’ll go look for Darkpelt.” Swiftstar agreed
(Sorry for the late reply!)
Lightblaze thanked Autumnstream. He didn’t feel good, and grief wouldn’t leave his heart until he had revenge. Lightblaze tried to push the violent feeling out, but he knew he would never be able to let go of his scorching anger and heavy sorrow until Darkpelt was dead.
hi!! i submitted my oc, can you accept it?))
Autummstream nodded and licked his ear softly. She wanted to prive him from speaking, and looked at Ebonypaw.
Ebonypaw cleared her throat. “Scarletpelt was a brave warrior”, she started. “She was my mentor when I was unsure and scared of the prophecy, and she helped me get over my fears. You all know I wasn’t born to be a fighter. But thanks to Scarletpelt, my brilhant mentor, Swiftstar wasn’t worse hurt when Oceanpaw attacked her.” Her voice flinched. “I’ll miss her…”
“We all will. And we will avenge her death” Swiftstar agreed solemnly
“She was one of my best friends.”, Autummstream agreed.
Lightblaze purred despite his grief. It was comforting to see the Clan mourning for Scarletpelt, like him, and wanting revenge, like him. He touched his nose to Autumnstream’s ear, then looked to Swiftstar. “When are we leaving to find Darkpelt?”
~Vulturethorn~
The tom sat in the clearing, no word of what happened had reached him, or his inner mind, voices chiming in and out, telling him what to do when to do it, talking about prey, clans, kits, and more. It was like a little clan lived in his head. He was unaware for the most part. A louder voice snapped at the smaller ones, causing them to fall silent. He finally looked up, now focused on reality.
:()
(lol this is kinda innactive. I still check on it every day, tho!)
HELP NO THIS WAS THE WRONG AREA I’M SO SORRY)
~Vulturethorn~
His attention quickly drifted to the paw. His face filled with confusion.
“Darkpelt..? What?..”
A raspy voice for sure, he cringed at it.
“Vulture thorn!!! It is time for the patrol to find Darkpelt” Flowerpaw said
Autummstream pressed her muzzle to Scarletpelt’s fur. “Goodbye, my dear friend. We will see each other again.”
~Vulturethorn~
The tom padded over, confusion visible on his face for the most part.
“What.. happened?..”
Autummstream stared at him sadly. “Scarletpelt…She…Died…”, she sobbed. “Darkpelt…Killed…Her…”
~Vulturethorn~
A wave of pity rushed through him as he slowly approached her, laying his tail on her back, offering some comfort.
“I’m.. sorry for your loss..”
Autummstream shook away and signaled to Lightblaze. “Don’t worry about me. He just lost his sister.”
~Vulturethorn~
A shudder overcame him at those words, his eyes slowly traveling towards Lionblaze. After a moment he took a step forward towards the tom.
“Are you alright..?”
So much had happened..
(Woah this RP has slowed down while i was inactive)
“Lightblaze probably needs some time to recover. Maybe everyone should go find Darkpelt”
Lightblaze shook his head sadly, gazing at Vulturethorn. “Don’t worry. I’ll be fine, as long as we find Darkpelt and make her pay. Then, and only then, will my sister’s death be avenged.”
~WOLFSTAR~
Over in SandClan, Wolfstar was pondering over the last battle with BreezeClan. They were strong, and they fought well, even though he hated to admit it. ‘Maybe we can work things out at the next Gathering.’ Wolfstar thought. He remembered the battle scene too well as he had left, injured bodies scattered across the ground and the grass stained with blood. With a shudder, Wolfstar got up and shook out his fur, walking over to the stream to take a drink and get his mind off the darker side of leadership.
~Vulturethorn~
He nodded slowly, thinking over something.
“Well, you should rest for now, the shock of your sisters.. death.. will leave an impact on you, along with that, you should mourn properly so it doesn’t become a rage you can’t tame..”
