  • Welcome! This is the character creation page of my new RP, Heartbeat! Make sure you go read over the info page first, I know it’s long, but it’s all important. Now, without further ado, here is the character creation sheet:

    Now, let’s explain all of that. Age should be in human years. Backstory is just basically how your character’s life has gone, and how they ended up at the void. Family relations is just the names of your family members or other loved ones, whether they are dead, and if so, how they died. Charisma is how good you are with words, it helps with convincing people of something, calming them down, and other things. Dexterity is basically how good you are with your hands/flexibility. This might help you edge across a cliff or dodge enemy attacks. Here is my character, as an example.

    Personality: very friendly, although he’s very quick to judge, and won’t trust someone if he’s getting a bad vibe from them. However, once he decides that he’s friends with someone, he finds it very hard to accept if they don’t end up so good.
    Backstory: He lived a pretty normal life, and he happened to be out hunting when the void opened.
    Family relations: His mother was named Krill, his father, Flame, died before he was born. He had a younger sister named Far, who is still alive and living with his mother, and he has an older brother named Wick, who was killed by a fox. His mother is still alive.

      Description: beautiful mottled black and gray she cat with white flecks, one white paw and green-blue eyes.
      Personality: Smart, nervous about mostly everything, but try’s to hide it from people and fight it, Sarcastic, believes there’s some good in everybody and in destiny, very very un-patient, really wants to have friends , sometimes does things without any reason behind it.
      Backstory:
      Her first memory was being in a cage, and she escaped, seeking to find her family. She only found Moss, her sister, who had told Realm who her family was and that her name was Leap. She and Moss traveled for sometime, until Moss got trapped in a barn. Leap ( Realm ) saved Moss and Moss decided to stay there and she renamed Leap, Realm, saying that no matter how far apart they were, whether they were in different realms or two mouse-lengths away, she would always love Realm. Realm went away, always remembering Moss, and found the void while trying to find a home.

    • I want to make three characters. I might not make all three right now.
      This is the first one, with a personality and skillsets extremely similar to my own, but a completely different backstory and family; a true OC at her core, ‘cuz I am trying not to implement myself into everything (which I like to do so that I roleplay my characters in a way I like because they already behave similarly to me; but I promise the other two won’t be like me like this OC is in many ways).

    • IDEA ALERT! IDEA ALERT! What if Fox and Star (the sisters) are TOGETHER through the void?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! (…meaning it’ll be devastating when – I mean if, but you know we’re all expecting it from Moona XD – they’re torn apart…)

      Age: 15 (same litter as Fox)

      Description: calico cat with golden eyes

      Personality: sarcastic, extremely snappy, struggles to trust anybody, pessimistic, warms up to others very slowly, semi-secretive (like, she probably won’t keep a humongous secret from everybody, but she prefers for some things to stay personal)

      Backstory: she found the void where her sister, Fox, got sucked into after Fox’s – I mean Star’s, definitely – friends reported to Star that Fox had gone missing in that general area… Star, being intelligent, suspected where Fox was taken, and bravely found her way through in a similar spot after speaking with her parents, leaving her old world potentially gone forever

      Family relations: her parents are named Strike and Oak, and she has a sister named Fox

      Sexuality: bisexual (maybe pansexual)

          I was completely joking about you doing something bad with my characters (which you’re allowed to do if you feel it’ll add drama) – I was making assumptions for the joke’s sake.
          I’m sorry if I bothered you ever-so-slightly. I don’t like putting words in others’ mouths; I just wanted to make a joke, and I promise I didn’t really believe one way or another what you would do. I don’t know much about you, and I shouldn’t have put words in your mouth for you that weren’t yours. I hope you understand. 🙂

      Description: agave is a light ginger she-cat with green eyes and swirly markings
      Personality: shy but fun once you get to know her. she’s had trauma in her past so she doesn’t trust anyone too easily.
      Backstory: Agave was born and raised in Temik. her mom died of food poisoning when she was young. her dad often blamed her for her mom’s death because agave was the only one around when her mom ate the bad food, and agave didn’t know any better to just wait there with her dying mom until help came and not getting help herself. maybe if she had called for help sooner her mom could be alive. her dad ignored her for most of her childhood, and she only had one friend, whose name was Jasper. Jasper is still alive but has a bad lung condition so he can’t move around very much.
      Family relations: mom-dead. dad-alive but doesn’t care. siblings-none. not super close to her extended family.
      Sexuality: pan but prefers she-cats

      Gender/pronouns: male; he/him

      Description: broad-shouldered, large blue-and-white striped (think zig-zags) cat with spiky/bushy fur that helps block out the cold and makes him look even more intimidating; pale blue eyes; has scars

      Personality: mysterious, calm unless in combat, it takes a lot to make him lose his cool – even in combat, has a soft spot for pretty much everything and everyone, sometimes acts like a jerk or acts threatening to keep himself or others “safe” when he’s really not a jerk or cruel at his core

      Backstory: his father died when he was young protecting his family from other cats who wanted to steal their prey, and his other father isn’t big and strong and suffers from anxiety (the father who died was big and strong), so Hailstorm basically took up the role of the protector of his family; Hailstorm disappeared when he was trying to find his family in a blizzard, but he got swept away through the void (meaning he is worried about if his family members made it, but right now, he has no way to find out, and this drives him absolutely bonkers on the inside)

      Family relations: he has two sisters and one brother, all of whom are younger than him (he is a single-litter cat); he has a father who is pretty much always stressed out (so imagine his stress when Hailstorm – the guardian-type – disappears)

      Description: A pale pink cat with large black spots on her back and on half her face. Eyes are dark blue, and her tail is fluffy, while the rest of her is mostly short-haired. Her resting face is a wary expression.
      Personality: She won’t trust anyone right away, but seems to warm up to people quickly. She is, however, secretly constantly wary and cautious around cats and situations she isn’t prepared for. She is aloof sometimes, but can be very talkative at times. Once she is attached to you she won’t want to abandon you, but wrong her and she’ll get her revenge. Sarcastic, cynical, but generally a good friend. She is a very fantastic fighter but prefers to not let people know of this, for the element of surprise in case of emergency. She can also run sort of fast.
      Backstory: She lived with a large group of cats when she was a kitten, but she ran away when she was older to escape the dull routines of the community. She made three very close friends, and was happy. They traveled all over Liao. But later, one of them, Sugar, died, and Sugar’s brother, Venn, left. Shard Speaker, the third friend, stuck with Petal, but when Petal got sick, they left to go find help. Petal healed over time, but Shard Speaker never returned. Petal has spent the last 2.5 months searching for Shard Speaker, but she hasn’t found any trace of them yet. She will not stop searching until she finds them.
      Family relations: Mother: Pollen
      Father: Dappled Feather
      (She has multiple cousins and siblings, and only cares about one, Dusk. But Dusk didn’t run away with Petal, and so she hasn’t seen him in years.)

      Backstory: the first thing she can remember was waking up in Temik, nearby a group of cats with her brother. She eventually left these cats, and began asking every cat she could find about the world and its history, even though she hated the actual talking bit. She was branching out from Temik into the other regions, hoping to learn more, when she got sucked into Grytch.
      Family relations: “mothers”(she’s an orphan): Crystal and Terry, both alive. Brother:Bird, alive. “Grandparents”: Jack, Bessy, Blade, alive, Sky, Jade, Hawk, dead.

After she was old enough, she left the family and lived with her friend, Moon. She lived happily with her until Moon was killed by a fox, and Amazi blamed herself because she didn’t stop it in time. She had low-self esteem and still does to this day.

Her mother was heartbroken and died of sadness, she and her siblings had to feed themselves. They were all thin and weak when a cat called Snow found them and took them in. They lived with Snow until they were old enough to live on their own.

    Name: Lunaheart

    Description: Fluffy light gray tabby she-cat with three ginger paws, ear tips, and speckles, one white paw, and deep blue eyes.
    Personality: Feisty, fierce, slightly competitive, is sometimes rash, keeps to herself, and is kind to cats she trusts.
    Backstory: Born to her parents, Sagebrush from Jas and Cinderflame from Temik, Lunaheart has always been different in appearance, with a light gray pelt and ginger and white paws. When she was younger, she was bullied by a group of Temik cats, causing her to not trust easily anymore and to keep to herself. Her mother was killed by the group of cats that bullied her when she was 12 (In human years), and her father went back to Jas, abandoning her to live on her own and fend for herself, until she met her best friend, Birchleaf, who her currently has an extreme crush on.

    Backstory: Birchleaf was born to her parents, whose names are unknown, that gave her away to her mother’s sister, Finchnose when she was barely a year old. Finchnose was not a good caretaker to Birchleaf, leaving her alone as a kit in her den for hours as she visited her mate, Juniperberry, at his camp with his friends. Eventually, Birchleaf ran away when she was 13, meeting Lunaheart and living with her ever since in an abandoned farmhouse.

    Courage is a large male cat whose fur flows long and is very silky. His pelt color is a dark clouded blue with dark ginger stripes along the front of his four legs, it widens at his neck, narrows at his middle back, and widens again on his lower back. He is very muscular and lithe, he is very thin and has large paws.

    Courage is wise

    Backstory
    Courage was born on a small camp between the Jas and Son territories. Claws ran away as a young kit and found a small Clan made by the Son cats, Scooter and Courage took pride in their territory and when Flower met a Jas tom named Moss she had kits with him. When Snow, Blossom, and Fern turned three moons the Clan Claws joined attacked, Claws, now known as Seedflight, killed Flower and almost Fern. Before Seedflight’s claws hit Fern he secretly swiped her out from under Flower. Moss saw Seedflight kill Flower and ran away without another thought, Seedflight saw Snow and Blossom and realized what had just happened. He regretfully grabbed Snow and another she-cat grabbed Blossom, Fern watched as her siblings were taken away and Courage ran, he ran far into Jas territory and made a group of his own, ‘Place of the Phoenix’, he called it, after his “rebirth” as a new cat. He now leads with Fern as his apprentice and a tom named Wolf as his deputy.
