Clothes: she usually wears a thin, off-white wool dress which hangs straight down to her thighs; she has a thicker, long-sleeved wool dress and a brown leather jacket for colder weather. She will sometimes wear her jacket even when it’s warm, if she’s not burning too much energy. She wears close-toed, light brown flat leather shoes, although she will take them off inside if she’s allowed.
Personality: she has strong ties to her family, and helps them on their farm whenever possible. She takes things seriously—sometimes to a fault when people are trying to joke—and she’s a big rule follower. There isn’t a big difference between how she talks to her family and friends versus how she talks to strangers and casual acquaintances, although she tries to be as polite as possible with everyone. She’s accustomed to getting dirty, so she doesn’t really mind it.

Backstory: Cambri was a wild kaida for most of her life, not really interacting with humans. One harsh winter, she happened upon a farm. Alena found her trying to hunt their cows, and chased her away. Still hungry, Cambri came back the next day; Alena, having consulted with her parents on what had happened with the kaida, decided to bring Cambri a morsel of her meal. Cambri sort of stayed by the farm all winter, so the Hazelmores continued to feed her what they could spare. When the weather warmed and prey became more plentiful, Cambri started hunting for herself, but came back to the farm out of habit. The family decided that they would continue hosting Cambri for as long as she wanted to stay, and Alena volunteered to take care of the kaida.
