  • Roselet, are you still working on your chapter? Every time we ask you about your chapter you say that you’re still working on it, but the chapter hasn’t been updated since probably around 2022. If you can’t write your chapter because you’re busy, that’s fine, and I’d be happy to finish it off for you so that the story can still continue.

      • Moonpaw and Amberpaw (hang on a second…) are alone somewhere, talking about life’s hardships, until the bullies find them and drag them back to camp. It is battle training with all four of them. Moonpaw is to fight Pinepaw and Amberpaw to fight Sorrelpaw. Pinepaw fights with unsheathed claws like Mudstorm. Moonpaw struggles to beat her and Pinepaw leaves her wounded on the floor before turning to fight Amberpaw with Sorrelpaw. Moonpaw climbs to her feet to defend her friend, before Mudstorm finally calls it off. He dismisses everyone but Moonpaw, where he lectures her about how useless of an apprentice she was, leading her to wish she was a medicine cat, yet again. She feels useless and wants to go back to camp, but Mudstorm insists that she stays until she gets the move right, which she fails many times until she slips from her mentor’s grasp and runs into the forest. She knows how much trouble she’ll be in but she doesn’t want to return home. As sun sets she makes herself a nest between a tree’s roots but, just as night falls Amberpaw finds her. She is alone. The apprentices wonder if it would be better to run away…

        Of course, it doesn’t have to be like this at all! This is just what I’d do. 😀

          Oh wow, those are great ideas!! I’d have little changes and additions, such as:
          -Moonpaw wishing she was a mediicne cat, but she still snaps at Mudstorm, and doesn’t feel useless (she onyl feels like that near Breezedust and Fogpaw), only angry
          -Moonpaw CHOSES to face muscular-wonderful-in-battle Pinepaw because that’s the way she is.
          -I’m thinking about Mudstorm being there and watching, not caring Moonpaw gets hurt. He does extra practice with her and with claws unsheatehd, and he lets no one hurt his “golden boy” (Pinepaw). No one notices he isn’t protecting his daughter, though…
          -Moonpaw goes on a hunt with Amberpaw, but she ends up only noticing herbs. When she knows it, Amberpaw and she have gotten lost from each other. Then she stumbles close to a argument between Breezedust and her brother, and claws are unsheathed. The feelings I described come back and she leaves them. Then she meets Amberpaw and they wonder whether they should run away….

          I kinda like having a character who is headstrong, and hotheded, and have her grow to notice the world will be fun to write 🙂

    I had this idea for a Sorrelpaw SE and wanted to share it:

    Since she was a little kit, Sorrelpaw has always known her place: when her brother Pinepaw is leader, she will be a queen in the nursery, giving the Clan lots of healthy litters that will grow into warriors and queens. When her mother, Cloudflower, dies, she prepares herself to be Sorrelflower, queen of SplashClan. But when the leader names her Sorrelwing, she has to face her father’s disappointment and the fact that she doesn’t want a mate. At all. Now that all she has ever known has been crushed, she remembers all the odd things that happened to her Clan: Specially the disappearance of a intriguing bullying victim, Moonpaw/Moonsky [not sure]. Sorrelwing may finally take flight…

    I want to finish at least the first book before writing it, but I just thought I’d tell you ^^! Do you guys have any ideas for future SE/novellas (just for fun)?

    • A Dapplepaw novella would probably be cool! It would show what happens when Silverpaw is “off with the twolegs” as she puts it.

    The Moonpaw chapter is done! Please read 🙂
    A few things:
    -Amberpaw crossed FlameClan border, does she meet Silverpaw or does she get away hidden?
    -What do you all think of Breezedust, Fogpaw and Moonpaw’s relationship?
    -Opinion on Moonpaw (as cat and character)?
    -I tried to make her have bits of mean reactions to things so she and the bullies could be in a vicious cycle (they did something, she put yarrow in their fresh-kill, they hurt her and Amberpaw, she does something…), and also she’s in so much pressure and stress that she’s being a quite bad friend, if you look hard enough.
    -Sorrelpaw and Moonpaw are much more similar than they think. They both lost their mother and are expected to be just like them (Cloudflower and Dawnlily), and named after them. They both have a awful father who’s struggling with grief, but were never truly good (Mudstorm cheated on his first mate, I’m thinking of her being named Galedust or Wind/ydust, since she’s Breezedust’s sister [look at Hareleap and Sheepfur’s purrsonas]! Maybe their father or mother was Dust- and they were named after them.)
    What do you guys think?

    • Sorry that I was so late to respond! The chapter was great, I love Amberpaw and who cares if I’m biased.
      I feel like Silverpaw would’ve seen Amberpaw, but he was alone and he wouldn’t have wanted to deal with taking Amberpaw back, so he just says to go and don’t come back. (Then he sees Fernpaw and is like- oh, come on!)
      What I like about your chapter is that I kinda hate everybody but I also don’t, because I don’t even know who to blame.
      I feel like Moonpaw is right about Sunnypaw. I have a suspicion that he’s only treating Moonpaw nicely bc he got what ye wanted. I don’t like him.
      I really like Moonpaw- she’s awesome because she’s very different.

  • Rainlet hasn’t commented on this page since February, and I finished my chapter on January. That means it’s been almost four months since she started her chapter, and it only got finished because I got impatient. I’m concerned that we’re going to get the same loop. I’m happy to write Fernpaw, but I don’t think that’s very fair. Should we find someone to replace her, if she doesn’t comment soon to stay? Ik that Sandi was helping out here so maybe if she wanted she could take on that role.

  • Hi, everybody! Just like to say that, until we find a replacement, I’m happy to take Fernpaw under my wing (although Silverpaw won’t be!)
    Also- I was wondering if maybe Fernpaw and Silverpaw could have a semi-forbiddenrelationship (semi-relationship, not semi-forbidden!) I did say that perhaps one of the other PoVs could be friends with Silverpaw (almost without his consent :p) and it would be her idea to run away.
