    • [sorry if I’m bothering you 😛 but I was just curious as to how you’re working this out? is it because of the cats’ parents’ colors, or something else? :)]

      • Not bothering! I’m tracing the family trees as far back as they will go, then working forward based on colors and real cat genes. (I like genetics 🙂 I have a book on cat genes)

So, to verify say, Alderheart’s coloration, I have to go back and check Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Tigerstar, Goldenflower, Firestar, Sandstorm, Jake, Nutmeg, Pinestar, Leopardfoot, Speckletail, Smallear, Harepounce, Stagleap, Oakstar, Adderfang, Swiftbreeze, annnnnnd Flashnose (All of his known ancestors).

I had a giant list on paper at one point, but I lost it. I’m redoing it now on a google slides. It’s a hobby of mine 🙂

    • Well, yes, the coupling between Redtail & Brindleface can’t produce kits cause of Red’s XXY problem. But now, when checking the Wiki fandom & the official family tree, Sandstorm has no parents (She’s just floating there 🙂 ). Also, she does exist. Therefor, she is either adopted or someone else’s kid, meaning I can’t prove her incorrect. (I kinda hope we don’t find out her parents because then I might have to change all the cats descended from her…which is a lot)

  • Hi

I wrote a small FanFic about Sandstorm

The moon reached its peak in the sky, no more than a claw. The sound of faint pawsteps alerted a few birds, however, they knew better.
    The birds did not call.
    They were afraid.
A small tortoiseshell tom ran through the undergrowth, his bushy red tail showing silver in the moonlight.
The sound of rushing water soon became louder.
He sat at the edge of the river, gazing across the rocks.
Sadly, he knew there would be more blood spilled over this land.
Ears pricked, a small wail came from a hawthorn bush.
He pushed aside the brambles and uncovered a small kit.
Her fur was the color of sand.
He looked around, all senses alert for any type of figure that the small kit could belong to.
    Nothing.
He bent down and licked the kit until it stopped mewing.
“Don’t worry little one,” said the tom. “I’ll keep you safe.”

  • (Ignore all the above comments please 😛 😛 😛 )

You step through the portal, the sunny meadow replaced by a low hanging tunnel. It’s difficult to see, but you can still make out the shadowy shape of two tunnels. One dips down into the Earth, with torches lighting it’s walls. You can hear the sound of water rippling against the stone walls, and the torch light dances on the surface of dark water.
The second tunnel is unlit. You can see only darkness, and it’s impossible to tell how far it reaches.
“You must choose one,” Pacificae says, making you all jump. “Stick together if you want, or split up. It’s up to you, but any faults you acquire will still contribute to this group’s total.

So, take some time to chat amongst yourselves if you want. Once you decide where your character is going, go to the appropriate secret page.

    • -Tia-

Tia looked at all the people around her. Not talking to anyone specifically, she said, “Does anyone have an opinion? Both look like a bad option.”

      • Star stands beside Tia, “Well, I vote we stick together. It’s a bad idea to go alone.” She pauses, “And in the dark we wouldn’t be able to see a challenger, so I vote water tunnel, but I’ll go with majority on this one.”

        • -Tia-

Tia nodded. “That makes sense.” She raised her voice, addressing everyone in the tunnel. “Where do we want to go? We should stick together!”

          • Agave-
“I’d rather go dark,” Agave muttered, a little reluctant at the idea of everyone sticking together. She preferred to work alone or in small groups, but she supposed as long as they won it didn’t matter much.

            Magnolia-
“I think we should take the water tunnel,” Magnolia replied. “I can help anyone who has trouble swimming, but in the darkness none of us will know what to suspect.” She crossed her thin arms across her chest, hoping that the youngsters would make smart choices for once.

            • -Tia-

Tia smiled at the older woman. “I’d say you probably have the most experience out of all of us.” She glanced at Agave. “I think we should take the water tunnel, but if you’re more comfortable in the dark, you could strike out on your own…” She was hesitant to make this suggestion. She wanted them to come with the group. “But you’d be safer with other people.”

              • “How about those who want to go down the water tunnel stand beside that one, those who prefer the dark tunnel stand beside that one, no one steps through yet though, and we will all go with the group that has the most of us in it,” She thinks for a second, “i suppose if you really wanted to you could go down the opposite tunnel, we can’t make you stay with the rest of us,” She looks sharply at Agave and Soliya,”But it’s better if we’re together.”

                • -Tia-

Tia nodded in agreement. “I like the sound of that.” She walked confidently over to the entrance to the water tunnel. “I vote…” The glanced over her shoulder awkwardly, “this way.”

                • Agave-
Agave glanced over at Soliya, then shrugged. “I suppose that makes sense,” she agreed reluctantly, drumming on the hilt of her sword. “I’m still in favor of the dark one.” She scowled, wondering how these trials were relevant to killing the king.

                  Magnolia-
Magnolia made her way over to the water tunnel, pleased that the group was going to be sticking together. She would have been fine on her own, but she wanted to get a sense of who she was working with before they actually started trying to overthrow a kingdom together.

    • Soliya-
Soliya walked toward Agave, dagger at the ready. “I vote dark tunnel,” they said, their green eyes straining to make out anything in the tunnel. “What about you?”

      Mar-
Mar gulped. The water tunnel seemed like a better choice, but she wasn’t sure. She sat down on the ground, thinking.
