So, for a novel I was planning to make, I want to know if this is a good character or not.
Erica is young teacher at a middle school. She doesn’t know how to teach efficiently, doesn’t like communicating directly with others, and is detached from the world. She is also a single mother of two kids, but is not that good of a parent. She has PTSD and implied depression.
Pretty good, probably a character that would have an interesting arc!

Maverick !!!!
The funny thing about Maverick, is he never seems to stay in the same place for long, always moving always changing, he really doesn’t know how on earth to settle down. He is rather quick to form bonds and friendships with others, even sometimes romantic relationships, yet is always quick to tear them down in various arguments. Its like he has pressed the fast forward button on life. Quite often overreacting to little things, Maverick actually hates the attention this brings to him, for him it seems like he is acting perfectly normal and everyone else is strangely impartial. He obviously doesn’t mean to be like this, there’s something about him that just seems…. nice. He’s not a bad guy, just not exactly sure how the world works. Often, he will help out with charity work and just being general kind, most likely to try and make up for all the positive relationships he has ruined. Although it might not seem like it, he really does work his hardest to settle down, and really attempts to persevere with everything.
Maverick is terrified of commitment, and is worried that by settling down he might not get to see a lot of the world.
Some quirks of his are, playing with his food, biting his nails, and jokily uses ain’t when he speaks, although it annoys him with others say it seriously !
I might do more later !

Ink !!!
If there’s one word to describe Ink, its funky. Almost everything he does is weird, and random, and funny. He’s absolutely hilarious, and can have the toughest crowd in stitches within seconds. He’s a total party animal, and loves being the centre of attention 24/7. However, he also doesn’t know when to stop, and if his jokes sometimes get a little cruel, he won’t really realise it. For such a people person, he’s incredibly selfish, and mainly does things for his own gain, although if he is one of your best friends, he will help you out in a heart beat. He doesn’t have many who he’s incredibly close to.
When he is thinking he bounces from foot to foot in a strange sort of dancing way. His favourite phrase is “What’s poppin Jimbo” and he slouches a lot.

Hey guys! Wondering if you have tips on writing romance. I’ve got an old piece I’m editing to make less cringy, and it is kinda romantic I guess? The one catch – the characters meet and have some sort of relationship by the end of a two weeks period. I know it’s unrealistic, but I’m trying to find a way to make it work. Any ideas? If not, I can find ways to extend that period a little longer, but really not much more. They basically meet while one character is on vacation, and unless their relationship begins before she leaves, it obviously wouldn’t work, so that’s why the time period is short. I’m currently writing the end scene, where they finally admit they may sorta be falling for each other. If you’d like more details, let me know and I can link the draft here!

So I have two characters in a fanfic, and they ecome best friends, but I need help to develop their relationship. One is Clanborn and one is not.
Is there a certain aspect you need help with? ;D

So, uh, this is a little thing, but I’m debating whether Blaze’s mane on his head should cover his right eye or not 😛
So I’m writing a story that includes a character who is 700 years old and hates everything about his life, a girl who has no memories of her past whatsoever and only ever remembers waking up in a canyon, a guy who can heal people and is a skittish boy around enemies but is tough on his friends, a girl who is very knowledgable and likes to read and use strategy instead of brute force, and a dude who’s a total jerk to the 700 year old guy and is in love with forget-me-not girl.
Their current names are:
Tobias (700 year old dude)
Kristella (Forget-me-not girl)
Ylvig (Crush on forget-me-not girl dude)
Nyemok (Healer guy)
Lyva (Super smart girl)
HOWEVER:
I need names that can span across the 700 years that Tobias has been alive. They dissolved, basically, from being normal-ish names (Like Tobias, Lyanna, and that stuff) to weird names (like Ylvig, Nyemok, and Lyva).
Feel free to experiment, I just need some names that can span across that time period for back up characters.
