So on the recent post of ADC, I noticed there were a few people that wanted to join… Should I include all of them joining the clan?
Sure! I already let Emberpaw in!
Since this page hasn’t been moving to quickly, and a few people expressed interest in joining, I thought I could do a few questions (like the daily ones from back in the day!) I included A.D.C stuff, warriors stuff and general stuff!
1. What are your favourite moments from A Destiny Calling so far?
2. If you could be in the warriors books, what arc and clan would you be in?
3. Pineapples on Pizza???
My answers!
1. I like the fun stuff more than the intense drama aspects. My favourite part is probably the favourite restaurant debate that took place in chapter 8, and the playfight in Hazelpaw’s most recent chapter. The chill stuff makes me happy 🙂
2. Probably ASC (so I can skip all the crazy stuff in the preceding arcs) and I think I would be in SkyClan or ShadowClan! (Perhaps I would be half clan…Maybe a FringewhiskerxSpireclaw kit if they have them in the arc)
3. YESSSSSS
1: I honestly like events out of camp, like hunting or just when cats are thinking thoughts in the woods or going on a stroll. Gotta love those action scenes, though!
2: Okay, this is a tough one. I’d like to be in between Dawn of the Clans and Bluestar’s Prophecy. I love clean slates, so mid-late ASC means a whole new problem, maybe, so would be my pick if we’re talking an existing arc!

1. I’ve loved seeing all the friendships evolve and just seeing characters chat! I also really like the suspense of the “traitor” stuff and when Springstar took over
2. I would be in RiverClan but I also would want to be in ThunderClan because that’s where all the developed characters are 😛 As for the arc…. Arc 4 would be AMAZING but DotC would also be awesome

Characters chatting and interacting 🙂 I like nearly every moment from the most dramatic to the most relaxing, this book is just chef’s kiss. Everyone worked so hard and look at the awesome result we got.
2. If you could be in the warriors books, what arc and clan would you be in? I’d be a RiverClanner! (Took the quizz and all.) Mmmmm…Probably ASC too! It’s so stressful though. Every arc is stressful- But yeah, probably ASC because that’s where my favorite characters live
and I could slap some sense into them.3. Pineapples on Pizza??? Idk, never tried it xD (My dad likes bananas on pizza though)
1: Either the restaurant debate, Wolfpaw’s internal struggles, or the character interactions, specifically the ones revolving around Shadeleap, the Mediator. Gosh, every chapter of this story was written well, (I seem to be only praising myself but I’m not I promise) and I can’t wait for what’s next with Springstar!

Alright guys, there are a few people who want to be in the story but I do not know if any of them want to be writers besides maybe Emberpaw!

I think someone with a name like Sunpaw also submitted a form? (I’m also not sure whether or not Dovekit/paw/wing was submitting a form to us/whether she’s active on the blog, so maybe we should wait on adding her)
Maybe when we post the next chapter, we could ask them if they want to be writers (or be part of the discussion on this page)
I introduced Emberpaw, Flamepaw and Solarpaw in my chapter, and tried to imply that there were others in their group that had been lost. Perhaps the reason there are suddenly more cats is because StarClan has seen what Springstar is doing, and believes more twolegs need to be recruited?
I’ve noticed one or two members of the current ADC cast have gone inactive, so possible after Springstar has been dealt with, those cats could fade (having achieved their destiny or something.) I dunno if that’s a good idea, though. My only reason for saying it is that it would allow for the members invested in the project to have more screen time.
I think a few of them stated whether or not they wanted to be Shining cats, but I’m not entirely certain. I introduced three of them in my chapter, but I though adding anymore would be too much in one chapter!
I think “fading” could mean they’ve gone back to being humans, but the cats who haven’t yet done their job would stay. Just my opinion though!

I think joining the Clan in such a troubled time will be interesting to explore. They know about the traitor before they can form any bonds or connections, so they can trust no one. This will be really interesting.
News: I am 40 seconds in to animating We Don’t Talk about Wolfpaw! (Don’t worry, it’s not a WCUE music video xD)

Ooooh, I used to use that one back in fifth grade!! I completely forgot about it after I stopped using my school’s computer ;v; But it was so good…

After a few days of writing, my chaos of a chapter is finally ready for others to read/edit it!! Before you do, I just have a few notes that I want to share
-Firstly, I know the shift from Specklefur being heavily wounded to three new cats’ arrival to the clan was a bit jarring, but I wanted to ensure that everything was included. The hint at more cats is because others also submitted forms, but I thought adding more than three cats in one go was a bit of an overkill
-Secondarily, (if Ambi’s okay with this one), I think she was the one to take Specklefur, knowing that only twolegs would be able to save her sister. I think this could lead to the Specklefur redmeption arc (which Ambi wanted to do, and could follow through with in her next chapter)
-I also think that we’re building up to the climax of Springstar’s reign, and that she might fall over the next 3-10 chapters? I think this wolf attack will act as a major blow to her stability as leader, and that she will crack down harder than ever on trying to remain in power!
-As always if you feel out of character, I will happily change what I have written to be more in line with who you are as a person!! I hope you enjoy my chapter!

I’m super glad you enjoyed my chapter!! Just a reminder that I don’t believe any of us (the ADC gang) really want to abuse you/make you suffer emotionally within the story. The only reason everything is going so poorly if because of the propaganda (and totalitarianism) that Springstar is inflicting on the clan. I think one of the major messages of the story is that, the end of the day, while we all struggle with our own mental and emotional issues, we’ll support each other in the end! (That got a bit off track 😛)
Anywho, I’ll change up the way that I wrote those little bits in the chapters! I noticed how on the ADC slides you said that you wanted us to be friends in the story, and I hope we achieve that soon <3

As for what happened to Specklefur, I should have clarified my second point better. Here’s what I meant:
Taking a fatal blow from a raving Springstar, every cat knew that Specklefur had little chance of survival. Skymist and Icepaw laid her to rest in Wolfpaw’s den, allowing those closest to her to have some privacy in her final moments. The two medicine cats were stretched too thin to actually spend time with her in those moments. And no cat, not even Snowpaw, considered Specklefur a close enough friend to visit, not when every cat was exhausted and wounds were so grievous on all of them.
Around the same time, in twoleg place, Amberleaf was out on a stroll. She heard screeching, and made her way towards camp, careful to stick to the shadows so no cat could see her, but desperation to ensure her friends were alright driving away reservations. Sticking to the shadows, though none noticed her, she followed the metal tang of blood, finding her sister, limp and lifeless.
Even though Amberleaf loathed her sister for acting as a catalyst in Springstar’s reign of terror she had no desire to see her kin die, not when part of her felt guilty that perhaps she was the one who had brought Specklefur into this situation. So, she took her littermate, and ran, knowing that her family (the twolegs she was living with) were the only possible option of saving her sister.
This all rides on the assumption that Amberleaf is okay with this narrative, though! (I know it’s a big change, and I never got permission, so I understand and will take it out if that is what others want.) If so, I’ll remove this aspect of the story, and spend a bit more time fleshing out the three new cats who joined SpringClan.
OH MY GOSH I LOVE IT I’ll probably be furious with her at first “you pretending THIS time” but give in. You’re chapter is really good, Dusky!
This is awesome! I love the ideas. Also, I think you portrayed me really well in the scenes I appeared. I’d feel anxious for sure in the fight, and scared, so Eagleflight’s line and me shivering makes sense. And then the ” “Everyone needs to get back,” Skymist meowed sharply, though her voice was quivering. “We can pass blame later.” ” matches me a LOT. Thank you so much!!
