Hey, everyone. I’m very sorry for how long this took to write and I do apologize in advance for how long this is. I do encourage everyone to read it and reflect on it, even if you feel like you weren’t involved. We’ll be approving most of the comments on this page now while still keeping an eye on things. Some comments will remain unmoderated, though, as we feel that they muddle the water further. -Emberdawn

    • I really enjoyed reading this chapter! Sending some hugs to you and your family as you go through this difficult time. I wish your grandmother a speedy recovery <3

It was really great to see Lionpaw’s (your) perspective on everything since your previous chapter ended on a bit of a cliff hanger! The depiction of the rancid twoleg den and rain was really wellwritten- made me feel like I was right in there with the characters! It definitely built on the previous groundwork and suspense, and Lionpaw’s realisation at the end was a great way to end off!

There were only a few things I might ask/suggest:
-Embershine has previously been referred to as Emberpaw, so maybe we could use her apprentice name instead of her warrior name?
-At the start you mentioned a few cars getting captured by the Moonblossom. Does this refer to the events at the end of chapter 24? If so, how did Lionpaw figure out that all of SpringClan was captured?

I’ve also added both your chapter and Wolfpaw’s to the doc (:

      • Thanks Dusky! Question, should we fix the 2nd round of allegiances since those stated that Berz was Embershine?
As for the capture question, Lionpaw is only referencing the Moonblossom gang, not the capture from Wolfpaw’s last chapter!

As for the questions, I’ll try to clarify those in a doc edit! (I can only type on weekends)

    • Excellent work on the chapter, Lionpaw. :]

This chapter was very delightful to read. You described the tense situation of your character in an astonishing and original way. While reading, I felt a variety of emotions like unease, curiosity, surprise, and even humour. Overall, I think Chapter 25 really allowed its readers to immerse themselves in it, awesome job.

By the way, I’m deeply sorry to hear about your family’s situation. Best wishes to you and your family, and I hope your grandmother gets well soon. *Hugs*

Read that! Very good, I’m really sorry about your grandma. Wishing you the very best. ❤️

  • Anyone wanna get their name added l to the wheel? (Aka who wants to write the next chapter?)

Also, I’ll start fixing my chapter errors tomorrow! (If I forget then sorry)

  • Hi ADC Team. (:

I apologise for being inactive last week, I had an important test on the 31st, and the second semester already started for me.

About that art project I mentioned on the last page, it has been completed. It’s an art gallery I made for the art in ADC. Recently, I’ve been building 3D Metaverse platforms and I thought it was a nice way to view the ADC art altogether.

    Here’s the link:
    https://www.artsteps.com/view/66c93036385dcd5469099009?

If you want, please let me know about your thoughts on this, I would definitely appreciate some feedback or constructive criticism. ^^

Also, how is everyone doing? Does anyone have anything interesting to share?

    • I have no words, Shaded. this is absolutely amazing! the way that you can move around and view every adc art piece is stunning. i’m sure we all extremely appreciate how you took the time to make that!

I will be going on a two-week hiatus, starting friday I think. i’m going to be a bit inactive over the school year anyway, blogclan is blocked on my school chromebook 🙁 as for the hiatus, I have a bit of a family emergency irl, causing us to be taking an immediate flight to china. hopefully I’ll be back and active again right on schedule 🙂 and I bet you did amazing on that test 😀

      • that happened to me, too…I have to use a different device now. Maybe you can do the same? I’m sorry about your family emergency, it must be scary and I hope that you’re okay. Sending hugs.

      • (Pretty sure I posted a reply to this comment about 5 days earlier, but it is not showing, both publicly and in moderation mode.)

Hello and welcome back, Pantherpaw. It’s nice to see you again.

Thank you for your compliments on the gallery I made, I’m glad you like it.

As for your real-life situation, I hope you’re doing OK with that family emergency, I hope it’s not anything severe. See you in 2 weeks.

*I saw your comment on the last page after the page flipped, (Apologies for the slow checking there.) and if you’re curious about any ongoing ADC projects or want any related links, I can send you a Google Doc. Feel free to ask. ^^

    • OMG THIS IS STUNNING!!!

Shaded, this is great!!! I love how I can walk around and see everything! It feels like what we’ve done really amounts to something. tangible. It really shows us how far we have come! That must have taken a while to make! (I’m doing well. Spanish class is hard but I’m doing well so far.)

    • Wow, this was really impressive! I really liked the 3D design, and how much it felt like a virtual art gallery! Everything was placed and organized really well, and it was fun to walk through. Thank you so much for sharing this work with the team! (I have no criticism, but I saw a room that looks a little bare at the moment- looks like we’ll have the make more art 😉)

I’m doing alright at the moment, just finished my first week of school. Beyond that, I’ve just been transitioning out of vacation mode and into work mode! My work load looks pretty heavy this year, but I’ll still be popping in a few times a week.

I hope your second semester is going well. (:

      • Thanks, Dusklight. Your support is much appreciated. I think making this was a great experience, designing the space was quite enjoyable. As for the blank area in the gallery, I’m hoping to fill it with more art soon.

Thank you for the good wishes, and best luck with your work as well. (:

    • Hi, Lionpaw. I’m saddened to hear that you are going through this hard situation. I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family. Although I didn’t get a chance to know your grandmother, it really seems like she* was a wonderful person. Wherever she is now, I hope she is in a place of peace and comfort, thinking of you with happiness and love.

It must be stressful that your Chromebook got broken, too. If you’re worried about editing the chapter, please don’t stress out from that. The delay of work is totally understandable, especially in cases like yours, where you have a lot on your shoulders. Take all the time you need to rest and heal.

Please know that I’m thinking of you and wishing you strength. If you’re looking for comfort or support, don’t hesitate to contact me or anyone else willing to help.

      *Lots of hugs* <3

    • *hugs

I’m very sorry for your loss. I hope that you can find comfort in the many years you got to spend with your grandmother, and the happy memories the two of you shared. As someone who has also lost a grandparent to cancer, I understand how difficult and traumatic it can be. If you ever want to talk, I’m here for you.

In this difficult period, remember to take care of yourself, to do activities that are relaxing and that you enjoy. It’s also important to take as much time as you need to grieve, because it’s okay to feel really sad after moments like this.

In terms of your chrome book, I don’t think that any of us are worried about how long it takes for the edits. In fact, the chapter is really wonderful as it is.

I’ll be thinking of you, and I wish your family all the best. Sometimes in grief we can feel alone, overwhelmed, but I hope you know that everyone on this sps is here because they genuinely care for you. *sending many hugs 🫂 *

  • My comment got eaten by the spam monster -_-

1: my Chromebook randomly came back to life when my little sister Petalkit got it back up. Thanks Petal! Tomorrow u might be able to finally edit my chapter.

2: I’m working on a secret project for ADCs 2nd anniversary.

3: comment if you want to be on the wheel for the next chapter!

    • Wow, that’s a lot of good news. ^^ I’m excited to see both the edited version of the chapter and the secret project you mentioned. (:
(Quick question, if your sister Petalkit is editing the chapter, are they joining ADC?)

I don’t think I can write for quite a while, sorry. I have a lot of work to do nowadays due to science school exam preparation. There’s also the fact that I’m significantly inexperienced in writing fiction, so my writing takes a long time and is somewhat low in quality.

      • Looks like there’s a lack of available writers recently. Should we look for some of the members who were active here a few months ago?
(Solarflare, Flamespirit, Embershine, and maybe check if Pantherfrost’s back online?)

      • Petal kit didn’t edit the chapter, she just got the computer to work! It’s okay if you can’t write the chapter, real life comes first.

    • Woo! That’s all great news!! (Thanks Petalkit!) I’m definitely intrigued about the 2nd anniversary project- it’s so awesome that this story has been around that long. If you need any help from me, feel free to let me know! (:

I’d be willing to write the chapter, but if someone who hasn’t gone as recently offers their name, I’d be happy to let them go!

  • hihi guys!! so sorry I haven’t been on here in a while–I’ve been super busy with school and hobbies and whatnot, but I hope to be able to check in on things more often here!!! <3 (props to Shadedheart for reminding me, haha! <3)
would you all mind giving me a recap on the things I've missed? tysm!!!! <3

  • Quick update:

We’re about 1/10th of the way done with our secret project

    School is crazy right now

So yeah, I haven’t been able to have a chance to get on muh but Lioness and I are working hard

  • Holy crap, this thing is still ongoing?!?!?!?!? It’s great to see everyone still keeping it alive, even if I no longer have a part in ADC <33

I felt like this was fitting here, but DO NOT EVER APOLOGIZE FOR NOT BEING INACTIVE DUE TO IRL STUFF. I see so many people ignoring that daily, and I want to remind at least someone that real life ALWAYS comes first. Got a test you need to study for so you'll be inactive? That's not something to apologize for, your grades are more important than a silly online project with people you haven't even met /nm. So, just, remember that.

    • Hiya, Rows! It’s great to see you here after all this time (:

I definitely agree with your sentiment- it certainly is important to prioritise real life events and have balance in life. That being said, this project has brought a lot of people together, and made myself and others feel happy, so I think deeming it ‘silly’ might be a little harsh /lh

    • Hello, Rowanwing. I appreciate how you emphasised that being inactive on online projects due to real life issues is nothing to be sorry for. It’s OK to take time to take care of more urgent issues first. But, similar to Dusklight, I’m not sure calling the project silly or your remark about us being people who never even met each other would be well-understood by a lot of members. /lh

Unrelated but holding myself together with 2 hours of sleep -_- (it’s home room)

  • Hello, everyone! My last comment wasn’t posted, so here’s a repost-

Sols can write the chapter if she’s still interested!

P.S: Work on the secret project is running smoothly and progress is being made.

  • While the secret project and the chapter are being written, I think that something like this should be posted again!

1: What is the best month of the year?
DECEMBER! Christmas decorations are awesome, and I like the weather when it’s cold and all of the plants are dead. /lh

2: Best Halloween house you’ve ever trick or treated at? (or just a memorable one!)
A year ago someone turned their entire house into a haunted house! Being the anxious pathetic scaredy cat I am, I didn’t go in. My little sister Petalkit went, and…she came out terrified, but she said it was really fun!

3: What is your favorite chapter of ADC?
For me it’s close, but Flamepaw’s Chapter 21 takes the cake because I’ve gotten back into hamilton recently

    • Always enjoy answering questions!

      1. I’m in agreement that December’s a pretty great month! There’s fun holidays, time off school, and snow! I also enjoy November (:

      2. There’s this house in my neighbourhood that always goes all-in with their Halloween decorations! They always have spooky music, a movie playing, and lots of candy!

      3. Hmm…. They’re all really good and unique in their own ways. I’d probably have to go with Sols’ in term of my favourite, though! We really got to see the culminating effects of all the tension and intrigue leading up to this point. With the rebel meeting and Springstar’s ominous encounter, it really felt like we were on the brink of a climactic moment!!

    • Great idea posting this. (:

      1. I enjoy December and January. There’s the school festival, where I might be able to perform Taekwondo onstage. And the school year’s finally over and I get to enjoy a lot of time doing what I want, like Taekwondo and studying maths and science.

      2. We don’t celebrate Halloween here in Korea, at least where I live. I’ve never gone trick-or-treating.

      3. It was so delightful to read the more recent chapters now that the story is taking shape. Chapters 22 and 24 were especially enjoyable.

    • 1) any month of autumn 😛 it’s not too cold, not too hot, and mosquitos and bees are all dead so they can’t annoy/scare me anymore 😛 /lh

      2) this isn’t about me, but my friends went to a different neighborhood last year and the house was completely decorated. according to them and the pictures they sent, it looked like they were selling decorations 😛 and when my friends trick or treated there, they gave them a box of cereal which i find amusing 😛

      3) hmm, idk. i do need to catch up on a few more recent chapters, but from what i remember, the chapters that I’ve read were all amazing! i really need to take some time to read them lol

    • 1. May, because it’s such good weather, not too hot or too cold (at least it was like this a couple of years ago, now because of global warming it’s really hot) and I love the life all around

      2. I don’t go trick-or-treating, but there was one I saw that had a tent with a kind of haunted house theme, though it was for kinds so it wasn’t scary

      3. I liked all, I can’t really choose to be honest. I especially like the newer ones because it’s fun to see everything coming together

  • Hi everyone! I took a blog break over the summer, and rejoined about a month ago. I’ve pretty much caught up now with all the ADC chapters and other stuff, and if I’m allowed, can I still work on it? Ty!

Things I want to comment on:
    – Wolfpaw and Lionpaw’s chapters (which I hadn’t read) were awesome, the suspense and action were so good. The one thing had problem with is that in chapter 25, I (Emberpaw/shine) am referred to as a warrior, though I’m an apprentice. Is it possible to change that? (if it’s already been fixed, then sorry for bothering you guys, I’m looking at the doc in the newest fanfiction page comment)
    – The secret project mentioned sounds interesting, can’t wait!
    – I know it’s from over 2 months ago, but Shadedheart, I love the art gallery thing, it’s absolutely stunning and so fun to look at, it reminds me of an art museum
    – I’ve kind of lost track of the plot, can someone give me an explanation for chapters 22-25?

I love the amount of hard work, skill, and dedication has gone into ADC :)) Thank you everyone who has worked on it

    • Hi, Embershine. It’s great to see you back here again, and thanks for the update on your part. I hope to see more of your great work here now that you have returned. (:

Since you said you lost track of the plot, I recommend reading Dusklight’s summary of the recent chapters on the last page. Here’s the link:
      https://blogclan.katecary.co.uk/galaxy-jpg/comment-page-32/#comment-1999100

Here’s some information on some of the older chapters, for further reference.

Chapters 1-10: The BlogClanners/characters wake up as wild cats in an unknown environment. They form a clan, and more cat-turned humans are found as the clan faces challenges in the natural world. In chapter 10, the cats receive a prophecy from StarClan.

Chapters 11-14: Tensions rise in the clan as there are signs that there is a traitor among them. The cats debate on who should lead the clan, and after a vote, it is decided that the leader will be Springshine. Springshine then shares that she received a sign from StarClan claiming that Wolfpaw is the traitor.

Chapters 15-17: Soon after becoming the clan leader, Springstar develops a hierarchy in the clan; Shining ranks. The clan receives another prophecy, and some of the clan begin to question Springstar and her actions as she continues to take control.

Other than that, thank you very much for the compliment about the art gallery I’ve made. I really appreciate your positive feedback. ^^

    • Hiya Ember! Great to see you around – I’m sure everyone here will be happy to have you around!! Erik’s summed up pretty much everything I can think of that’s happened. I also think we’re hoping that Sols will write the next chapter? (Though unfortunately they haven’t been around recently.)

I agree with your last statement – it’s amazing to be part of this project that has been around for so long, and included so many BlogClanners. I love seeing the creativity of everyone on this page (:
