Well, since I missed the previous discussion(yep, totally not fading in and out of existence because my mom will refuse to give me the Wi-Fi password for my laptop), I’ll say that I really liked when Hollyleaf sacrificed her life for(I think it was Ivypool)for another cat, and her death is just so heroic.

I love HollyXFallen! It’s one of my all-time favorites <3
Nope, not really. I feel like she is a strong, independent female character and she doesn’t need a mate. Also, while Fallen Leaves is one of my favorite characters, I don’t ship him with Hollyleaf.
My opinion keeps changing. On one hand she has so many great shipping options, on the other she’s one of the only she-cats to not have had a mate in her lifetime and seems like a the type of cat who doesn’t need a mate to feel happy or fulfilled.
They’re perfect together!

I understand why she did it, but ultimately it wasn’t the right choice. I don’t think it was even really a choice, but more of an emotionally driven act in her depressed and angry state. As much as I think Ashfur deserved it, things would have gone much better if she had told Firestar, even if that meant their secret would be revealed.
Yes. When the secret came out, the environment was controlled by the cats evnvolved, and would’ve caused less chaos
Good point. Ashfur could have caused mass hysteria if he had been the one to reveal the truth.

Are there any characters from other books/movies that remind you of Hollyleaf? Who are they?
She kind of reminds me of Clove or Glimmer from the Hunger Games. They’re all strong, no-nonsense girls who have 100% killed someone. They put their ambition and strength above love but that didn’t stop them from making meaningful relationships
I’ve never read it, but the end does sound like Hollyleaf! It also sounds like Ivypool, too.
Maybe Rex (KOTLC), since he was the only one of Dex’s siblings not to have a power just like Hollyleaf. However, he hasn’t found out yet, so the comparison isn’t particularly stable. Maybe Rayni Aria/Glimmer (also KOTLC), since the scandal with her parents is similar to that of Crowfeather and Leafpool. She also has a similar fiery personality.
