  • Bramblepaw watched as her mentor slid out of the camp, pushing past acornsplash along the way. “What’s wrong?” She asked him.
“Acornsplash thinks we should kill Gorserunner. How rabbit-brained is that!?” Quickwind meowed.
The brown shecat nodded. She rubbed up on her mentor, feeling his soft fur. “It will be okay.”
The sandy tom licked her head. “You think so?”
    “I think so.”
Bramblepaw felt warm inside. She sat with her mentor, purring.

    • Fawnheart padded back to camp, eyes closed. She had left soon after she had spoken to Quickwind. She walked forward and bumped into Quickwind and Bramblepaw. “Oh! Sorry,” She said apologetically, opening her eyes. “Hi, Quickwind, Bramblepaw.” She nervously nodded. “I think I interrupted something,” She meowed looking at the two cats who were sitting close too each other who had obviously just been purring and sharing tongues, disappointment, and sadness in her eyes. “I’m gonna go now.” Fawnheart looked away and she stood there, her eyes closed. I shouldn’t be sad, I should be happy for him, he’s my friend. She turned to go.

      • Bramblepaw eyes darted at the shecat. “Fawnheart! Wait!” She meowed, running toward her. She caught up to Fawnheart and meowed. “It’s – it’s not like that. I’m just comforting him.”

        • “Honestly, it’s, it’s ok. If you two like each other that’s fine. I was just surprised and well I…..” Fawnheart tailed off. It’s not fine! Why do I even bother lying? Everything was obviously not fine. Tears were gathering in her eyes and she was sending off distress vibes. “I hope you’re happy.” No I don’t.

  • Cricketkit looked at her limp paw as she went back to the medicine den. She suddenly worried that she’d have to become a rogue. And that would be worse than being a medicine cat! That would be interesting at least! I’m not even an apprentice yet! She limped over to the nursery with a berry in her mouth. Her mother watched as she pointed to the berry and her limp leg, trying to ask Sweetspark, Will I have to be a medicine cat?
Sweetspark’s eyes filled with tears as she whispered to her mute daughter, “I’m sorry, I’m going to tell (Insert Leader here) that you’re going to be a medicine cat. It’s for your own good.” She choked the last words out and ushered her daughter away

  • Rosesong lied in the nursery, the kits passed out beside her. “It’s going to be ok, Sweetspark.”

    • Sweetspark sighed as she saw Cricketkit limp back to the medicine den. She wouldn’t be able to be a warrior, so this was a way to keep her happy.
Though She isn’t very happy right now.

  • Blossomclaw rested her head on Gorserunner’s side lightly, feeling the slow shallow breathing. She trembled, “I need you…” she whispered, closing her eyes.

    (Sorry, I’m so dull😛)

    • Dandelionpaw –

Glad that Blossomclaw led her through the crowd to Gorserunner, she lay her paw on the tom’s slowly rising and falling flank, and pressed closer to Blossomclaw.
      “It’s just not fair.”
She sighed, wrapping her tail around herself
“What will I do without him ?”

      • “He’ll be okay, Dandelionpaw…” Blossomclaw mewed gently to the apprentice, “He’ll have to…” Her stomach churned at the thought of his cold dead body, and curled up next to him.

  • Bramblepaw burned with embarrassment. “Fawnheart! You don’t understand. I don’t like him! I don’t like anyone – at least not in that way.” She mewed. She won’t understand.. Bramblepaw thought.

  • Sweetspark hesitated as she went to Thistlestar’s den. “Hello Thistlestar? I want to speak with you about Cricketkit.” I need to tell him about making Cricketkit a medicine cat apprentice.

  • ~Everlight and Redleaf~
The two sat together on the edge of the camp, still recovering from the battle. Neither had been too badly injured, but they were exhausted from fighting. “I wish we could just do away with those aweful crazed ShadowClan cats,” Redleaf murmured. Everlight nodded.
“I hope Gorserunner will be alright,” he added. “They were talking about killing him, to save us the trouble later when he’s crazed.”

  • (Shadowcloud asked me to take over.)

Thistlestar pushed herself to her paws with a growl. She nodded to Acornsplash and Quickwind (I think that’s who’s their with?) “As much as I’m up for killing him, he still has a mate and apprentice, and was a very popular warrior. Tonight we shall hold a vigil and a vote for what we should do with him, as well as ceremonies for Ryeclouds litter.”

Acornsplash shook his head. Couldn’t anyone see how dangerous Gorserunner was?

Ryecloud spotted Sweetspark approaching the leaders den. “You’re making Cricketkit a medicine cat?” Without waiting for an answer she barreled on. “Listen. I know us queens are terrified for the safety of our kits… but we do need to give them a fair chance…”

Ivysnow spotted Cricketkit, Ryecloud, and Sweetspark going to the overcrowded leaders den. “What do you need?” She asked, although she knew the answer perfectly well.

Gladekit (Furzekit and mallowkit are asleep in the nursery.) watched his mother and Sweetspark march cricketkit to thistlestar. “No.” He whispered to himself “she can’t be a medicine cat!” 😉

(I have ZERO ideas for Gorserunner)

    • Sweetspark sighed as she whispered to Ryecloud, “She was always upset about being mute. I’d hate to see her self esteem go all the way down.” She stopped as Ivysnow asked her about what they were doing and told her, “I’m asking Thistlestar if Cricketkit can be a medicine cat apprentice.”
Cricketkit’s chest swelled with sadness. Even though she already knew, it was still upsetting for her. She’d heard that while a warrior could become a medicine cat, a medicine cat could not become a warrior. But she realized that it would be better in the long run. After all, what warrior had a whole front leg always dragging on the ground?
Shimmerkit(Yes she still exists 😛) ran to Cricketkit and Sweetspark to comfort her sister. “Hey,” she whispered to Cricketkit. “I bet you’ll be a great medicine cat!”

  • Bramblepaw nodded and turned around. She saw Quickwind slowly padding over. “Tell him yourself.” She replied to Fawnheart, brushing her with heail as she walked back into camp.

    • “Hi, Quickwind. I- I’m sorry for that outburst, and I hope you can forgive me and we can go back to the ways things were,” Fawnheart paused. “And maybe even more than that. I only hope I can be forgiven

      • Quickwind padded forward. “Its okay. Things happen. Me and Bramblepaw are just good friends.” He meowed, resting his tail on her shoulder. He smiled. (If cats can’t do that… iDK anymore 😛 )

  • Thistlestar leaped up onto the ledge where the leaders gave their speeches. “Let all cats gather around Bigrock to hear what I have to say!” She lashed her tail. “As you all know, Gorserunner has been affected by the crazed sickness in shadowclan. Tonight we will decide what do do with him. Any ideas?”

(I don’t know what Clo has planned for Gorserunner, so I’m just gonna put him in a coma?)

Poolstorm touched her friends shoulder. “Stay here.” She murmured. “Take care of him.”

Acornsplash growled. “We should kill him! He’s a threat to us all!”

Gladekit curled up under the ferns, sobbing

    • (Sigh. When I’m trying to have Sweetspark talk to Thistlestar, something happens. No offense to anyone😛)
Sweetspark called, “We should move him to a place where we can watch him but not in camp! Then we can watch him and he won’t infect us!”

      • Blossomclaw heard arguing outside and walked out with bristling fur. “He’s not going to infect any of you, you feather brains!” She snarled furiously at them in a yowl, “ShadowClan isn’t a disease and he was just attacked by a bunch of them! Infections can’t spread to all of you selfish furballs! And Gorserunner is a hero!
He may not be all arrogant like Acornsplash, but he’s a good warrior that now- could have given his life for Cricketkit and the kits! That’s a hero, not some arrogant fox heart! He deserves to live, so SHUT YOUR JAWS and try to save him, not murder him! Or so help me, StarClan!”

        • Sweetspark glared at Blossomclaw. “Well excuse me for thinking of a way that won’t involve killing Gorserunner! And it seems like a sickness! He wouldn’t just suddenly go crazy! And yes, I am grateful that he risked his life for Cricketkit. But I still think he may be infectious!”

  • Thistlestar lashed her tail for silence. “Any other ideas?” If not, grab a stone. She nodded to a pile of rocks in one section of the camp.

Poolstorm looked up. “I heard from a shadowclan cat that the crazed sickness can be talked out of a cat by loved ones. Blossomclaw and dandelionpaw are working on it.”

Acornsplash whipped around. “YOUVE BEEN WITH A SHADOWCLAN CAT?!?!” He shouted. “GREAT STARCLAN, CAN THIS GET ANY WORSE?!?!”

Ivysnow lifted her head. She needed to tell the clan about cricketkit, but not right now.

Ryecloud looked around. “Gladekit, where are you?” She asked tiredly.

(Anyone else want to be a mentor?)

    • ~Everlight and Redleaf~
Everlight wasn’t sure what to think. There was so much going on. He didn’t want Gorserunner to die, but having a crazed cat within the clan… “What do you think,” he murmured to Redleaf.
“Thistlestar will know what to do,” she replied, though she didn’t sound as sure of herself as before.

      • Blossomclaw curled up to Gorserunner and prayed to StarClan, if they still were there, watching over them. Tears bubbled from her eyes.
        ‘Please don’t let Gorserunner die…’

  • Quickwind twitched his whiskers. “Let’s get back to camp.” He meowed to Fawnheart, his heart thumping.

Bramblepaw padded into camp to hear Thistlestar telling everyone to cast a vote. Her heart skipped. I swear to StarClan if they decide to kill him…

  • Okay, hole 1 is where you put your stone if you want to leave Gorserunner where you can watch him outside of camp, hole 2 is where you put your stone if you want to talk the sickness out of his soul, and hole 3 is where you put her stone if you want to kill him. Well go down by rank, beginning with the leader, deputy, medicine cat, senior warrior, warrior, queen, apprentice, and kit.

Thistlestar leaped down and put her stone in hole 3

Poolstorm put her stone in hole 2 with an arch look at acornsplash

Ivysnow put her stone in hole 1

    • Tigerheart puts his stone in hole 1. “But I’ll change to hole three if necessary.”
When it’s their turn, Fawnheart and Blueflower put their stones in Hole 2, Rosesong, Icekit, Sandkit, and River kit put their stones in Hole 1

    • Sweetspark waited with Shimmerkit in the clearing for it to be their turn. Cricketkit was pacing in front of them.
Shimmerkit asked Sweetspark, “What’ll happen if Gorserunner is killed?” Sweetspark just shook her head.
Cricketkit was pacing. She would probably be a medicine cat in two moons, when she became an apprentice, and she wasn’t looking forward to it.
When it’s their turn, they’re all putting their stones in 1

    • Acornsplash snarled, and slammed his stone into hole 3
(Eventually, Ryecloud puts her stone in hole 1, Gladekit in hole 2, and Furzekit and mallowkit put theirs in hole 1

    • Quickwind put a stone in hole 2. He side stepped over as bramblepaw put a stone in hole 1. He felt his neck fur rise, but flattened it. Doesn’t she want him to be okay?

      • Fawnheart appeared behind Quickwind. “Don’t worry, at least it’s not hole 3,” Fawnheart meowed. “Even if hole 1 wins, we can still try to talk the sickness out of his soul, just not as much.”

    • ~Everlight and Redleaf~
Redleaf immediately follows Thistlestar, putting her stone in hole 3.
Everlight, frowning, put his stone in hole 1.
