Dawnpaw rates some of the official Warrior Cats plushies.
Honeyjade gives warrior names and Warrior Cats match-ups to more characters from Survivors.
Quickwind nodded, breathing out. He looked back and stepped to the outer clearing. (Idk what to say lol)
Blossomclaw waited for all the warriors to place their stones, her paws twitching with anticipation.
‘Thistlestar is a cruel and unfair leader…what will she choose?’ She thought, her tail lashing as she heard paw steps behind her.
Lionheart walked up with solemn eyes.
Blossomclaw dipped her head to him. “Oh, hi.”
“Hello…I’m sorry about Gorserunner.” Lionheart mewed to her.
“Thank you. He’ll be okay…he has to be.” Blossomclaw sighed and shuffled her paws on the soil.
Lionheart nodded. “I chose hole two, what about you?” He asked. “Same.” Blossomclaw replied.
“You seem to really care for him.” Lionheart murmured.
“I do. He’s my mate.” Blossomclaw mewed gently.
“Well, let’s pray to StarClan he’ll recover.” Lionheart gazed at the sky.
Blossomclaw looked up. “I’ll pray all day, all night.”
Bramblepaw sat, waiting for the clan to finish voting. She looked over at her mentor, who sat licking his paws. She quickly looked down, then back up at Thistlestar. She dreamed about Gorserunner being taken outside, being watched outside of camp. He’d be in a tree all day.. The disease could over take him…
The brown she-cat brushed a paw over her face. She slithered through the cats to the holes and moved her rock to hole 2. he needs to be okay!
Tigerfur frowned. Why’d that apprentice change holes? Doesn’t she know what’s good for her? he thought
Thistlestar growled. Her clan was a bunch of sedimental idiots! But she wanted to be a fair leader, so she counted the stones quietly then announced, “the winner is hole 1. Tomorrow tigerfur can choose a patrol on his own to find a spot to put him.
Ivysnow lifted her head. “I have a ceremony to preform.” She said. “Cricketkit, come up bigrock.
Poolstorm nudged blossomclaw. “Come on!” She whispered “We need to talk the sickness out of his soul! Lionheart, you can come too”
Acornsplash stomped into the warriors den, angry
Ryecloud sighed. “It’s for the best.”
Gladekits tail drooped. He liked cricketkit, and wanted to get to know her better.
Furzekit followed her mother, but mallowkit reminded her, “aren’t we being made apprentices tonight.?” Ryeclouds eyes widened. “You are!” She began to lick them all fiercely.
Sweetspark looked up curiously. What does Ivysnow want with Cricketkit? Her and Shimmerkit are only four moons old.
Shimmerkit looked over at her sister with concern but nudged her. “Go up,” she whispered.
Cricketkit gulped. She had a feeling about what this was, but felt Shimmerkit nudge her and heard her whisper, “Go up.” She reluctantly went up, dragging her limp with her.
Blossomclaw nodded, bristling at Thistlestar’s answer.
“Right.” She beckoned her tail as the three disappeared into the medicine den. Gorserunner was laying in his nest, unconscious.
(Can Tigerfur and Fawnheart become mentors? Also, Tigerfur needs to become a senior warrior if he isn’t already.)
Tigerfur sits with his tail over his paws. he nodded slightly at the job he was given.
Fawnheart padded over to Quickwind. “I hope things are alright between us?”
Bramblepaw watched as the kits got up on the rock. She yawned, and padded towards the entrance of the apprentice den, waiting outside. now I have to be in the den with these furballs. she thought.
Ivysnow turned to face the clans. “Cricketkits injury prevents her from becoming a warrior. So I will mentor you as a medicine cat apprentice. She leaned down to touch her nose to cricketkits
(Oof I don’t know anything about the apprenticing ceremony.)
Cricketkit felt like there was a stone in her belly. She wanted to look over to Shimmerkit but awkwardly touched noses with her future mentor. This isn’t what I wanted! I’ll never be able to say what I want! Oh, Sweetspark, Why?
Quickwind looked at the brown she-cat. “Of course.” He meowed.
“I was wondering…” Fawnheart paused. “Never mind, now’s probably not the time.”
The Sandy toms ears perked. “Do you wanna talk?” He asked. “We can go for a walk.” ( hey that rhymes 😛 )
Fawnheart shook her head. “I’m pretty sure Ryecloud’s kits are becoming apprentices. I wanna see the ceremony. How about after?”
“Sure.” He replied, turning around to the bigrock.
Blossomclaw glanced warily at the medicine den entrance, and licked Gorserunner’s head. “You don’t know how much we love you, Gorserunner. How much ThunderClan needs you…you are so brave and kind, you’re a hero. Please wake up, we need you more than ever. Thistlestar is leading ThunderClan into trouble and we need you to stand with us.” She murmured in his ear.
Sorry I’ve been in Portland oof
“Fawnheart, you have served your clan with determination and heart. You will be mentor to Mallowpaw.”
“Tigerfur, you are a strong senior warrior with a lot of respect. You will be mentor to Furzepaw.”
“And finally, a lot of the clan has been wondering why my deputy doesn’t have an apprentice.” Thistlestar glowered at her clan. “So Poolstorm, you will be mentor to Gladekit.”
Poolstorm And Gladekit touched noses.
Ivysnow laid her tail over cricketkits back “come with me.”
Acornsplash fell asleep, snoring loudly.
Ryecloud turned and headed into the warriors den. “I’ll miss the nursery.” She thought ruefully. “My kits are so grown up!”
Cinderfall nodded. Now no one can argue about poolstorms rank.
Graygleam (the former skyclan medicine cat.) padded up to ivysnow. “Can I Help?” He asked.
Tigerfur touched noses with Furzepaw and Tigerfur touched noses with Mallowpaw.
Cricketkit gulped and nodded, following the cat that would be her mentor in two moons.
Poolstorm shot an apologetic look at blossomclaw and lionheart. “Sorry you didn’t get one.” “I’m sure you’ll get shimmerkit.”
Thistlestar stalked back into her den.
After dragging Gorserunner into the center clearing, Ivysnow showed cricketkit a small sprig of marigold. “This is marigold.” She said. “It’s the best plant around that can cure infections. We best find it in sunny spots. Take a sniff.”
Cinderfall flicked her tail and began to walk into the warriors den.
Ryecloud gathered clean moss from a tree and made herself a nest in the warriors den, purposely placing it far from Acornsplash
Poolstorm approached tigerfur and fawnheart. “Do you want to take our apprentices out together?” She asked politely.
Gladepaw (autocorrect is having a hard time getting used to the new names.) bounced around his mentor. “Please, please?”
Furzepaw looked up at tigerfur. “What will I learn first?”
Mallowpaw twined her tail with gladepaws. “What will Fawnheart do?” She wondered.
Cricketkit limped over to the marigold and gave it a sniff. It had a strong scent. The best plant for infections, got it
Fawnheart nodded and laughed. “Of course, Poolstorm.”
Tigerheart nodded, his expression revealing nothing. “Let’s show them the territory
Quickwind’s ears twitched as he heard Poolstorm. He turned toward the she-cat, and heard her ask if they could go out. He turned toward Tigerfur and Fawnheart, who were talking with her, and slowly padded backward. He turned and went into the nursery, where Bramblepaw was. “You better make more nests in here for the apprentices. I’ll help.”
Bramblepaw stood up. “Okay, but put them all on that side.” She pointed to the other side of the den, far from her nest. Quickwind chuckled.
“Okay,” he meowed. He began to scrape uo the old moss nests and take them outside.
Before Fawnheart left she padded up to Quickwind. “Hey, I’m sorry we couldn’t go for that walk. I’d love to go after the tour. I’m so excited I got my first apprentice.”
Quickwind turned around. “It’s fine. The Clan comes first.”
As Fawnheart started to walk away, are looked back. “I truly do want to go on that walk though.”
Quickwind nodded his head, seeking to look excited. He didn’t know why he was upset over her getting an apprentice. we can still spend a lot of time together.
Blossomclaw dipped her head. “It’s alright.”
“Come on Gladekit!” Poolstorm called.
All the new apprentices bounced after their mentors.
Ivysnow pulled out another stalk. “This is tansy. It helps coughs.”
Cricketkit sighed. She wasn’t even an apprentice yet, and Ivysnow was already teaching her about all the herbs. I guess getting me ready is important… She sniffed the herb and told herself, Marigold for infected wounds, tansy for coughs
(Btw countering what I said earlier to make everyone’s lives easier this is the forest territories.)
Ivysnow pulled out another leaf. “This is yarrow. It makes cats throw up any poisonous things, so be careful not to overuse it.
Cricketkit gave the white flowers a sniff and after a brief glance around, realized it’d be easy to find it, as there were little plants here like it. She also sniffed it.
“And these last two are poppy seed and borage.” Ivysnow gestured to a pile of black seeds and a bead bundle of leaves. “Borage for fevers and poppy seed to help sleep.”
Poolstorm nodded politely to Fawnheart and tigerfur. “Where should we go first?”
Cricketkit looked at both herbs and nodded. Poppy seeds for sleep, borage for fevers, marigold for infections, yarrow for vomiting, and tansy for coughs.
“We should show them sunning rocks and the training hollow ads go from there.” Tigerfur friendly meowed. ” You ready? “
“Yep.” Poolstorm said. “Okay Gladepaw, were going to sunningrocks first.”
Fawnheart followed Tigerfur and Poolstorm out of camp.
“Let’s stop at the traing hollow first.” Fawnheart suggested.
“It is on the way to Sunning rocks.” Tigerfur agreed
“Okay.” Poolstorm nodded.
“Here we are,” Tigerfur announced. The stopped in a wide sandy hollow. “Welcome to the training hollow.”
“This is where we will be training. Now, off to the Great Oak.” Fawnheart appeared.
