Anything else: I think this story would by good written as a single story, not an arc (those take years to write!) Thoughts/Ideas for Plot: Main Character gets thrown out of his house and is in a School for a while, then some Clan cats come and find him and put him in the Clan
Character ideas: Clans: CharmClan, TreeClan/NatureClan, SunsetClan, CloudClan, and for their ansestors, MistClan. Main Character: Leaf, later Leafspot, and no my favorite character is not Spottedleaf. Protaganists: Leaf, Shimmerkit(CharmClan), and Stonebrook(SunsetClan)

Cover: Maybe a cat in a School yard or place that you can not go, but there’s a window there??
Here are some thoughts! (Ps. This is just a basic script to get some ideas from everyone down)
Intro: 3-5 chapters, based off ch. length?
Leaf is a young cat with big dreams and big ideas, though she has a habit of jumping into things beyond her reach. As a kit, Leaf was raised in the shadows place she calls the Twoleg Playplace (Schoolyard of an elementary school). She lives with her mother (Minty?) and brother (Coco?).
On the first day of school after Summer’s break, Leaf decides that she wants to play with the two legs (about 6-8 moons at this point?) She’s having fun until a big boy starts picking her up and playing with her roughly. Her mother jumps in, and scratches the boy, and suddenly the teachers come and put the cats in cages.
The teachers leave them in a dark room while they call the pound. Leaf is afraid, but her mother manages to pick the lock of their cage, and the three of them escape. Coco is really furious at his sister, though. On the way out, the cats see the pound, and Minty has to push Leaf out of the way, before she and Coco get captured.
Her last words to Leaf are directions to MistClan, and her mother reveals she was once a warrior until she met Leaf’s father. (She followed him recklessly and he abandoned her while she was pregnant). Then, the van drives away, and Leaf is left alone.
*After this we could shift POVs, while Leaf goes on her journey to the clans

Leaf:
-Small grey tabby she-cat with large, bright leaf-green eyes and a fluffy tail
-She is playful, naive, tends to jump into things, likes to help out, but gets nervous in small spaces or when she feels trapped, overly trusting
-Main trait is how much of a dreamer she is, and how easily she bounds into problems without thinking
Coco
-Dark grey tom with white speckles and amber eyes
-Closed off, cautious, shy, very loyal, nervous in large crowds
-He is often upset by how much his mother coddles Leaf, while leaving him to scavenge and be alone, though he doesn’t tell Leaf or Minty this
Minty
-Pale grey she-cat with bright, leaf-green eyes
-Calm, empathetic, loves her kits (though she spends more time with Leaf since the two understand each other better), cheerful even in grim circumstances
-She was formally a clan warrior named Mintspeckle, but she left as a young warrior when an attractive loner (Shade?) started showing up at her border. He manipulated her, and when she realised she was pregnant, he had already run off after a more attractive she-cat
(Genders can change if you want Leaf to be a tom, Autumn!)
Hi! What I thought would be the storyline would be that Leaf, I think would be a yellow/lime tom that has blackish/brownish spots, and alone in a family of like four kids and they had to leave him at the school, they were so poor. He’d find the Clans soon enough. A lot of people mistake him for a shecat
But, we could twist yours and my story ideas, Him with his family, got abandoned, got in a school yard, played with twolegs, and got shut in a cage. His mother would get out, and Coco, brother, is shut in the cage, but not to the pound, he got adopted. And then so and so.
Fun fact: There have been two canon Leafs in Warriors, and they are both rogues. Still, though, i think we should be allowed to use the name Leaf. riiight? I mean, rogue names are really limited.
Woah, I had no idea there were that many Leafs! Not as bad as there being four Robinwings, I guess!😛

Your ideas sound great!! I don’t really want to overstep, especially since you seem to already have a good plan for the plot! If you want to follow your story line, then I’d be glad to help out in whatever way you need me!
Maybe now is a good time to plan out what we want to have happen in the first few chapters (a script that the writers would follow!) Hopefully this is my job as a planner 😛

I’m really excited to be a part of this project with so many awesome BlogClan members! I’ve written a couple fanfics solo, but this is my first team project! Thanks for the opportunity, Autumn!

Here are the answers, though I’m not sure about all of them. And yes, I want to keep some of my storyline but we can mix in a bit of yours.
1. The premise is kinda like Firestar’s, but a bit different, Leaf being a kittypet, or a Softfur in the story, and being in a school for part of the time, then joining the Clans, but everyone’s looking for something to throw him and his mother off gaurd. The climactic event is probably one of these: Leaf and his mother finally find a home, he might get lost in the forest when cats are testing him and gets back, or there could be a big fight or smth like that when he’s new to the Clan, and his Clan beat it.
2. The title One Cat means that Leaf feels alone and he’s trying to fit in, even though his mother is with him.
3. Shimmerkit is a bright and joyful kit until her brother and sister die of Weavechill, a sickness from a rouge that came into camp for a bit. Now she is a kind of depressed kit if you know what I mean, like a kit that sees that bad things can happen in everything. Stonebrook is a young warrior, in his 15th moon, and is happy and chill. He has a scar on his tail, and another one on his muzzle, so he looks scary, but he’s really nice. We already talked about Leaf.
4. I said it in question #1.
5. Idrk tbh. I don’t really know how much people want to write, so it’s a bit questionalbe, but maybe around 18-22???
6. One, they take them in because he doesn’t know how to hunt and stuff.(Maybe his mother is pregnent?? With another cat, a loner called Stone? Or later she gets hurt or smth.) Two, he’s about 6 and a half to 8 moons old. He also gets put into NatureClan after the Rotation, kind of like the Gathering.

How do you want to tie the three perspectives together?
I want to tie the perspectives together by meeting at the Rotation, when no one really wants to sit by Leaf, Shimmerkit is now an apprentice, wandering off at the gathering, and Stonebrook is meeting new warriors as well. They meet and then the Rotation starts, and they sit together for a bit. After the Rotation, there’s a bit of time to get to now each other. Later in the book, there will bet combined things with all the perspectives.
I Just want to say that when I first read the plan for the story I was so confused, like, is Leaf a kittypet? Is he going to kittypet school? HOW DO THEY HAVE SUMMER BREAK?!?! It literally took me around five minutes to realize that you meant the humans going to school. ARGH FWOEPOWEYFH WHY ALSO I HATE THE FACT THAT MY COMPUTER UPDATED AND NOW I CAN’T USE THE SHORTCUTS THAT I USED TO USE
Haha it would be so funny if all of the clan cats were suddenly forced to take school classes though😛
