  • You step through the portal, the sunny meadow replaced by a low hanging tunnel. It’s difficult to see, but you can still make out the shadowy shape of two tunnels. One dips down into the Earth, with torches lighting it’s walls. You can hear the sound of water rippling against the stone walls, and the torch light dances on the surface of dark water.
The second tunnel is unlit. You can see only darkness, and it’s impossible to tell how far it reaches.
“You must choose one,” Lumen says, making you all jump. “Stick together if you want, or split up. It’s up to you, but any faults you acquire will still contribute to this group’s total.

So, take some time to chat among yourselves if you want. Once you decide where your character is going, go to the appropriate secret page.

    • Merlin-

Merlin turned to Jax and Holly. “So which one are we choosing?” he asked, “The dark tunnel seems more interesting to me!” He thought for a moment, “That is… if we’re sticking together…” He gripped his bow tightly, waiting for their answers.

      • Jax-
“It seems like sticking together would be a good idea,” Jax agreed. “I think I’d prefer darkness to water anyway.” He glanced around at the other people, before raising his voice. “I think we should all try to work as a group!” he suggested. “If we collaborate, we’re more likely to defeat the other team, and then we’ll all get those three points.”

        • Merlin-

Merlin smiled, rather pleased. He saw two other people nearby and wondered if they were all going to team up. “I hope we win!” he grinned, “I like winning!”

            • Merlin-

“Yeah, why not!” he smiled and began to walk over to the two people. Why am I being so friendly and cheerful, he thought to himself, this isn’t usually like me!

    • -Kelly-

Kelly shyly approached Kash again. “Er, where do you think we should go?” She felt better being around someone she knew, even if it wasn’t all that well.

      • Kash-
Kash narrowed his eyes, glancing at the two tunnels. “The water one seems … safer,” he mused.

          • Jax-
“Hello!” Jax called as he and Merlin approached the other two. “If you don’t mind me asking, which way are you two planning on going?”

            • I was so confused as to who you were without your profile pic

              -Kelly-

“Er…” Kelly turned towards the elf a little uncertainly. “We’re still discussing. The water seems safer, but that could just be a trick.” She took in a deep breath. It was an adult talking to her, and she was having trouble not panicking. “I think we could go towards the dark tunnel, but stick together, watch each other’s backs.” Her eyes fell downcast in discomfort.

              • Merlin-

“That’s smart.” he nodded. She seemed like an intelligent and useful ally to have on his side. “Who are you? I’m Merlin.” he added, with a small smile. He shifted his shoulder, wincing slightly at the ache from carrying the weight of his arrows.

                • -Kelly-

“Thanks…” I think. Kelly grimaced. “I’m Kelly,” she mumbled, almost inaudible. She felt like she had lost all her confidence in less than two minutes. She fiddled with the sleeve of her hoodie, trying desperately to keep herself from making eye contact.

                • Merlin-

“Nice to meet you Kelly, then.” Merlin said, slightly flatly. He noticed how uncomfortable she looked and wished he had a better idea of human emotions. “So does that mean we’re taking the dark tunnel?” he asked, fiddling with the soft material of his scarf.

                • (Ripp, I forgot about this, sorry 😛 )

                  Aria –
Aria followed Jax and Merlin, scowling. Personally, she preferred darkness to water because of her experience slinking through the shadows in Cael, but she didn’t like the idea of sticking together. She did her best work when she was alone. “I’m Holly,” she grunted to Kelly.

                • -Kelly-

Kelly dug her toes into the ground, trying not to flinch back from the small crowd of people that had gathered. “Hi,” she said weakly.

                • Merlin-

“Are we going then?” he asked, an impatient tone to his voice. He fiddled with his scarf some more. People had never been his strong point and like Kelly, he was rather nervous, though he didn’t show it.

                • Aria –
Aria rolled her eyes, her irritation growing. They were wasting time. The other group must be far ahead of them already while they were standing around talking. “You goody two-shoes can do whatever you want,” she hissed. “But I’m going down the dark tunnel.” She pulled her hood over her head, casting long shadows on her pale skin. Her midnight blue eyes glimmered in a menacing sort of way. “See you on the other side.” She turned around and faced the seemingly endless void of darkness. She took a deep breath, a little hesitant. You’re not scared of the dark, she chided herself. Still, she was a little reluctant to venture inside as her eyes followed the movements of shadowy figures. Clutching at her courage, she stepped inside the long tunnel.

                • Jax-
“What a little ball of sunshine,” Jax muttered with a sigh, frowning. “Shall we then?” he asked, gesturing towards the dark tunnel. “Wait up, Miss Prickly!” he called cheerfully, heading off down the dark tunnel, whistling to himself.
                  (To the other page then?)

                • Merlin-

Merlin darted into the tunnel, close behind the others, smoothing his scarf as he went.
