  • Mildewpaw had suffered a few injuries from the badger attack, but she was already back on her feet. She’d fought with all of her strength to drive them out- and now the tiny apprentice had nothing to do. Her mentor had perished in the attack and been buried; she wanted to talk to the leader about getting a new one, but figured it was a bit too soon for that.

    She ducked her head, a bout of sorrow coming over her as she thought of her mentor. They had been a strong, brilliant warrior that she’d learned a lot from.

        It had been a few days,and Eagleflight’s foot had started to heal. She was still limping a bit,but not as bad as before. The she-cat padded over to Dragontalon, hearing his words to Mildewpaw,she nudged him with her shoulder. “Everyone fought hard during the attack,don’t brag.” She then turned her focus to the apprentice in front of them.

        “Losing your mentor must have been hard. Just know that they’d be proud of you,and you will be a wonderful warrior some day.” Eagleflight wanted to be Mildewpaw’s new mentor,but she doubted that would happen. She was a fairly new warrior,and there were plenty of other,more experienced cats to train her.

        • “What?” He looked back modestly. Then saw eagleflights longing at mildewpaw. He smiled and walked over to dappledstar.

        • The she-cat looked wide-eyed to Dragontalon, then to Eagleflight. She perked her ears.

          “Thank you!” she peered up, shocked at the praise. The warrior’s words inspired a sense of longing within her, a strong memory of the cat she’d called her mentor. She knew she’d carry them in her heart and remember the things they’d taught her… but they couldn’t teach her anything from the grave. She felt herself wishing for one of them to mentor her- Dragontalon was talented but with a bit of a superiority complex… while Eagleflight was level-headed and had a sense of newness to her. She smiled. She’d be more than happy to have either, and knew she’d devote herself to her training. I’m going to be the best warrior Iceclan’s ever seen. I’ll make you proud, I promise.

  • as the days passed the camp was starting to recover. cypress looked up at the moon xyer lithe body sitting neatly next to dappledstar her wound almost healed. “looks like the gatherings tommorow” xe meowed looking p at the almost throbbing moon.

  • Hello! I’m going to do this every week or 2 for cats who just joined and need to catch up!

    So basically I’m putting all of the events in days here so far it has been 2 days for every clan and is the morning of the third

    Day 1
    -badgers attack the camp!(daplledstar and rainwater are at the prey pile when maplepuddle comes in saying theirs badgers, they come charging into camp. Half-hearted hears the crystal and leaps onto a Badger calling for maplepuddle to watch out and to get the medicine cat tey agree. Cypress hears the distress and rushes over with some herbs skirting through the battle and applying marigold to the wounds but before xe can get to maple xyr nocked back by a badgers paw and was flung to the opposite side unconscious. Halfheart yowled but saw two badgers cornering some cats she clawed them away but fell back she regained her strength and rushed over to cypress asking if xey are OK. Xe groaned but nodded. Meanwhile dragontalon slashed at a badgers face his eyes lit in excitement and confidence. As for dappledstar maplepuddle and rainwater fighting off some badgers.)——
    -cypress runs out of camp to a small waterfall(cypress slipped out of camp avading battle and stops at a small waterfall xe puts xyr paws in and closes xyr eyes then jolts up spring back to camp. Xe raced to dappledstar and told her about the boulders above camp)——they climb up the side and push the rocks down crushing the badgers and the rest flee

    Day 2

    -Dragontalon pinepaw and eagleflight fix up the dens and search for any remaining badgers
    -cypress treats dappledstar who has a lump in leg
    -cypress gets a prophecy about fire and they prepare for the gathering tommorow—–
