I really like England, and I have a problem with my class mates speaking American English in English class ;-;
I don’t have much of a problem when I hear an adult speaking American English, but for some reason I hate it when a child speaks American English??
It really annoys me, that I don’t like kids speaking American English ;-;

What do you classify as ‘normal English’? British English?
i mean i’d say it is, because english originates from England, so british english is the more original form of it
I actually don’t know, since I’m from America, and the only english is American English and people sounding really dumb trying to do a british accent.

I can do it fairly well, I believe. Though my voice does get all soft and delicate-sounding, and a bit higher in pitch. For anyone who has heard the Wings of Fire audiobooks on Epic!, I sound a bit like Clearsight.

All the NightWings except Starflight and Moon have accents in the WoF audiobooks.
American English uses different words and sounds different:)
Okay.
I’d say that British English is more French-influenced with more French-sounding words that are also spelt the way they look in the French language.
American English is more literal in their spelling and pronunciation, plus they use some German words in their vocabulary due to a lot of Americans having German ancestry.
Canadian English is a mix between the two.

As an actual Bri’ish person, I am disappointed in your portrayal of us Brits.

A man bought a cup of coffee in a restaurant and was about to take a sip from it when he noticed there was a fly in the coffee. “Waiter! Bring me a new cup of coffee.” The man called. The waiter took the coffee away and soon returned with another cup of coffee. As soon as the man took a sip out of the coffe, he knew immediately that it was the original cup of coffee, just without the fly. How did he find out?

Maybe the man added sugar to his coffee before it was taken away, and when he took a sip after it was brought back he noticed it was sweet, thus was the same cup of coffee?
