(about time I do one of these 😛 )

Hey there, new members! I’m Rainpaw (warrior name Rainleaf, Tribe name mentioned above) and welcome to BlogClan! I’ll just quickly skim over some things.

*As you have probably noticed, there’s a translucent black tab on the top of every page. I recommend you go through all of the pages listed under the dropdown menus Need Company? and Feeling Creative?, because that’s where a lot of mainstream stuff (apart from discussion about the Warriors books; those are mainly on fan articles and spoiler pages) goes on. Note that discussion on the Tavern tends to go very, very fast 😛
*To chat on the Cbox (Live Chat) you need an account (enter a name and click profile, and if it isn’t taken, it’ll require you to create a password) and you have to make sure that chat’s been opened by a moderator. To do this, you can just see if new messages are coming constantly in.
*At the bottom of every page, there’s a series of links. Explore BlogClan leads to some of the most used and well-known pages on BlogClan. Beyond Our Borders links you to our flickr gallery, deviantArt group, a debates thread on our wikia, the BlogClan 2 Wikia (the first one died, so Flowerstream, a lovely person and moderator, created another) and Kate’s Facebook page (I think? It’s the only link I’ve never clicked xP) In Useful Links, the only really useful links are BlogTeam Sign In and possibly BlogClan’s Abandoned Camp – if you’re interested in seeing it, of course 🙂 BlogTeam Sign In is generally only meant for BlogTeammers (people who basically run the blog by moderating comments and fan stuff – our BlogTeammers are Kate, Hazelburrow (Kate’s son, whom some of us call Josh) Jayfrost, Flowerstream, Flame That Shines Like Sun, ShiveringRose, Iceflower, Cypresswind, Emberdawn, Russetfeather and Snakepaw/fang) but most of us also use it to sign into our own BlogClan WordPress accounts – you can create one by clicking the link, clicking Register and doing everything according to the instructions. Note that your account is only valid for the domain blogclan.katecary.co.uk 🙂
*You’ll encounter people using bolded, italicized and crossed out text here. To do them, just do this:

“Some pages are hidden. We call them secret pages and claim them as neutral territory or for secret Clans. You can join more than one secret Clan if you so wish – just try to find their pages 😛
*The biggest debate on BlogClan is geese vs fowlshamers. If you decide to join the wiki, this might crop up extraordinarily often, so a little insight helps ^^
Last year, Wollow (Willowpaw/light) and Lup (Lupinepaw) co-founded a secret Clan called GooseClan, and I annoyed them a bit – it led to my getting ‘targeted’ by them, and soon three or four other BlogClanners also disagreed with GooseClan and effectively started what we call ‘fowlshamers’. In the meanwhile, the majority of BlogClan (who get involved in this) are GooseClanners. Basically, we hold opposing views on fowls in general.
