How hot/cold does it get in your region during summer/winter, and how well do you cope with it?
The up and downs are quite extreme ;-; In the summer it gets really hot and unbearably humid, while in winter it can get freezing. (I’m sure you can relate to some degree since we live in the same country) I’m fine with the cold, but I can’t stand the combination of hot and humid😭 Air conditioning is my savior
I’m in the northern Midwest of US, so it gets pretty cold in the winter! I don’t mind it, though.
It can get very hot during summers (we never stay in our region during summer) but winters are nice
I live in Virginia, and surprisingly the weather can be a lot 😛 in winter it usually snows a bit and drops to the single-digits and in summer it usually gets to the 90s and doesn’t rain a whole lot in july/august which makes it even hotter😭 for the most part I handle the weather decently, however I’m much worse at handling the hot weather, especially since I get sunburn really easily🫠
Doesn’t really get super cold where I live, the coldest on average is about -5°C, general average is in the 10s, although it’s been getting hotter in summer. We’ve had a couple one-off 40°C days the past couple years, with streaks of 30°C+ days, which isn’t awful in theory, but houses in the UK aren’t commonly equipped with air conditioning, so I just have to melt

It can get pretty hot in the summer, up to 105 F (40 C), but the winters are fairly mild compared to some other places I’ve been, it typically doesn’t get below 15 F (-9 C). I’d say I cope with it pretty well, since I grew up here and I’m used to it.
Summer temperatures are in the hot and humid range in my area. Thankfully we live in a house with air conditioning [more specifically there is a room that came with a window AC unit installed, the second I discovered that I was like ‘yup this room is mine’ and kinda claimed it] but for a while we lived in a place without a working AC and OMGGGGG it was unbearable 😛 Even with fans 😛
Winters get freezing here but thankfully that’s easier for me to cope with then the cold. I have a set of very warm clothes that usually work well against the cold, and if its especially unbearable I just cozy up next to a heater 😛
in the winter it’s usually 15-35 degrees farenheit, and in the summer it’s usually about 75-90! so a pretty wide range of temperature here in michigan 😛 i cope well, i think!
in new york, winter definitely gets cold. our average low is usually under 20 degrees f, and our average high is definitely under 40 degrees f. 30-40 degrees is a miracle in the winter T-T in summer, our highs are around 60-70/80 degrees f and lows are around 50-60
summers are amazing imo, considering our mild temperatures. winters, on the other hand… 😛 i despise the cold lol. but i guess i cope decently with the climate where i live
In Sweden it really varies!! However where I live we usually get like, not much colder than -10°C (14 fahrenheit) in the winter and in the summer not much warmer than 30°C (86 fahrenheit) but if you go to the north of Sweden then daaaaang that’s cold

Nowadays the temperature is usually around the 20s – 30s in the early morning, 30s – 40s when we wake in the mornings, and 40s – 50s in the afternoon lol (in Fahrenheit, in Celsius it goes as low as -1)
100 degrees (f) in the summer, usually, and a steady 70 degrees any other time of the year! I cannot survive the summer without air conditioning and I still can’t usually cope with other times of the year :p
So I probably don’t cope very well
the coldest around here is 30 ℉ (-1 ℃) and the hottest about 116℉ (47 ℃). i’m good with it being hot, it doesn’t bother me much, but I hate the cold TwT
usually about 90 most of the week in the summer and in actual winter about 20 degrees on average (all temperatures in Fahrenheit) and I cope with the cold pretty well and rarely need a coat but in the summer I die every time I have to go outside
out here in california the weather is pretty temperate, especially since im right by the beach! the in winter it gets as low as 40 degrees and in the summer it can get up to 90!

Comparing to everyone else’s replies, I think it’s pretty much moderate where I live. Summer temperatures are about 30-38 degrees Celsius, with high humidity. It’s about (-9) – 3 degrees in winter, while being pretty dry. My body copes with extreme weather pretty well, but I make it harder for myself by refusing to wear shorts and virtually always wearing loose trousers.
They’re pretty measured (winters are decently cold, summers are warm), but it’s been getting hotter up here lately in summer

Has anyone ever misinterpreted tone tags / abbreviations when they were young?
For me, I thought /nm was “nevermind” (as in, being dismissive.) And I thought brb was pronounced “bruh-br-brrb”

Waking up for school in the morning
When I was a kit I assumed I could swim all the way to the deep end of the pool without my floaties, despite the fact that I’d had no prior swimming instruction. Idk what was going through my head. I must’ve thought I was a deep diving whale or maybe god. Idk. But let’s just say my venture didn’t go as planned and I nearly drowned 😛

Writing a book 😛 there’s a lot involved
Making new friends in school, biology tests, every drawing I’ve made ever 😛
Writing. 8-year old me just thought “oh, if I get a really good idea, I can just run back home and grab a notebook!” But 10-year old me (now) now knows it’s much harder than just scribbling down ideas and it turning out like a published book. 😛
