I’m not really a shipper but I like Squirrel x Crow. I think it makes more sense than Leaf x Crow. The authors could’ve easily written it in during their journey to the sun drown place like they did with Crow x Feather and Squirrel x Bramble. I’m pretty sure all that happened with Lefpool and Crowfeather was him saving her from falling but I haven’t read the second half of TNP so I’m not sure what exactly happened. But Squirrelflight and Crowfeather are two of my favorite characters which is probably why I ship them.
