Everyone is special in their own way, if you can’t do one thing don’t be sad! There are so much you can do, and can’t. So much it doesn’t even matter, believe in yourself! This is for people like me who are very good at doubting their self, but don’t look into what’s good.

I remember hearing about a story where there was this bird who envied the other animals because they found the one thing that they were good at and the bird didn't know theirs.
The otter could swim, the beaver could build dams and the chameleon would camouflage, but the bird didn't realise that every animal is different and has their own strengths and weaknesses that make them who they are. The bird thought and thought until it remembered about its wings and said, 'I wonder what these can do,' and so the bird found a hill and ran and ran until it reached the edge and leaped, its wings outstretched.
To the bird's amazement, they didn't fall, but glided in the air.
All the other animals looked up in awe and cried 'Look, you're flying!' and the bird then realised what it was meant to do all along.
Basically, everyone is different, and not everyone says the same words, does the same actions or thinks the same ideas.
You're unique. Show the world who you are and what you care about, and they will eventually see the good things that they did not realise about the world, or even themselves.
Be yourself and do the things you want to do, and you can change the world, even in little ways. 🙂

I celebrated this New Year’s by starting to watch Hunger Games (which I absolutely love now) and staying up until 3am to finish said Hunger Games film. I also got to go on BlogChat for a bit so that was nice! 🙂

I want to say something about Dusklight.
Dusklight was always there for me.
When nobody else would respond to me, they did.
They are always super kind.
Dusklight motivated me to keep going when I felt;
“I’m not good enough!”
“There are so many people better than you!”
“You won’t be heard over your sister’s pawsteps.”
“The world hates your weirdness and nothing will change.”
Dusklight turned my thoughts to these:
“You are good enough.”
“This is only the beginning.”
“Your sister started off like this too.”
“It’s your uniqueness that matters. The people who see your beautiful heart will know your true likeness.”
So I want to say:

So we got new chair placements in band. And guess what?
I’m now the 3rd chair clarinet player!!! 😀
Now I know what you’re thinking: “But Roselet, wouldn’t being 1st chair clarinet player be better than 3rd chair?”
The truth is yes, it would be nice to be first chair. But I’m actually really happy with my chair placement.
For the whole semester I was playing 2nd part (4th-9th chairs). But now that I’m 3rd chair I finally get to play first part annnnd sit in the front row! 😀 😀 😀 I’m so happy!

I think my favourite school subject is probably either Geography, History or Chemistry!
Geography because it’s really interesting and also my teacher and class are lovely, History because it’s absolutely fascinating and I love learning about it, and Chemistry because my teacher is amazing and makes it really fun and easy 🙂 What about you?
I like math, and orchestra!
I love that art! My fav school subject is literacy/reading and writing. Because I love all the activities and it’s super engaging and fun!
