You will be receiving Part 16 as a Sketch Artist! You are responsible for outlining the page and sketching out each panel, as well as helping storyboard and compose the page design.
Your chapter section (https://blogclan.katecary.co.uk/2013/07/21/trailing-stars-chapter-2-by-wolfpaw/) prompt begins from “As soon as she spoke they all froze…” to “…“Foxes!” Dawnmist yowled” in Chapter 2.
Summarize the section to make it easier for you to storyboard. If you need any help with this, let us know!
Sketch Artist Page Guidelines
Rule number one is: good communication! Please let us know if anything comes up that might cause delay – you are allowed a one week extension, and if you are still unable to complete your part, you can pass on it for now and get assigned a new part at a later time 🙂
Style: Feel free to utilize your unique style! Please follow the official character references as closely as possible, as shown in the spreadsheet attached on the TSGN Resources.
Schedule: Your full schedule is 2 weeks long, and starts July 1st, though you can certainly start your part before then. We will be checking in as follows to make sure it’s coming along nicely!
– Your first week check-in (ONLY CHECK-IN) will be for the completion of the page’s composition – July 8th
– Your part should be complete by July 15th
– All roles are allowed an extension of 1 week – please let us know ASAP if you need one!
Besides these guidelines, please make sure to follow the rules and directions posted on the TSGN Resources page (https://blogclan.katecary.co.uk/trailing-stars-graphic-novel-tsgn-resources/) as well!
You may work ahead of pace as much as you want, but please don’t fall behind! ❤️ Let us know if you have any questions or need any help!

hi rainpaw, thanks for letting me know – however, i would have preferred having a notice of your need earlier 🙂 i saw your comment on the hug page about needing to leave the blog until september – unfortunately, we can’t wait that long for your part. will you be able to finish and communicate your part to me by july 22nd? if not, i’m going to have to reassign your part since the line artists depend on having a sketch to do their part – please give me a reply anywhere on the blog by thursday!
