Witheredshadow is a broad shouldered, muscular tom. His fur is dark brown, with darker stripes and he has a white ear, white legs, white tip on tail, and one white spot on his upper left shoulder. His fur is tangled and very long making him appear bigger than he really is. He has a triangular face one of his eyes are amber while the other one is blue. Witheredshadow has many scars including a scar on his muzzle. He is considered fearsome and handsome by most, especially in his own Clan.

Witheredshadow values power the most. He is slightly more extroverted. In conversations, he is loud, amiable and sarcastic. He is guided by his heart, often temperamental and fiery. His world view is very negative. He is hard-working, disciplined, demanding, sneaky and sly. Witheredshadow is of high intelligence, which reflects in his decisions, skills and conversations. His favourite season is new-leaf. Witheredshadow opinions are easily swayed, but he speaks about them often. He would like a mate and kits, He dislikes the Medicine Cat Code and thinks that some of its restrictions are pointless.

Witheredkit was born to his father, Fallowbelly and his mother, Flowerfall along with his brother, Rowankit. His relationship with his brother was going badly, he was bullied by Rowankit. Fallowbelly was kind, while Flowerfall was nice. Witheredkit was close to both of his parents. He often challenged an apprentice called Icepaw to various hunting and fighting contests. Due to her age and training, Icepaw won almost all of them, so Icepaw felt like she was superior to Witheredkit and was very mean to him. This created a dislike between them. During his childhood, Witheredkit loved playing tag with the other kits in the nursery.
Witheredkit reached the age of an apprentice and became Witheredpaw. He received Quicklight as his mentor. She was tough on him, but always had Witheredpaw best interests in mind. Quicklight mostly focused on running while somewhat neglecting hunting. After Witheredpaw and Icepaw became apprentices, their rivalry seemed too childish to continue. Their relationship never improved by much, but they stopped insulting each other.
Witheredpaw became a warrior at the same time as Rowanpaw. Witheredpaw became Witheredshadow and Rowanpaw became Rowanmask. Rowanmask fell in love with a friend called Flintstone some time after becoming a warrior, but he never did anything about it and they remained friends. Rowanmask ate deathberries by accident, confusing them for another kind of berry. Witheredshadow in his sadness did get an apprentice with the name of Fallingpaw.
