WARRIOR’S DEN
Lillypetal-
“Goldenfether!!!” she yelped with no breath, “I just went into BoneClan territory!”
Lillypetal-
She slowly shook her head as she left the warrior den, for Goldenfeather had already moved on to the nursery
APPRENTICE’S DEN
I don’t know how this works entirely but I’ll try
Cloudypaw-
Cloudypaw nervously opened one eye, and upon seeing the other apprentices gone, slammed their eyes shut again. “No WAY am I getting up” they thought. They drifted back off into sleep.
Shadedpaw stretched, her limbs sore from being cramped in the den all night. She sighed before ducking out of the den.
A light sprinkle of rain dusted the ground, she groaned as she looked down to it; she’d never been good at staying balanced on slippery grounds.
NURSERY
Goldenfeather-
“Foreststripe!” she exclaimed, “I can’t believe you came back from that patrol without a single scratch!” Her kits were coming back to the nursery and the sun was setting. Fernkit and Foxkit jumped into her nest. Goldenfeather looked at her kits then had a feeling in her stomach, boneclan would attack. “Go in the ferns and stay quiet” she told her kits with a quiver of fear.
ELDER’S DEN
LEADER’S DEN
Ravenflight
Lizardstar! I-I, ummm
Forget about it, you’d never believe me anyways,
nobody would believe me
except GoldenFeather
MEDICINE DEN
Tyrantleaf-
Tyrantleaf silently sorted herbs
(Open for interaction!)
Parsleydust padded into the den, glancing around until she found the medicine cat.
“Tyrantleaf, would you mind helping me with something?” her voice was meek, almost as if she was ashamed at asking for help. She wasn’t the strong warrior she had once been.
Ravenflight-
T-tryantleaf? he murmured,”My leg hurts, again”
MAIN CLEARING
Lizardstar-
Lizardstar lay in the clearing, staring up at the clouds. His brown-and-white patched pelt, once glossy and thick, was now ragged and thin, his ribs creating stark ridges along his sides. The prey was running terribly since the arrival of the Dark Forest cats, and he didn’t know how much longer any of the Clans could last. Apart from BoneClan, of course- the wraith-like cats that wreaked havoc upon the other Clans were on BoneClan’s side, after all. He sighed, resting his head wearily on his paws and closing his eyes for a moment.
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw padded out of the apprentice den and noticed his mentor laying down in the clearing, next to where the fresh kill pile would usually be. The Dark Forest cats had been eating all of it and now Clan cats were starving. Except BoneClan, a place of monsters as everyone called it but Pinepaw wasn’t sure that was true, after all, Lizardstar, his leader and mentor, had been born there. He walked up to Lizardstar, “Maybe we should go hunting and restock this measly thing?” He suggested, flicking his tail at the pile.
Lizardstar-
He jumped slightly, startled at his apprentice’s sudden appearance. Blinking, he glanced at the fresh-kill pile worriedly. He nodded, getting achily to his paws.
“Sure, Pinepaw- that’s probably a good idea. I’m sure we’ll find something if we look hard enough,” he mewed. “Or at the very least, we’ll find some strengthening herbs or something to keep everyone’s chins up.” He smiled, starting off towards the exit.
Icesnout-
The old tom lifted his head, watching Lizardstar and Pinepaw as they started off towards the bramble tunnel.
“You two be careful, please,” he rasped, suppressing a cough. Under his breath, he added, “I don’t want to lose either of you like I lost Frogstar.”
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw followed his mentor out of the camp, pausing to flick his tail in acknowledgement to Icesnout.
(Does ThunderClan share a border with BoneClan? Is BoneClan where SkyClan would be? Thanks 🙂 )
Snowrunner-
Snowrunner sat in the center of the camp, fervently sending out the days patrols. It had been a few moons since the BoneClan ambush that had killed Honeypaw and Swiftfire, leaving her to lead ThunderClan under Lizardstar, but the memory was still fresh in her head. It had been the worst day of her life, and the last day of her apprentice’s. She shivered at the haunting memory.
“We’d better send out two patrols near BoneClan, just to be safe.” She announced, choosing seven cats to watch the border nearest to their rivals. “And keep an eye out for Lizardstar and Pinepaw; they still aren’t back from… Whatever they’re doing…”
I don’t even know where they are! Snowrunner realized with a jolt. It’s my job to keep track of every cat; how did I lose the most important person in our Clan? Again, she couldn’t help but question Lizardstar’s decision to make her Deputy. She could feel every mistake she had made so far like a claw mark, no matter how small the mistake was. Just yesterday, I forgot to send out border patrols entirely! If Firestorm hadn’t pointed it out, we might have gone the entire day without checking our territory once! Oh, Swiftfire… Why did you have to sacrifice yourself for me? You always looked out for every cat; even when meant risking your life… Or even losing it.
Snowrunner finished sending out the patrols, still convinced that she would never live up to her position.
Pinepaw-
As he padded into camp, he glanced around, looking for someone to help.
Roseshade-
Roseshade looked up from the camp wall where she sat fixing holes. Her eyes widened as she saw Lizardstar and Pinepaw. “What happened?” she asked even though she knew it was probably from a BoneClan or Dark Forest cat.
Ever since Swiftfire had died, the she-cat buried herself in work. Anything that needed to be done,Roseshade was on it. It was easier than facing the deaths from the BoneClan attack. Dying as well would have been easier than going on without her friend.
Pine paw-
“Dark Forest cat.” He responded around a mouthful of feathers, spitting out the robin. “We got prey though.” He added.
Roseshade-
Roseshade quickly walked over and sniffed the wound on Lizardstar’s leg. “You should let the medicine cat look at that.” she then looked at the bird. “The queens and kits will like it.” she murmured. She had always wanted kits, but it didn’t seem like the best time to raise a family.
Pinepaw-
He nodded slightly. “I’ll put it down on the pile, I don’t think he wants to see the medicine cat though.”
Roseshade-
Roseshade glanced worriedly at the leader, but still nodded.
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot slipped into Thunderclan camp, xyr ghostly form invisible among the shadows. Xe would rather bother the clan cats than watch xyr own former clan demolish Riverclan.
Whiskers twitching in amusement, xe slipped into view beside the fresh kill pile, and placed the shrew xe had been carrying down. Xe wondered how long it would take before someone noticed xem.
Lynxshard-
I wonder what will happen to RiverClan, she thought with an internal sigh. BoneClan will probably just attack one of their patrols, nothing more. Now that RiverClan knows, they’ll watch out for it. Carefully keeping herself invisible, she watched as ThunderClan went about their day. With a gasp, she spotted a shrew appearing by the fresh-kill pile. Another Dark Forest cat… who helps the Clans?
Snowrunner-
Snowrunner was so deep in thought after her leader’s return that she managed to stare directly at the Dark Forest cat without noticing xem.
At least Lizardstar is safe; I don’t think I could handle being made leader in his place. She blinked slowly, heavily considering her position in ThunderClan. Maybe I’m lucky that I’m only a deputy. It’s possible that might change one day, and I am forced to become something more… She shuddered at the thought of Lizardstar losing his final life, leaving her to take care of the Clan in his place. I’m not ready yet… But… Maybe I need to be. He chose me for a reason, after all.
She tilted her head as a new possibility struck her, and she narrowed her eyes
glaring at someone she hasn’t yet noticed 😛in consideration.Maybe I don’t need to live up to Swiftfire. Maybe I don’t need to replace Lizardstar. I just need to be there for my Clan, helping them through whatever trials they may face that day. Isn’t that what leading really is? She nodded absent-mindedly at the thought, starting to come to terms with her responsibility.
Maybe… Maybe I’m enough for that.
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot waited expectantly as a cat walked towards xem, her eyes resting directly on xem. Xe was looking forwards to seeing if Thunderclan was friendlier than Shadowclan had been, but as the other cat’s eyes narrowed into a glare, Dashfoot began to doubt that would happen.
Xe waited for the Thunderclan cat to speak. And waited.
What is this? Dashfoot wondered, xyr pelt prickling uneasily under the cat’s gaze. Xe glanced over xyr shoulder, trying to see if their was anything more interesting than xem around that she might be looking at instead.
Are we having staring contest? Is this some sort of strange clan cat ritual that I didn’t pick up on in Boneclan?
The cat nodded, almost as if she had read xyr thoughts. Bewildered, Dashfoot decided to stare back.
Lynxshard-
Creeping closer, keeping her pelt hidden in the shadows, Lynxshard could finally make out this other cat. Dashfoot? He was staring at the ThunderClan deputy, and she was probably just thinking to herself and staring off into space… I think…but Dashfoot didn’t look like he knew that. Lynxshard bit her tongue, as falling out of trees laughing didn’t seem like the prime example of stealth.
Snowrunner-
Coming out of her trance, Snowrunner found with some alarm that she was staring a Dark Forest cat dead in the eyes. Bewildered, she waited for the ghostly cat to attack, disappear, or otherwise cause trouble; but to her surprise, xe did nothing of the sort. She remained silent for a few moments, then decided xe was waiting for her to speak first.
“Greetings,” Snowrunner meowed, keeping a careful eye on the poltergeist, “I’m Snowrunner; ThunderClan’s deputy. What brings you to our camp tonight?” She kept an air of authority and curiosity about her, deciding it would be best to identify the other cat’s intentions before she made any decisions.
Roseshade-
Roseshade jumped at bit when she heard Snowrunner’s voice,as she was deep in thought. She followed her gaze, not sure who she was greeting. The fur along her spine rose when she saw the cat. Xe were almost see through, confirming her thoughts that it was a Dark Forest cat. Forcing her fur to lie flat, she carefully watched xem, praying xe wouldn’t atack.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw spun around at the deputy’s voice, startled to find a cat sitting by the fresh kill pile who had definitly not been there before. She kept her fur flat, but tensed, ready to fight if the ghost attacked.
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot twitched, startled when the deputy spoke, bringing an end to the impromptu staring contest. Does that mean I win? xe wondered, if that had even been what they had been doing.
“Boredom, mostly,” xe replied, “And a bit of curiosity, I suppose,” Dashfoot continued, rising to xyr feet and trotting towards the warriors den. “Don’t believe I’ve ever seen the inside of Thunderclan camp.”
Snowrunner-
“That doesn’t surprise me; we make a point to keep the Dark Forest out of our home.” Snowrunner meowed matter-of-factly, following xem to the warrior’s den. “You should keep your voice low. Most of our warriors won’t appreciate being woken up by a ghost; I hope you understand.”
Suddenly remembering where the fallen one had been standing before, Snowrunner glanced at the fresh-kill pile. What was xe doing there..? Wait, what’s that beside the pile… A shrew? “Did you bring that for us?” She whispered, pointing to the little animal with her tail.
Lynxshard-
Oh, you do, don’t you? Lynxshard thought, her whiskers twitching with amusement as she reflected on all of the days she had spent watching ThunderClan in the treetops. She wondered if she should tell them about BoneClan’s planned attack on RiverClan. I’ll see. It’s probably just a patrol attack… nothing RiverClan can’t handle…
Dashfoot-
So polite! Dashfoot thought, whiskers twitching with amusement as they peeked inside the warrior’s den. This was far more entertaining than trying to deal with obnoxious little fluff balls with no sense of humor.
“What?” xe said, peering over xyr shoulder at the freshkill pile as if they were surprised to see the shrew there. “Oh, that. Yeah, I caught that,” Dashfoot shrugged, “But tragically, dead cats can’t eat, and I’ve never been a fan of wasting food.”
Roseshade-
Roseshade followed Behind Snowrunnr, ready to protect the deputy. She was surprised to hear that the Dark Forest cat had caught and given them prey. She suspected that xe had a motive, and I wasn’t likely to be good.
Lynxshard-
Hope flared in Lynxshard’s chest. You don’t waste food? Like the other Dark Forest cats? Can I trust you?
She decided to take a risk and go ask him about BoneClan. A nagging feeling in her chest kept telling her that the situation was much worse than just a normal border attack, and he was the only cat she could think of who might know what BoneClan was actually planning. Of course… if he’s not friendly after all, vanish into the shadows or escape out of the thorn barrier and run back into the treetops. But I have to know for sure…
She dropped lightly from the trees into a shadowy spot before promptly realizing that to get his attention now would also been catching the ThunderClan deputy’s, too. Oops… you mousebrain! Too late now. “Psst, Dashfoot… over here…?”
Snowrunner-
Maybe not all of the Dark Forest wants to hurt us, but… Snowrunner inclined her head, thinking. What did this cat do that kept xem out of StarClan? There has to be some reason, surely? Deciding to remain a little wary of the ghostly cat, she returned her gaze to the fresh-kill pile.
“ThunderClan thanks you for your assistance; whether you can eat or not, it is kind of you to give us prey.” Snowrunner mewed formally, keeping her tone relaxed. “You are quite unlike any Dark Forest cat I’ve seen…” She glanced at the apparition with a questioning look in her eyes, “Do you mind sharing your name?”
(Hey, Sparkpaw, Dashfoot uses xe/xem pronouns! if those are too tricky, could you use they/them instead of he/him?)
Dashfoot-
“I’m Dashfoot,” xe said, glancing at Roseshade and Rowanpaw. Dashfoot was acquiring a bit of a crowd, not that they minded. If things turned nasty, xe could always just slipped away.
Dashfoot stiffened at the sight of Lynxshard, but kept xyr expression friendly and tried xyr best not to look too guilty. “Oh, hello Lynxshard, what brings you by here?” Dashfoot mewed.
Maybe she didn’t hear the bit about the shrew, xe thought hopefully. No, don’t kid yourself, she’s not deaf.
Dashfoot turned back to Snowrunner, swallowing down their unease. True, the Dark Forest would probably skin xem for giving clan cats, but maybe xe could lesson the punishment a bit.
“Well, I mostly just caught the shrew because I was bored,” Dashfoot explained, “And then I didn’t feel like carrying it all the way back to Boneclan.” There, now xe had painted xemself lazy, not treacherous. Xe glanced nervously at Lynxshard, hoping she would buy it.
(Oh, oops, sorry… I will)
Lynxshard-
“Um…” Wait… oh no, great StarClan, xem wasn’t trying to be helpful? “I… er… just wanted to ask something about BoneClan? And RiverClan? But it doesn’t look like this is a good time so I can go now if you’re busy.” Fear swept into Lynxshard’s chest, and she tried as hard as she could to keep her expression neutral. Drat, is Dashfoot not working for the Clans? One wrong step, and if it gets back to the Dark Forest, they’ll hunt me down for sure…
(Oh wait, I did that wrong, didn’t I? Does xe correspond with she/he/they and xem correspond with her/him/them? Sorry…)
the set works like this!
he/him/his/himself
xe/xem/xer/xemself
Keep in mind that “xer” might be spelled “xer”, “xyr”, or “xir” depending on the user’s preference! <3
Okay! Thank you so much, that cleared out a lot of confusion for me!
C:
(Looks like Viper’s gotcha covered!)
Dashfoot-
“Um,” Dashfoot said, “Yeah, maybe this isn’t the best time?”
Xe found her response utterly perplexing. Dashfoot had assumed Lynxshard had been about to accuse xem of helping the clans, but now she seemed….nervous? Maybe Dashfoot had done a better job of acting than xe thought xe had.
On the other paw, why would she bring up Riverclan around Thunderclan cats? The Dark Forest would be mad about the shrew, but if they told Thunderclan about the attack they might cost Boneclan the battle. Dashfoot was pretty sure xe wasn’t willing to take such a big risk.
Rowanpaw-
“What about Riverclan and Boneclan?” Rowanpaw interjected, eyes narrowing. “Has Riverclan betrayed us? Are they working with Boneclan?”
Snowrunner-
Snowrunner studied the two ghosts carefully, trying to figure out what intentions the fallen cats had. If Dashfoot caught the shrew in ShadowClan, but was too lazy to take it back to BoneClan, do they plan on staying in ThunderClan for the night? Why would they stop here? BoneClan isn’t that far! She turned to the second Dark Forest cat, an inquisitive expression on her face. But I’ll have to sort that out later. “Lynxshard!” She signaled for Rowanpaw and Roseshade to cut off the ghost’s escape, “Before you leave, what’s this about BoneClan and RiverClan? Has something happened?”
Dashfoot-
We’re so going to get skinned alive for this, Dashfoot thought, grooming at xry chest in an attempt to hide xyr panic. Why on earth did she bring that up in front of clan cats? The Dark forest might forgive a shrew, but not giving away their battle plans!
“See, Boneclan wants all us ghosts to learn to swim so we can waste Riverclan’s fish as well,” xe mewed, trying to sound confident and not like they were making it up on the spot. “She’s not very good, I’m afraid, so I’m giving her swimming lessons! Maybe we can do another session later, Lynxshard?”
Xe tried to catch the other Dark Forest cat’s eyes, hoping xyr gaze translated to pleasedon’tgetmekilled!! and not let’sgoswimming!, because Dashfoot didn’t actually know how to swim.
Lynxshard-
Um, wait, xe’s teaching me how to swim? Xe can’t swim- I bet that I could swim better than xem- oh.
It’s a lie. Er, I think it’s a lie. Which means that BoneClan is planning an attack of some sorts, but I STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS. Wow, very useful. Very successful mission there, Lynxshard. Arrrgggh.
“I have no idea,” she told Snowrunner, partially truthfully. “And, um, yaaaaaay? Swimming lessons?” Lynxshard plastered a grin on her face and tried her best not to look insane.
Roseshade-
Roseshade flicked her tail to Rowanpaw as she carefully positioned herself behind the Dark Forest cat. Her eyes narrowed as Lynxshard answered Dashfoot. There was something…off. She seemed too enthusiastic. Clans other than RiverClan weren’t usually so willing to get wet, much less learn how to swim.
Lynxshard-
They’re not accepting it, she realized. Well, they can question me up and down and backward and sideways, and they will get as much information as they would if they had asked a rock. Oh, BoneClan’s planning something? THEY ALWAYS ARE. The attack is aimed at RiverClan? But where? When? How big is their attack force? I HAVE NOT THE FOGGIEST IDEA!
Dashfoot-
They’re not buying it, Dashfoot thought nervously, still smiling with false calmness.
“We really just want to go swimming!” Xe insisted, before turning to xyr fellow Dark Forest ghost, “And I’m glad you asked about the next swimming lesson, Lynxshard! On second thought, since we’re both here, why don’t we go do that now?”
Mostly xe just wanted to get out of Thunderclan before the clan cats figured anything else out.
Rowanpaw-
“You seem awfully nervous for a cat who just has to do some swimming,” Rowanpaw murmured, crouching down, ready to spring if necessary.
Roseshade-
Roseshade narrowed her eyes. She wanted the cats off ThunderClan territory, but if they were plotting to attack another clan…it wouldn’t be good. The she-cat didn’t think Dashfoot and Lynxshard were very dangerous, but it would still be good to take precautions.
Snowrunner-
Snowrunner narrowed her eyes, realizing a lie in the Dark Forest cat’s claims. “I thought you weren’t a fan of wasting food, Dashfoot. Did you change your mind so soon? Do you want the shrew back?” She smiled slightly at the fallen cat, but it looked more intimidating than friendly. “Besides, RiverClan is much farther than BoneClan. You said you were too tired to go even half that distance. And you,” She turned to Lynxshard, “Why the uncertainty? You haven’t spoken a single word with confidence! Is this some sort of BoneClan trap?”
Lynxshard-
I rarely speak a word with complete confidence, but whatever. “RiverClan isn’t the only place with water,” she pointed out. “There’s the lake.”
(I have no idea if Dark Forest ghosts are still physically touchable when they disappear, but I guess I’m going with yes they are :P)
Dashfoot-
This isn’t working. This really, really isn’t working, Dashfoot thought, returning Snowrunner’s smile shakily. Xe wished it was a Boneclan trap, at least the xe would be on the winning side. “I did say that, didn’t I?” xe muttered, “I guess I’m just not a very decisive cat, y’know? Always changing my mind……”
And loosing track of my lies, but you’ve already figured that out, Dashfoot thought, closing xyr eyes briefly.
At this point, the truth seemed fairly obvious, but maybe Snowrunner wouldn’t figure it out. And maybe Boneclan hadn’t notice that xe was the only cat who had heard their plans and then left.
Xyr afterlife was resting on a few too many maybes.
“But, I think I’ve made up my mind now, I really ought to be going….” Dashfoot continued, and flickered out of sight.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw let out a hiss of frustration as the ghost disappeared, narrowing her eyes at the space xe had once been. It looked like a normal patch of air, but as she watched, the grass flattened ever so slightly, as if a cat had carefully stepped on it.
“We’re not done with our talk!” she snarled, springing forwards. Her paws slammed against fur, and she dug in her claws, slamming the ghost against the ground.
With a grunt of discomfort, Dashfoot reappeared, Rowanpaw’s claws digging into xyr chest. A little off, and I might have slit xyr throat, she realized with a jolt of panic, readjusting her grip so that one of her claws was resting on Dashfoot’s neck, and xe went still, going cross eyed in an effort to look at it.
“What should I do?” Rowanpaw asked Snowrunner, all confidence vanishing. She hadn’t been expecting on being able to catch xem at all, let alone pin xem down.
Roseshade-
Roseshade was about to reply to Lynxshard when she saw Rowanpaw lunge at Dashfoot. Her eyes widened as panic filled her body. The Dark Forest cat could easily kill her apprentice, and she couldn’t loose another cats close to her. The she-cat leapt forward, forcing Dashfoot to the ground. “Rowanpaw,I need you to get away from xem. Snowrunner and I will take care of this.”
She tried to make her voice even, but her words came out shaky and unsure. Roseshade glanced at Rowanpaw, shifting so she was more securely pinning the opposing cat. “Please,I don’t want you getting hurt.”
Rowanpaw-
“Alright, just make sure you have a good grip xem,” she mewed, blinking at her mentor. “I’m pretty sure if you let xem stand up, xe’ll turn invisible and try to slip away again.”
Rowanpaw shot the Dark Forest cat a glare, and added, “Which just further proves that xe’s hiding something.”
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot scowled, relieved to no longer have a claw at xyr throat but not too thrilled that xe was still pinned to the ground.
Mousedung, I really messed this up, Dashfoot thought, tilting xyr head to study the warrior that was holding xem down. All xe had wanted to do was annoy some clan cats, and xe had successfully jeopardized Boneclan’s attack and gotten xemself tackled.
“I wouldn’t hurt an apprentice,” Dashfoot scoffed, before realizing that wasn’t true. Not anymore, anyway, xe revised with a jab of guilt, squirming uncomfortably under the Thunderclan cat’s weight. “Besides, she jumped on me, not the other way around. I’m afraid this is going to wreck your hospitality review, before you were beating Shadowclan by a landslide, but this is significantly more threatening than they were.”
Lynxshard-
This is pretty much all my fault, Lynxshard thought with a sigh. “Really, we don’t know anything, please, let him go…” Does Dashfoot know anything? That’s why I’m here, but… maybe I’m overthinking things? What’s my evidence for a BoneClan attack at all here? One, Windmist’s comment that RiverClan would need herbs, and two, Dashfoot’s obvious coverup about it. All just implications.
Roseshade-
Roseshade twitched her whiskers at Dashfoot’s sarcasm. Xe was amusing, but still dangerous. “Well, seeing as your a Dark Forest cat,we aren’t putting killing an apprentice above you. And safety precautions do exist.” she questioningly looked over at Snowrunner, not sure exactly what to do. “Do you think we should let xem go? Xe won’t bother us after this.”
(That feeling when you spend all day learning the phycology and motivations of a fictional character instead of being productive and Roleplaying 😛 )
Snowrunner-
“Not yet.” Snowrunner answered Roseshade, stepping closer to the fallen cats. “Rowanpaw is right: Dashfoot will probably run the second xe has the chance, and there’s something xe hasn’t told us yet…” She trailed off, suddenly lost in thought.
Let’s see; Lynxshard asked Dashfoot about BoneClan and RiverClan as if there was something happening that only xe knew about. Assuming that wasn’t a lie, and sabotaging fish is out of the question, then…
Snowrunner slowly turned to look the pinned cat in the eyes, her expression fragilely neutral.
“Dashfoot.” She meowed calmly, despite her racing thoughts, “Tell me this: is there, or is there not a BoneClan invasion being planned or taking place right now?”
Dashfoot-
Once again, Dashfoot found xemself in a staring contest with the Thunderclan deputy, but this time xe looked away first, staring at a sprig of grass next to xyr head.
Xyr breath caught in xyr throat as Snowrunner asked the question xe had been trying to avoid. Xe was caught.
For a moment, Dashfoot was tempted to try and lie again, but what was the point?
She’s obviously figured it out, I don’t think I’ll be able to wiggle my way out of this one, xe thought miserably, taking another deep breath. Might as well cut my losses now, ally myself with the clan cats before I end up stuck up in the middle. Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll kill all the Boneclan cats for me.
“You clan cats are smarter than you look,” Dashfoot mumbled, glancing guiltily over at Lynxshard. Would she report this back to Boneclan?
“Forgive me for not being completely honest, Boneclan will probably have my hide for this. But yes, most of Boneclan’s currently attacking Riverclan, along with some Dark Forest ghosts, and they have Minnowstar captive.”
They, not we. Terrified as xe was, it was satisfying to be betraying the despicable monsters.
Lynxshard-
Her breath caught in her throat. “They… have… Minnowstar?” she managed to choke out. “How?” I’m a mousebrain! The dumbest mousebrain in the forest. Most of BoneClan? RIGHT NOW????
(I’m so sorry I disappeared from this page aaaaa)
Lizardstar-
He lay near the camp entrance, nose tucked under his paws. His foreleg still throbbed in pain, and his thoughts were in a haze- nothing seemed clear. He heard Snowrunner’s voice, and Roseshade’s, and some other cat’s- who is that?- but he couldn’t figure out what they were saying.
Icesnout-
The old tom padded out from the elder’s den, narrowing his eyes at the cats near the fresh-kill pile.
Two didn’t belong.
“What in the name of StarClan is going on?” He hissed, padding over with narrowed eyes. He unsheathed his claws and crouched slightly, ready to lunge for the nearest unfamiliar throat.
Pinepaw-
He halted for a moment, looking around at the gathered cats. We aren’t in any shape to help them.
Roseshade-
Roseshade’s eyes widened as she heard Dashfoot’s response. ThunderClan was barley keeping themselves from getting taken over by BoneClan, how would they manage to help RiverClan? “We need to do something.” she whispered, dread already building up over what that something would be.
Lynxshard-
“Your leader is injured, though…” she mumbled, still in shock over Dashfoot’s news. How did they get their paws on Minnowstar? Also, how fast do they make battle plans?
You know that you’re supposed to be a loyal Dark Forest cat, right, Lynxshard?
She immediately threw that thought in the trash. BoneClan means nothing to me…The Dark Forest means nothing to me… they tricked me into following them…
Snowrunner-
Snowrunner’s eyes widened. I thought there might be an invasion, but RiverClan is leaderless as well? This is much worse than I could have anticipated!
She studied Dashfoot carefully, just to be sure, but the fallen cat seemed genuine- relieved, even. Either xe had gotten much better at acting, or xe wasn’t acting at all.
“Alright, you can let xem go now, Roseshade.” Snowrunner mewed to her clanmate, trusting that Dashfoot was telling the truth. “You’ve been more than helpful so far; you too, Rowanpaw.”
Okay, so what now? RiverClan is under attack, Minnowstar is being held… At BoneClan camp, probably, and Lizardstar is injured. I… Should I leave ThunderClan undefended to help RiverClan? Do I help RiverClan fight BoneClan, or do I rescue Minnowstar? Can we do both? Snowrunner shook her head. She needed more information before she made a move.
“Do you know how many BoneClan cats went to RiverClan? I want to know if they left their camp unguarded.” Snowrunner asked Dashfoot politely. “If they have, we may be able to get ShadowClan on our side and put an end to this nightmare.”
Either that, or doom us all…
Pinepaw-
“If we help them than we incur BoneClan’s wrath. We’ve already had a confrontation with one of them today and look how that turned out. What are we going to do faced with an army?”
Rowanpaw-
“Apparently Boneclan’s attacking Riverclan right now,” Rowanpaw replied to Icesnout. She smiled at Snowrunner’s praise.
Then, she turned to Lynxshard, eyes narrowed with distrust. “What about you?” she challenged, “Where do you stand? Are you just going to repeat everything we say back to Boneclan?”
Dashfoot-
“They’ll come for you eventually,” Dashfoot said to Pinepaw. Xe wiggled away from Roseshade and climbed to xyr feet, and began to groom the dust out of xyr fur. “Riverclan’s only first because Boneclan can’t get to their prey as easily.”
“I don’t know exactly how many,” Dashfoot continued, avoiding the Thunderclan cat’s gaze, “Last I saw, they were….” xe cleared xyr throat, xyr pelt prickling with embarrassment, “They were going to break Minnowstar’s leg, and I didn’t want to stick around for that.”
“However,” xe mewed, a smile creeping onto xyr face, “They all seemed pretty eager to attack, and no one was volunteering to stay behind. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s only a couple of cats in camp.”
Icesnout-
“Ah. I knew it had been too long.” He shook his head, then turned. “Lizardstar, you great lump! Come over here and help us figure this situation out. Get some cobweb on that leg and buck up,” he called gruffly, padding over and nudging the brown-and-white tom to his feet. He touched his nose to his cheek gently, giving him a look.
“I know you’re struggling right now, son, but you have to be there for the Clan. Snowrunner isn’t Clan leader yet- she can’t do this alone.”
Lizardstar-
Startled, he stood, blinking at Icesnout in bewilderment. He looked over at the gathered cats. Was that… Lynxshard? What? But she… He shook his head. Icesnout was right. Clearing the fog from his head, he padded over, trying his best to suppress his limp.
“I’m sorry, I’m just… Well, there’s no excuse. I need to get out of my own head.” He blinked gratefully to the old tom, then sat down next to Pinepaw.
“What’s going on? And you two- give me your names and allegiances. No use in lying- I can see through BoneClan trickery,” he mewed sharply, eyeing the two wraiths. Upon closer inspection, it was Lynxshard- he had known her only for a short time. She had been with the Place of No Stars even before the Shattering, hadn’t she?
Roseshade-
Roseshade shook out her fur, glad to be away from the Dark Forest cat. She thought for a moment, taking in the fallen warrior’s words. “If what Dashfoot says is true,we could attack their camp and hopefully free Minnowstar.”
Lynxshard-
Her pelt prickled nervously, and it was her turn to shoot a nervous glance at Dashfoot. Well, apparently they do have something over me after all… fear, she thought. How likely is it that this is all a ploy to reveal that I’m against BoneClan?
Dashfoot sounded genuine enough, though…
I have to choose now. Perhaps if I had investigated more, chosen my side earlier, I could have gotten help for RiverClan faster… One or the other. No more hiding. No more “neutral.”
“I’m on your side,” she declared. “Not a word of this will return to BoneClan because of me.”
Snowrunner-
Hearing about the events Dashfoot had witnessed, Snowrunner blinked in sympathy for the RiverClan leader. “That sounds terrible! I wouldn’t’ve stayed to watch that either.”
But when Dashfoot was done speaking, a genuine smile formed on her face.
“That’s good; if we can alert ShadowClan to this development, we may be able to help RiverClan as well as take BoneClan’s camp.” She glanced at the camp entrance, where Lizardstar was resting. “I’ll tell Lizardstar, everyone else prepare; we might not get much sleep tonight.”
Snowrunner rose to her paws and padded over to the ThunderClan leader, noting how exhausted he looked.
“Lizardstar,” She whispered, trying to get his attention, “Lizardstar, RiverClan is being attacked and BoneClan is venerable; should we interfere?”
Dashfoot-
“I’m Dashfoot,” Dashfoot replied to Lizardstar, with a theatrical bow. “And don’t worry, I’ve just run out of Boneclan trickery,” xe added ruefully.
Xe paused, trying to figure out what to say for xyr allegiance. “Well, I’m currently betraying Boneclan, so I guess that makes me on your side,” xe said with a shrug.
Xe caught Lynxshard’s glance in xyr direction, and returned it with equal wariness. “At this point, I suppose you’d already be running to tattle if you were a spy,” Dashfoot said, an uncertain smile flickering on xyr face.
Lynxshard-
“Lizardstar,” Lynxshard said, dipping her head. “You already know me- I doubt we need introductions. I can get ShadowClan,” she offered. “I get be there and back pretty quickly. Or, if you don’t trust me enough for that yet… well, alright, I’m just going to say that my only sort of ‘talent’ is climbing trees, so…”
Pinepaw-
He hesitated at the thought of running into battle. We are already so weak, who will die if we do this?
Lizardstar-
“Well, I’m glad that you’re with us, Dashfoot. I certainly hope that you don’t have a change of heart.” He gave xem a warning look. Xyr answer had been a bit too… nonchalant for his liking, but xe didn’t seem to be any kind of malicious. He turned his gaze to Lynxshard next. “And, yes, I do know you, Lynxshard. Forgive me when I say I don’t entirely trust you. If you’re going to get ShadowClan, I’d like an escort to go with you- Roseshade? Would you be able to accompany her?” He flicked his tail towards her. He looked to Snowrunner, nodding.
“Oh yes- we’re definitely intervening. With any luck, we’ll be able to get Minnowstar safely to our camp and cause some damage while we’re there.”
He took a deep breath. His foreleg still pulsed with a dull fire- he was slower, weaker. Not to mention the fact that he was practically skin and bone. He had lives to spare, his Clanmates didn’t- he would forfeit his meals for theirs any day. He only hoped that he could stay strong enough to lead.
Icesnout-
“I’ll be joining you on this whole expedition,” Icesnout added. As Lizardstar opened his mouth to object, he cut him off. “No argument against it. I’ve earned the right to teach a few of those fox-hearts a well-deserved lesson. If I die, I die fighting- not rotting away in the elder’s den like some old lump.”
Rainspirit-
She dragged herself along the ground, half-crawling, half-limping. Her leg poured blood in a crimson trail behind her, and the long scores along her sides burned like fire. At last, the entrance to the ThunderClan camp loomed before her.
“Help!” Her voice came out in a desperate rasp as she pulled herself forward. “BoneClan…” she could barely hold her head up, exhaustion sweeping through her.
Pinepaw-
He glanced at his mentor, “If you’re going, then so am I–” only to be cut off by Rainspirit.
Roseshade-
Just as Roseshade was about to leave camp with Dashfoot,a bloodied RiverClan warrior she recognized as Rainspirit pulled herself into camp. “Lizardstar…if that’s the damage BoneClan has already done,we need to work quickly. I take Dashfoot to ShadowClan,we’ll get them to help us. I just hope it’s not too late.”
(I’m pretty sure it was Lynxshard who was going to go to Shadowclan?)
Dashfoot-
“I’m not going to lie to you, I’m not the best at being a team player,” Dashfoot replied to Lizzardstar with a shrug. “But I’m no fan of Boneclan, and at this point I’ll be in hot water with them no matter what I do.”
At the sight of Rainspirit, xyr eyes widened with dismay. “Looks like Boneclan’s been buisy,” Dashfoot muttered, trotting over to her side.
“Does Thunderclan have a medicine cat?” xe called over xyr shoulder to the Thunderclan cats. “Here, you can lean on me,” xe added to Rainspirit. “You need to keep your weight off that leg.”
Even though Dashfoot hadn’t been on the attack force, xe hadn’t willingly done anything to stop it. It felt good to know xe was free to help whoever xe wanted too now, even if Boneclan would probably shred xem if they knew.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw let out a soft hiss of disgust at the sight of Rainspirit, her pelt bristling. “How’s the battle going?” she asked the injured cat, glancing desperately at her mentor. “You better go fast, if she’s the only cat who could get away to send a message, Riverclan must be in trouble.”
Lynxshard-
“All right, let’s go,” Lynxshard agreed, her eyes widening at the sight of Rainspirit. Oh, StarClan… Guilt nagged at her belly. If only I had investigated sooner… faster…
(Oops,it was. Sorry about that!)
(Do you want to switch to the Forest tab or straight to Shadow’s page?)
(I think going right to ShadowClan would be good)
(Okay! The “Forest” or “Main Clearing” tab?)
Lynxshard-
“Just ShadowClan and back, right?” Lynxshard asked. “No WindClan, or not yet, anyway?”
(would anyone like to create a ThunderClan med cat?)
Lizardstar-
“Great StarClan,” he breathed, his eyes widening at the sight of the battered warrior. “Rainspirit- I’m not sure where the medicine cat is. I… I…” His mind whirled. “Yes, Lynxshard- you and Roseshade go straight to ShadowClan. This is worse than I had imagined. And Pinepaw- if you’re coming, please stay by me.” He rushed over to help Dashfoot support her, hesitating slightly.
Had she forgiven him for her sister’s death?
That’s not important now, you mouse-brain. He winced slightly as he put weight on his own injured leg.
Rainspirit-
She gratefully leaned against Dashfoot’s side, her breath coming in shallow gasps. She lifted her head to Rowanpaw.
“They’re destroying everything. WindClan c-came to help us, and even t-they’re dropping like flies. They’ve got Silverpaw… I don’t know w-where Minnowstar is…” She shuddered, squeezing her eyes shut.
As Lizardstar appeared on the opposite side of her, she instinctively pulled away, before reluctantly letting both cats support her.
Now was not the time for grudges. Now was the time for action.
Icesnout-
“Get her in the elder’s den- it’s driest in there when it rains.” He looked up as lightning split the sky, his eyes darkening. “You two’d better hurry, and so should we- the longer we stand here, the more cats are dying. We can’t afford to lose any more time.”
Lynxshard-
So they already have WindClan… “Okay, let’s go,” she said, nodding to Roseshade. Turning, she hared out of camp, jumped into the trees, and shot off into the night.
(I can!)
Dashfoot-
“Unfortunately, Boneclan got their paws on Minnowstar,” Dashfoot said, helping the injured cat over to the elder’s den. Xe turned to Lizardstar, a little puzzled by the way Rainspirit had flinched away from him.
“I know a bit of basic medical stuff from when I was a rogue,” xe offered, “We’re probably going to want cobwebs and marigold, but beyond that is out of my depth.”
Rowanpaw-
“Great Starclan, they’re still winning against two clans?” Rowanpaw said, eyes going wide. Her paws twitched with the urge to rush out to help, but going alone would be rash.
Pinepaw-
He gave a nod of agreement to his mentor. I’ll stay by you but I’m worried. I don’t think we are making the right decision. Attacking two cats? That just doesn’t seem like who ThunderClan–Lizardstar–is. He quickly padded up to his mentor’s side.
(main clearing)
(Okay!)
(the warriors wiki isn’t really helping my creativity here 😛 yes, there’s lots of different herbs, but I don’t know what you’d do to a wound other than stop the bleeding and prevent infection? aka, cobwebs and marigold.)
Sablewind-
Sablewind trudged into camp, their jaws laden with the spiky bough of a juniper bush, still loaded with berries. They’d originally gone out with the excuse of finding chervil, but that had been too easy to find. Now if only signs from Starclan, what they had actually wanted to see, were as easy to spot.
“Great Starclan-” they yelped, snapping out of their thoughts at the heavy scent of blood. The branch tumbled to the ground as they rushed into camp, their reddish fur bristling like a pinecone.
Sablewind sniffed at the injured cat’ leg, casting a wary glance at one of the cats beside her. They’d seen Rainspirit at gatherings a few times, but the other was a stranger. “Rowanpaw, grab me some cobwebs, poppy seeds, and marigold,” Sablewind demanded, gesturing in the apprentice’s direction.
“Lizardstar, I’m so sorry, I was….out looking for juniper berries,” they said to their leader, their pelt growing hot as they realized they didn’t even have them with them anymore.
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot leaned back to give Sablewind space, studying them. Xe wasn’t very impressed, given that thus far all they’d done was order the exact same word’s that xe had suggested. Plus, for some reason they appeared to be rambling about juniper berries. One liar to another, Dashfoot would have told them that if they were going to lie, they had to do it with confidence.
“What a sight, the fabled Thunderclan medicine cat has appeared,” xe commented.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw shot Dashfoot a glare, then spun away to head towards the medicine cat’s den. Fumbling with the delicate stalks of marigold, she returned, and dumped the supplies in a haphazard heap at Sablewind’s paws.

Lizardstar-
“It’s alright, Sablewind- the only thing that matters is that you’re here now. I have a feeling you’re going to be seeing quite a few patients very, very soon,” he mewed grimly, carefully stepping back from Rainspirit’s side as the medicine cat began to work. He gave Dashfoot a warning glare. “BoneClan is attacking RiverClan. They have Minnowstar captive, and they’ve beaten most of WindClan, as well- we’re on our way now to help them. I hope your herb stores are stocked.” He glanced up at the sky outside the elder’s den, gritting his teeth. “Take good care of her, please- I owe her that much. If her life can be saved, that’s something.” He dipped his head to them, then turned and padded into the downpour, lifting his head.
“Pinepaw, Icesnout, Rowanpaw, Snowrunner, and Tumblefeather- come with me. We’re going to BoneClan’s camp. Dashfoot- I want you to go the long way around. Take the path through RiverClan territory. If you can find Nightpool, let him know that ThunderClan and ShadowClan are on their way,” he mewed firmly, starting towards the camp entrance.
Icesnout-
“I’m proud of you,” the old tom mewed softly, catching up to the leader and keeping his eyes focused ahead of him. “You’ve changed. You remind me a lot of Frogstar, y’know.” He grew quiet, casting his eyes downward.
He missed her. So, so much.
He glanced at Tumblefeather out of the corner of his eye, then at Lizardstar. Both of them his sons, yet only one of them his blood kin. A feeling of warmth rose in his chest, and he smiled.
If he died in this battle, he would die knowing that he had lived a full life- he would die alongside his sons, his Clan, his pride and joy.
He would die happy.
Rainspirit-
She let out a whimper as her support stepped away, wobbling slightly on her paws as Sablewind bent to examine her wounds. Her eyes widened at Dashfoot’s mention of Minnowstar- was xe really telling the truth?
“No, this can’t be…” her voice shook, and her head spun. Dizzy, she crumpled to the floor of the elder’s den.
Pinepaw-
He nodded to his mentor and padded out of the camp by his side. He paused a moment before asking the question that had been nagging him, “Do you think that what we’re doing is right? Attacking two cats, one of whom is blind like this?” His voice was soft, the question directed at Lizardstar.
Sablewind-
Sablewind nodded to Lizardstar, then turned back to their patient.
“Careful,” Sablewind cautioned Rainspirit, scowling as the other cat’s tumble rejuvenated the flow of blood from her leg. “Here, have a poppy seed,” they added, nudging the pile towards her. They coated her leg with a layer of cobwebs, then stood. “I’m going to grab some Foxglove leaves, I’ll be right back.”
As they dashed across the clearing, they paused to study Dashfoot. Sablewind didn’t trust xem, but they respected Lizardstar’s judgement. There were many things they wanted to ask xem about Boneclan, but that would have to wait. “If you’re going to Riverclan, you might as well bring Lilypaw and Embershade some supplies,” they muttered, nodding towards the herb storage. “Take some foxglove and cobwebs with you.”
Dashfoot-
Dashfoot frowned, considering objecting to Lizardstar’s instructions. Xe wasn’t a Thunderclan cat, and xe wasn’t a fan of risking xyr life any more than xe had to.
Besides, Boneclan probably hadn’t guessed anything was up yet. With Rainsprit’s escape, they could have someone else to blame the presence of Thunderclan on.
You won’t be safe unless Boneclan’s gone, Dashfoot reminded xemself, picking up a bundle of cobwebs and foxglove. If you’re going to betray them, then you might as well see it all the way through.
“See you in a bit,” Dashfoot called after the Thunderclan patrol as xe headed towards Riverclan territory, “And be on guard. Remember, us Dark Forest cats aren’t always visible!”
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw trotted along behind Pinepaw and Lizardstar, feeling somewhat vulnerable without her mentor by her side. She hadn’t realized it, but she’d gotten used to having Roseshade around.
I didn’t say goodbye, Rowanpaw realized with a stab of regret, her pelt prickling with unease.
(Foreshadowing 🙂 )
Snowrunner-
“We’ll keep that in mind.” Snowrunner assured Dashfoot as xe passed the patrol.
She walked in silence for a while, then turned to Lizardstar. “The condition Rainspirit was in- do you think we’re already too late? She told us that BoneClan was winning against two Clans when she escaped… If things are that bad, I don’t think saving Minnowstar is going to help them.” She meowed gravely.
(Wait, so do you already know what’s going to happen?)
(“Dark Forest cats aren’t always visible” and BoneClan plans to have Lilyfang sneak ThunderClan and stuff 🙂 )
Lizardstar-
He hesitated, taking a deep breath.
These questions were nearly impossible to answer- he didn’t know if he was doing the right thing. He didn’t know if it was too late. It felt like he didn’t know anything.
“Well,” he began, “I know that Cloudsight isn’t one to be underestimated. Their blindness doesn’t hinder them too much- just makes them bitter. And if Rainspirit got away, BoneClan is most likely expecting us now- there’s probably more than just Wolfstrike and Cloudsight waiting for us.” He paused, considering. “Even if saving Minnowstar won’t help them, it’ll help her. We can’t just leave her there to die. Dashfoot said that they broke her leg, remember?” He sighed, shaking his head. “I don’t know what’s going to happen. All I know is that this threat can’t be left unaddressed. The plan is, we get in, take Minnowstar to our camp, and then head to RiverClan to help them directly. Hopefully there won’t be too much bloodshed.”
Mr. Tibbles-
“You!!!” Mr. Tibbles tumbled out of the foliage ahead, landing in a heap in front of the ThunderClan patrol.
“You were supposed to be here precisely one hour ago. Now we have to skip tea,” he grumbled, glaring at Icesnout. “Listen here, you bumbling buffoon. I’ve only a few minutes- I’m late myself. Death isn’t the same as honor. Don’t give up on your life before you’ve lost it- you goose! Utterly silly little goose!” His tail lashed in annoyance, and he flicked his gaze to Lizardstar next. “And you– you’re a goose, too. Step lively! You’ve got things to face! And, young man-” he turned to Pinepaw- “you’re going to be just fine, Pinekit. Don’t go in there to kill, go in there to liberate. And Snowpaw?” He turned finally to the deputy, shaking a paw at her. “Don’t forsake a life for the sake of your Clan. Any life is worth it, no matter whose life it is.” With that, he got to his paws and shook the rain from his pelt.
“Now, good day! Silly, the lot of them! Gooses- no, geese, that’s grammar, isn’t it? Gice? Goosers? Gose? Goose, goose, goose…” he trailed off as he disappeared once more into the underbrush, bushy gray tail held haughtily in the air.
(Great Starclan Mr. Tibbles is just too amazing to handle sometimes 😛 😛 “You goose!” dkfhafjkda)
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw glanced around at her clanmates, then after the strange cat that had been ranting about geese. “…..what in the name of Starclan?” she said, feeling oddly humbled but mostly completely bewildered. “Do any of you know that guy?”
She’d been too busy trying to comprehend that a random cat had just walked up and called the most important members of her clan geese to pay much attention to the rest of it, but she was a little worried by what he had said about Icesnout. Had he really given up?
Pinepaw-
His eyes widened at the sight of the tom and he blinked twice to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. His words were oddly reassuring coming from such an…interesting…cat.
Snowrunner-
“Well… I think saw him once as an apprentice.” Snowrunner meowed in answer to Rowanpaw, “I’m afraid I don’t know much about him, though.”
But it looks like he knows a lot about us- well, besides our names. She recalled with mild indignance how he had used her apprentice name and Pinepaw’s kit name. But aside from that, he talked to each of us like he knew exactly what our doubts were, and he even sounded like he was expecting us! That can’t just be coincidence, can it?
“In any case, we should listen to him.” Snowrunner decided, glancing at her clanmates over her shoulder.
To Lizardstar, she added, “I suppose you’re both right; we can’t afford to leave Minnowstar behind.” Snowrunner faced forward, where the BoneClan border was approaching. “I just hope that RiverClan and WindClan can manage without us for a while longer…”
(I think you mean Silverpaw btw, Lilypaw is BoneClan 🙂 )
(oops, yes I meant her 😛 and yes, foreshadowing)
Rowanpaw-
“As long as they had Minnowstar, they have leverage,” Rowanpaw pointed out, “Plus, maybe we can take away Boneclan’s medicine cat or something while we’re there.”
Drizzlepaw-
She padded into the camp, white paws glimmering with starlight. She let out a small smile at the sight of Lizardstar. I always knew he was meant for something more. She walked closer and began to let out a mew of greeting that she quickly stifled, remembering the circumstances. You can see him but he can’t see you.
Lizardstar-
Startled, he jumped backward slightly, his chest tightening.
“I… I’ve never seen him before,” he stammered, trying to collect himself. “But… Yes, Snowrunner, you’re right. He knows what needs to happen, and we should heed his warning.” He shook himself, determined to stay strong. “We’ll go in, get Minnowstar, and get out- we’ll be helping the others in no time at all.” He glanced at Icesnout worriedly, resting his tail-tip on the old tom’s shoulder. The stranger’s warning was… disconcerting. Had he really given up before the battle had even begun?
A warm sensation hit him suddenly, and he looked around, confused. He felt somebody… Watching him? Was the stranger still nearby? No. This felt familiar. Something in his heart felt heavy, but he pushed it away- he was imagining things. That was all.
Icesnout-
His eyes went wide, and he gave a startled hiss.
“I’m fine,” he snapped, glancing between Pinepaw and Lizardstar. He didn’t know who that old tom was or how he seemed to know his inner thoughts, but he wouldn’t let the others know that he had been right.
Though, really… He was.
Frogstar had never given up. She didn’t let herself die- she had fought for her very last breath. Drizzlepaw had died fighting. Who was he to think that he could give up so easily? He would be letting them down- he had to fight.
“We should get out of here. We’re wasting time, and standing here is doing nothing but getting us soaked in this StarClan-forsaken rain,” he mewed curtly, shaking out his fur. A joint in his hip popped painfully, and he gritted his teeth.
Drizzlepaw-
She smiled sadly at Icesnout and the memories that seeing the two of them brought on. I wish I could have done more. I wish I could do more now.
Rowanpaw-
“Let’s go!” Rowanpaw agreed, her pelt prickling with anticipation. Logically, she knew the battle would be dangerous, but she couldn’t help feeling a little excited.
Lynxshard-
“Lizardstar,” Lynxshard called, melting out of the shadows, “ShadowClan’s coming, Roseshade’s with them.”
Drizzlepaw-
Her eyes widened at the sight of Lynxshard and her fur stood on end. She tensed and moved between the Dark Forest cat and Lizardstar.
Pinepaw-
He gave a quick nod and tensed, his tail twitched with both worry and excitement.
(This randomly popped into my head while I was writing this- I’ll probably make a post on the website later once I can, but here’s a quick breakdown of the territories:
ThunderClan shares a border with BoneClan and ShadowClan
ShadowClan shares a border with ThunderClan and WindClan
WindClan shares a border with ShadowClan and RiverClan
RiverClan shares a border with WindClan and BoneClan)
Lizardstar-
He startled slightly at the sight of Lynxshard, then shook his head, remembering. “Thank you, Lynxshard. I’m glad that Roseshade’s safe. Hopefully, StarClan’s on our side today,” he mewed softly, staring up at the sky for a moment before turning back to his patrol.
“Let’s go! Lynxshard, will you scout ahead?”
(Move to the forest tab! Once ShadowClan catches up, move to BoneClan’s forest :3)
Lynxshard-
“Okay,” Lynxshard said, exhaling slowly. Drizzlepaw, she thought with a jolt. That’s two StarClan cats today plus that magic loner… that means the battle today is going to be really bad… I’m going to fail, mess up, do something wrong in the worst way possible…
Her breath started coming in quick gasps, and she turned away from Lizardstar and Drizzlepaw. What if BoneClan has cats with Roseshade’s power? What if Lilyfang, Loststar, or Honeyblaze spots me… “Yep, yes, sure, ummm, of course, I’ll go now.” Don’t panic, do your best. I can definitely scout without messing something up. She let herself turn invisible against the shadowy backdrop and raced off, headed for BoneClan territory. Your Clan needs you, just think about that… nothing else matters.
(It looks like ShadowClan is ready now… should we start playing on the BoneClan page?)
(i think we are in the ThunderClan forest rn)
(thanks!)
Sablewind-
Sablewind dashed back from their den, carrying their bundle of herbs. Carefully, they began to tend to Rainspirit’s wounds, trying to keep their mind on their work and not on the battle.
So Windclan and Riverclan together still weren’t enough to defeat Boneclan. From Rainspirit’s description, it sounded like there were going to be plenty of other wounds to tend to soon. How could Starclan let this happen?
“Don’t worry yourself over the battle, I’m certain that Lizardstar will be able to sort it out,” Sablewind murmured out loud, trying to convince both themself and their patient.
Rainspirit-
Letting out an uncomfortable wheeze, Rainspirit curled her lip.
“Your optimism is misplaced,” she rasped darkly, looking up to meet the medicine cat’s gaze. “I have nothing against ThunderClan, but StarClan made a dire mistake letting that… that monster become the leader.” Her chest rose and fell shakily, and she sighed, letting her head rest on the ground.
Sablewind-
Sablewind stared at the injured cat, startled. Lizardstar, a monster? He’d always seemed like a good enough leader and a kind cat.
“Well, either way,” they replied lightly, “Even Boneclan can’t defeat all four clans. Soon they’ll be put back in their place.”
I hope, anyway.
Sablewind frowned at Rainspirit’s shaky breathing, and glanced at the wound in her side. Had her wounds damaged her lungs?
They fished a bit of coltsfoot from their pile of herbs, and quickly chewed it up. “Here, eat that,” they said, nudging the herbs towards Rainspirit, “it should help with your breathing.”
Gingerly, Sablewind peeled back a bit of foxglove on her leg, hoping that the bleeding had slowed. With a soft hiss of frustration, they pressed the leaf back down. Not yet.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw walked back into camp, her tail lashing with frustration as she passed the fresh kill pile empty pawed. She hadn’t expected to catch much, but it hurt to know that she hadn’t been able to contribute to the clan.
(does Rowanpaw have a mentor?)
(Nope!)
(May I be it,then?)
(Sure, that would be great!)
(ok!)
Pinepaw-
He glanced at Rowanpaw. “I have a bad feeling about BoneClan. What with seeing so many ghosts in one day and everything, I can’t help but feel like they are planning something.
(Don’t forget to check this page Minktail 🙂 )
Fernkit-
Fernkit bounced over to the two apprentices. “Mother said BoneClan is always planning to attack” she sighed. “But I bet you both will defend like warriors!” Then the sun started setting, “I better get back before mother gets worried, byee!!”
Ravenflight-
Ravenflight limped into camp holding his hawk in his mouth. As he dropped into the Fresh kill pile the pain in his leg stung with pain, letting out a small shriek.
He trotted over to the medicine den
Foreststripe-
He sat down beside Lillypetal who was eating some fresh kill. “Do you want to join?” he asked. “Join what?” “My patrol to BoneClan”
Lillypetal-
She jerked back in shock. “Are you a mouse-brain!?!” she yelled, “BoneClan is another word for a paper shredder!!!!”
Foreststripe-
“I’m not lying, but I might be a mouse brain” Foreststripe said.
Lillypetal-
“Fine,” she sighed. “We wont fight, I promise”
Lillypetal went off to the forest to prepare for what she thought would be a battle.
|Hailclaw|
Hailclaw was laying around in camp with Silkkit, the two seemed to be getting along and she enjoyed the young kits company.
She noticed her brother laying by himself on the opposite side of the clearing.
‘I know he’s hurting but would it kill him to see hello to his niece?’
Hailclaw thought.
She glanced over one more time but then just sighed and went back to playing with Silkkit.
}Icerose{
He seemed to be keeping to himself as usual.
The warrior hadn’t done much since his brother left. It was as if all of his motivation had been washed away, leaving only a bitter core.
Icerose just continued to gaze at the fallen leaves and the patches of the still grass.
Lillypetal-
“Well that was…chaotic” Lillypetal murmured to the kit. Chaotic is an understatement! My brother just died! “Next time you come sneaking up on me, I’ll check around to see if there are any badgers,” Lillypetal reassured the little kit, “You’re mother should be grateful that you’re alive”
Ivykit~
“My mother?” Ivykit asked. “Oh… yeah. Her. But, uh… she died… so um… Could you take care of me?” Ivykit looked up at Lillypetal, praying for a yes.
Iris-
She padded into the camp, purple eyes stoney. “Last I checked I was very much alive.” Xe snapped, ignoring the ThunderClan warriors.
Lillypetal-
The silver tabby flattened her ears sadly. “I would…” she stammered praying that the queen would eventually die so she could mentor the little kit someday. Oh I am going to the dark forest for this, please forgive me StarClan! She prayed as she grabbed the queen. “Is this… fine for you?” She stammered while preparing to hopefully kill the queen.
FOREST
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw padded into the forest, ears pricked as he glanced at his mentor. “Where do you want to start?” He asked.
guys believe me i made five characters it’s just taking forever for the comment to exist 😉Lilyfang-
Lilyfang emerged from the shadows of a tree, smiling sweetly. Being a Dark Forest cat did not make her terrifying like the stories said. Living cats are so gullible, she thought to herself. Even though Dark Forest ghosts had been haunting the clans for moons now,Lilyfang was still able to convince cats that she was nice. That she was trustworthy. That she wouldn’t hurt them. Killing them was easy after she gained a cats trust. They let their defenses down, and Lilyfang took advantage of that.
“Hello,” she purred, slinking towards Lizardstar and his apprentice. “I don’t think we’ve met yet. I’m Lilyfang.” she tilted her head and closed her eyes for a moment before looking back at them. The cats were starving, she could tell. She was thrilled that the Dark Forest’s plant was working. Soon,BoneClan would be on top,and the other clans would perish.
Lizardstar-
“Let’s try ove-” Lizardstar broke off as a lovely calico she-cat padded forward from the trees, purring. His fur bristled in alarm and he moved to stand in between Pinepaw and Lilyfang. She looked vaguely familiar- had he seen her somewhere before?
“What are you doing on ThunderClan territory?” He mewed guardedly, his tail lashing. He couldn’t tell if she was living or dead, and he hated the fact that he even had to think about that. He exchanged a worried glance with Pinepaw.
(My other comment didn’t get moderated so here is an updated version)
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw froze at the appearance of a cat from the shadows. Her scent was off, it wasn’t like any of the Clans. He let out a low warning hiss and exchanged a worried glance with Lizardstar. “You’re in ThunderClan territory. I’m going to ask you to leave once before I make you.” He ordered, his claws coming out, trying to hide the quiver in his voice.
We got busy and comments piled up. Sorry about that!
It’s okay!
Lilyfang-
Lilyfang laughed at the apprentice trying to be brave. It would be easy to kill him,he was terrified, and starving like all the others. “You’ll make a good warrior. But strength isn’t everything, young one. What if I was here with important news, and you drove me out before hearing it? That wouldn’t be good.” she sat down, and look over at Lizardstar. “I assume this is your apprentice. I’m sure your training him well.”
Lilyfang-
“I’m just coming to say hello.” Lilyfand stated. “I haven’t got to talk to you yet,Lizardstar.” she smiled a bit wider, noticing the uneasiness written across his face. He was standing in front of the apprentice now,and Lilyfang knew he must care about them. “Perhaps we could talk a while before I have to leave?” she asked, sitting down.
Pinepaw-
“But she’s trespassing.” He said, glancing at his mentor. In a quieter tone he added, “It is just one cat against both of us.”
Lizardstar-
He flattened his ears, considering.
“Wait, Pinepaw,” he mewed, flicking his tail. “We won’t fight unless we need to.” He moved back to stand next to his apprentice, giving him an understanding look. He knew it was worrisome, but they couldn’t afford to use all of their strength chasing out a trespasser. “Tell us- what Clan are you here from? I can’t seem to catch a scent from you.” His voice was laced with suspicion, and he gave the she-cat a glare. “We won’t be talking for long, either- times are hard for all Clans, and I’m sure your Clan will be missing one of their warriors. Assuming you are coming here from another Clan, that is.” He unsheathed his claws in a warning.
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw nodded, prepared to take cues from his mentor. He waited, tense, for the cat’s answer.
Lilyfang-
“I’m from BoneClan-well,I used to be.” Lilyfang inspected Lizardstar, still smiling. His claws didn’t scare her, neither did the apprentice. They weren’t at their strongest. “What if I was from the Dark Forest,mh?” she stood up,her eyes glittering. “Would that scare you?” she asked, walking closer. “I’m not hurting you,so why should it matter? Perhaps I was wrongly sent to the Dark Forest, and I’m harmless.” Lilyfang was so close that her and Lizardstar’s muzzles were almost touching. The cats stood in silence for a while, tension in the air. “Well?”
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw looked wide-eyed at the she-cat, who at this point he was sure was from the Dark Forest and wondered what his mentor would do. Everything in him screamed for him to either attack or run, but he would do neither without Lizardstar’s permission.
Lizardstar-
Lizardstar felt his heart drop as she mentioned BoneClan. He had been right, after all. He curled his lip at her, fighting the urge to rake his claws across her face.
“No BoneClan cat could wrongly be sent to the Dark Forest, you fox-heart,” he hissed. “I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. If you can’t prove to me beyond a doubt that you mean no harm right this second, Pinepaw and I will tear your second life from you.” The old familiar wheezing in his chest rose again, and he tried desperately not to show his nervousness. He had had problems with his lungs since he was an apprentice- it stemmed from his anxiety, he knew that much. This sinister she-cat wasn’t exactly helping that situation much, but he had learned a long time ago that there was never a time nor a place to let his anxiety get the better of him.
Lynxshard-
Lynxshard watched silently from the trees above the scene. This could not end well for the ThunderClan cats. They were weak and starving, and Lilyfang would easily kill them both once she got her chance.
Unless I interfered, I guess. she thought. But… why should I? They forgot me only a few moons after I disappeared- died during training in the Dark Forest. But the Dark Forest isn’t great either. When I first started training, I thought I was helping my clan… but I wasn’t.
If I help these cats, I will be atoning for my mistakes… but also throwing myself right in the path of Loststar’s wrath. No matter how much I wish it was different… I’m a bit of a coward. I’m scared of what Loststar might do if I help ThunderClan.
What should I do? Let my birth clan die, or risk destruction?
Lilyfang-
Lilyfang laughed, her claws coming out. “I don’t think you and your weak apprentice could kill me, Lizardstar. You two aren’t exactly the strongest right now,are you?” She lunged at Pinepaw, her claws raking the toms muzzle. Turning around, she bit down on the leaders front left leg, delighted as she felt blood on her tongue. “See?” with that, she bounded through the trees, heading for ShadowClan territory.
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw flinched but ran after her, tumbling through the undergrowth. It was hard to track a cat with no scent though.
Lynxshard-
A robin twittered on a branch a few trees over from her. I can do this for ThunderClan, at least. She climbed over, broke the bird’s neck, and then soundlessly dropped the prey behind Lizardstar and his apprentice. Then, with a flick of her tail, she vanished into the trees.
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw chased her, losing track of where he was before he caught scent of ShadowClan and halted right at the border. He turned and headed back to his mentor. “I chased her all the way to the border and los–” He cut himself off at the scent of freshkill. “Did you catch something while I was gone?” He asked, peering around, excitement coloring his tone. He spotted the robin and let out a purr.
Lizardstar-
Lizardstar hissed in pain, surprised. He attempted to chase after Pinepaw and Lilyfang but quickly realized that the wound on his leg hindered him.
“Wh-” he turned, spotting the robin with a jolt of surprise as Pinepaw arrived. “I… No, I didn’t,” he mewed, confused. His pain was momentarily forgotten and he leaned down to sniff the fresh-kill. Did somecat leave their prey behind when they had gone hunting? No- this hadn’t been there a moment ago. He looked up at the trees searchingly- was StarClan watching over them? He turned back to Pinepaw, mind reeling. First Dark Forest cats, now it’s raining prey? He let out a small wheezing breath- he was grateful for the prey, but where in the world had it come from?
Pinepaw-
Pinepaw stared at the prey, puzzled. If Lizardstar didn’t catch it, then who did? He picked up the robin anyway and mumbled around it, “You should probably get back to camp to be looked over. Do you need to lean on me?” He struggled to speak with a mouthful of feathers. The kits will appreciate these.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw wandered into the forest, sniffing the air for prey. As she reached the other cats, she froze, her eyes widening with dismay at the wound on her leader’s leg. “Oh no,” she said, glancing around at the forest nervously, “What happened?”
(So sorry for the late reply aaaaaaa)
Lizardstar-
“I’ll be alright, I just need to rest. No need to waste herbs on a minor thing like this,” he mewed distractedly. He felt stupid- how had he let himself freeze like that? He flattened his ears. shaking his head. “I… Yes, please. And, when we get back to camp, would you share that with Icesnout? You two need it more than I do.” He smiled, leaning gratefully on his apprentice’s shoulder.
Pinepaw-
He smiled at his mentor, knowing he must be overthinking the battle and glanced at Rowanpaw. “We just had a scuffle with a Dark Forest cat, she went running onto ShadowClan’s territory though.” He explained.
Rowanpaw-
“Oh, okay,” Rowanpaw replied, shuffling her paws awkwardly, “Well, I’m glad she didn’t do anything too serious.” Should we try to warn Shadowclan? she wondered, then shook her head. It’s probably too late. Besides, they can take care of themselves. “Well, I’m going to go look for some more prey,” she added, turning back towards the forest.
Pinepaw–
He nodded, “Be careful out there,” he warned her.
Rowanpaw-
“I will,” Rowanpaw replied, nodding as she slunk deeper into the forest, sniffing for prey.
Pinepaw-
He headed back to camp with Lizardstar leaning on him.
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw sniffed at the air, wrinkling her nose at the scent of rotting prey. She almost wished she had followed Lizardstar and Pinepaw back to camp, but she needed to provide for her clan. Besides, they were probably busy or something.
“Come on, surly there must be something out here,” she muttered, searching the trees for any signs of birds.
Snowrunner-
This was it.
Soon, ShadowClan and ThunderClan would infiltrate BoneClan’s camp to save Minnowstar, then they would assist RiverClan and WindClan in battle.
Or… What was left of them.
Taking a deep breath, Snowrunner followed Lizardstar towards the border, determined to end BoneClan’s reign of terror before the sun rose.
For my Clan.
For Honeypaw.
We will not fail this time…
Pinepaw-
He padded into the forest, leaves crinkling under his paws and he glanced at Lizardstar. “What’s the plan? How are we approaching?”
Lizardstar-
He nodded as Lynxshard melted away into the shadows, leading the patrol into the forest towards the BoneClan border. He gave Pinepaw a nod, flicking his tail. His mind worked quickly- he knew this territory, and there was little room for error. A plan formulated itself quickly in his head.
“We’ll walk along the BoneClan border until ShadowClan arrives- we act no different than a border patrol. As far as they know, we have no idea that RiverClan and WindClan are in danger. Once ShadowClan joins us, we drop the act and cross the border. Stay low and move carefully between patches of undergrowth. Snowrunner, Roseshade, and Tumblefeather will climb the trees and wait above the BoneClan camp, while the rest of the patrol surrounds the camp and rushes inward. Rowanpaw, Pinepaw, you’ll be waiting- hidden- outside. While we distract the warriors in camp, the three tree-climbers will dart down and take Minnowstar. Snowrunner, Icesnout, Rowanpaw, and Pinepaw will take her back to our camp while we move on to RiverClan.” He took a deep breath, lowering his voice as they neared the border. “Let’s hope StarClan and time are on our side.”
Pinepaw-
A pang of annoyance hit him, I have been an apprentice for almost 7 moons and he still doesn’t trust me to join the fight? He gave a nod to his mentor, If the battle starts to go badly I won’t abandon them. He decided, he might not be much help but he was another cat.
(Shadowclan’s ready to go, should they come to this tab or do we all just meet at Boneclan?)
Rowanpaw-
Rowanpaw glanced sideways at Pinepaw, wondering if he was thinking the same thing she was. It didn’t sound like they were going to get to do much actual fighting, but at least they had a job.
“Alright,” she said, nodding.
(i think we meet at BoneClan)
Lillypetal-
Lillypetal raced through the forest, not knowing that she went into BoneClan territory
I hve no idea where boneclan is and if its next to thunderclan or not(It’s next to ThunderClan and RiverClan)
Hat~
Hat looked around. She had to find Mr. Tibbles. She had heard that he was around here somewhere… But where? That was a good question.
Hat had always dreamed of learning from the loner.
“Where is he?” she mumbled to herself. She had no idea, but she hoped to find him soon…
[mr tibbles is everywhere
mr tibbles is love
mr tibbles is life
all hail mr tibbles]
[and linda]
Mr. Tibbles-
He sat alone under a small bramble bush.
“You did as much as you could, for now, my dear- it’s alright.”
He sighed, glancing down at Linda. Her words offered comfort, yes, but he knew that he could still do more- but what?
“It’s just like before. Do you think… Do you think that they’re of the same background?”
“Maybe.”
“I can’t let them kill everything. Not again. I have to protect them.”
“You will, dear- I know it.”
“I didn’t protect you. How do you know?” His voice broke, and he squeezed his eyes shut. Agonizing memories raced through his mind.
“It… It wasn’t your fault, W-”
“Shush! Somebody’s coming.” His head shot up, and he squinted into the rain. “Who’s there?” The memories receded. The conversation was all but forgotten.
[nooo please dont cry mr tibbles :C]
(mr tibbles is sad :c )
(i want to hug mr.tibbles)
Hat~
“Mr. Tibbles?” Hat asked, padding toward at the tired-looking cat. “Is it really you? Are you okay?”
(sad man needs a hug, but is also too crazy to realize it :(( )
Mr. Tibbles-
“What? Yes, it’s me- I’m fine. Chipper as a chickadee,” he mewed, slightly dazed. “What brings you here, Hat? The forest’s not a very friendly place at the moment. Besides, it’s raining- here, I’ll scoot over so you can get out of the storm.” He moved over so that the she-cat could join him under the shelter of the brambles. Linda quickly darted to hide behind him, nose twitching anxiously as she glanced between the two of them.
Hat~
“Mr. Tibbles, I have come to seek an apprenticeship. I come from far away,” Hat explained, sitting beside Mr. Tibbles. “I wish to learn, but it seems like a bad time…”
Hat stared blanking at a puddle in the distance, hoping Mr. Tibbles would accept her request. If he didn’t, she didn’t have a backup plan.
Mr. Tibbles-
“An… apprenticeship?”
That was it. The breaking point. A flood of jumbled memories came pouring into his mind, and he stiffened, eyes flashing.
“I can’t curse you with the same fate as mine,” he breathed. “I made a mistake. A long, long time ago, in a place very, very far from here. I came here because I couldn’t let the Clans go through what I did.” He spoke rapidly, turning sharply to face the she-cat.
“Where do you come from?”
Hat~
Hat’s heart dropped, for two reasons. First, she had been denied apprenticeship… But secondly, she could tell that the wise Mr. Tibbles was hurt. She didn’t want to push him, but she didn’t want to leave either. So she answered his question.
“I come from a forest, much like this one, but different. I lived in blissful peace… But I was miserable. I know I had everything I needed, but I was so miserable.”
Hat paused, before counting.
“I would really like to learn from you. My mentor taught me nothing more than hunting… But I can tell your hurt and if you don’t want to be my mentor, I’ll go back to my old forest.”
Hat prayed to the StarClan that the loner would help her. She did not want to return home…
(asdfgshfa I’m so sorry for the late reply hhh)
Mr. Tibbles-
He listened carefully, ears twitching occasionally.
“Sometimes peace is the bitterest punishment of all,” he murmured. “I know that very well. I’d never ask any cat to go back to their misery.” He sighed.
The air was cold and silent.
“Let me go!” The tom stared up at the moon, tears streaking down his face. The stone around him was stained with long-dried blood, moons old by now, but the rain failed to wash it away. It had soaked deep into the ground, a permanent reminder of what he had lost. What he could’ve prevented. He cast a glance into the corner at the pile of bones that lay there- too large to be prey bones. Oh, how he wished they could’ve been prey bones. But no- he was painfully aware of what kind of creatures those bones belonged to. A skull, cracked and worn and yet fairly clean, sat in front of the pile, along with three smaller ones. He pulled them close and curled around them, ragged, heaving sobs emanating from his jaws as he turned again to scream at the moon.
“Why me? Why?”
The moon, half-full and glowing coldly, gave no response.
It was peaceful here, in most regards- plenty of prey, good shelter, everything he needed. And yet, his crazed eyes suggested he lived in a place much different than here. His claws were frayed from scrabbling pointlessly against stone day after day, his fur ragged and filthy from a lack of grooming- he was at war in a place of peace.
A shudder wracked his body and Linda nuzzled into his fur with a tiny sigh, her eyes squeezed shut tight.
“Look, Hat,” he began, his voice uncharacteristically exhausted. “I can only teach you so much. If I taught you everything, you’d suffer just the same fate as mine, and that’s the last thing that I want. I will teach you to communicate with the stars and to see the ghosts that wander this forest as shadows. I’ll teach you on one condition.” He stared intensely at the she-cat, eyes flashing. “You will not kill or hurt any single living cat in this forest or outside of it.”
[MR TIBBLES I LOVE U]
(I already replied. Not sure why it didn’t appear…)
[noo mr tibbles! :C mr tibbles sad we all sad]
(I haven’t checked this page in a while and I come back to see you’ve started a Mr. Tibbles cult. May I join?)
(ALL MAY JOIN THE MR TIBBLES CULT)
(I will honor Tibbles respectfully. Also, ignore my other comment asking to join the cult,I couldn’t find this one.)
(lets switch to Bone forest)
Lillypetal-
She stalked through the woods and let out a soft sigh. “Forest!” she yelled. “Yeah?” “We don’t need a patrol, we can go ourselves, get raven.”
Few minutes later, they were ready
Ivykit~
Ivykit followed the silver tabby she-cat through the forest. Silently watching her with her violet eyes. There was no way the cat, whatever her name was, would spot her. She had made sure the wind was on her side and that her steps were silent. In Ivykit’s opinion, she was better than many of the warriors in the ThunderClan. She had snuck away from her boring mom once again…
Lillypetal-
Lillypetal stalked through the night. She heard a little squeak and turned around to see a tiny little kit. “Ivykit!” She exclaimed, “Are you part of my hunting patrol?” She looked into the kit’s violet eyes. “Well I suppose I can show you around, I was as adventurous as a kit like you!” She laughed leading Ivykit into the hunting grounds.
Ivykit~
Ivykit’s eye widened. She had been caught! But this cat seemed to know what she was doing. Ivykit knew she would learn from her.
“Okay!” Ivykit smiled. “Let’s go hunt!”
Lillypetal-
Lillypetal lead Ivykit into the training grounds, then she scented something, badger! She thought. “Ivykit!” Go back to camp! Now!” Lillypetal frantically looked around, not knowing the badger was right behind her.
Ravenflight-
Ravenflight watched as the badger slowly crept up on Lillypetal. He had flashbacks of when Kestrelsong died. She was in this spot, this spot only. “Don’t touch her!” He snarled jumping out of the bushes, clawing the badgers neck with all his might. But the badger still fought for Lillypetal for his prey. Just as the badger was about to kill Lillypetal Ravenflight jumped in front of her, taking the killing blow.
Lillypetal-
