Light and Darkness
A long, long time ago, when there was nothing, two spirits emerged. One was a she-cat with fur as white as snow and eyes as blue as the sky, the other a tom with fur as black as night and eyes as red as blood.
They were Light and Darkness, the two Spirits of Balance.
For a hundred years, they fought, and eventually Light triumphed, and Darkness was banned to exile in the darkest, deepest abyss. Light created the world as we know today.
Thousands of years later, Light and Darkness passed their spirits to twenty cats each, controlling them and their thoughts and actions. Some cats, five of Light and five of Darkness, rebelled. They were known as the Outcasts and were never seen again.
But after that, the world fell into chaos. The land became black and rotten, and many cats died. The survivors were hopeless and afraid.
But legend speaks of a legendary gemstone that would bring order to all of the land. It was hidden in the darkest abyss, full of treacherous landscapes and twisting caves.
Only the bravest enter.
This reminds me of The Longest Journey (it’s a game)

CAT NAME: Speckled Shadows
CAT GENDER: Female
RANK: Leader (ThistleClan DOES believe in StarClan and loves and cherishes StarClan but does not use proper names, although StarClan is okay with that since ThistleClan still honors StarClan)
CAT FUR COLOR: tortioseshell (with icy blue eyes)
CAT PERSONALITY: cold and bitter, but also has a loving side and cares about her Clanmates
Speckled Shadows padded through the woods that should have burnt. She twitched an ear at the prey who should have died. She eyed the herbs that should have turned into ashes.
“No Clan knows I am here.” her cold voice echoed. “I thank StarClan this ragged place is still alive.” Speckled Shadows mewed. The tortoiseshell she-cat’s icy blue eyes dropped. “I will create a new Clan. This is now known as ThistleClan.”
“I am done with Scourge.” she hissed. “Pity he left me with just one meal. Scourge never knew that Socks had told me that he’d feed me to the dogs if I didn’t do what he said.” Speckled Shadows spat on the ground. “I tried to tell that to the old sootface, but did Scourge listen? No!” the tortoiseshell she-cat’s claws raked against the dry grass. “Lucky I fell in that moon-old deerskin-splattered mud-permanently changed my coat. StarClan knows how my eyes changed.” She double-checked the area to make sure no cat was around.
