Anyone here read How to Excavate a Heart by Jake Maia Arlow? If not, totally recommend. It is a little inappropriate tho, so beware :p

Has anybody read The Guardian Herd? If not, I really recommend it!
Nope! What’s it about?
It’s about a five herd of pegasi and in one of them is a foal called Star and he will revive starfire ( like a magical power kinda) on his first bday but the leader of his herd wants to execute him becuase he will either become the healer or the destroyer! I recommend it!!!!!

My friend read A Horse Named Sky, and she told me she was crying by the end of it. My best friend reads Spirit Animals, and I feel like I’ve seen a dogs purpose somewhere

GUARDIAN HERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone here read The Illuminae Files? I just finished book 1 (in French ofc :p) and it was SOO good wgdkahdkahfhdj I I’m dying rn
Am I the only one who ships KadyXAIDAN? I know it’s weird to ship someone with an AI but it was so well written and I love it <33
I haven’t, but I might put it on my
already too longTBR list 🙂That sounds great!
I have! They were a pretty fun read, I didn’t get very invested in any of the ships though 😛 the first one is my favorite, I’m a sucker for the contagious diseases on spaceships trope.
Ops on WoF?
Great series, altho it’s not my favorite (not the books’ fault, I just couldn’t get into it)
I love it!
Very fun series!
amazing series <33
I love it, but as I’m getting older it’s just not for me anymore. Is anyone going to watch the tv show?(when it comes out in 25 years/hj) Does anybody else think that Bumblebee and Auklet would be besties if they ever met?
A TV SHOW!? YES OFC. and I never thought about bumblebee and auklet but since they both teeny bebes probably!
I love it! It’s my second to Warriors:D
My fave character is either Turtle, Glory, or Qibli! What about yall?
has anyone read any of the books i’ve read?
Young Sherlock Holmes
The Inheritance games
The Testing
Watership Down
Small Spaces
just to say, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone younger than 13.
Haven’t read any, but I have The Testing on my to-read list!
I’ve read most of Watership Down and I’ve watched the movie multiple times!
cool! I’d love to watch the movie some time ^^
I’ve read the Inheritance Games :DD
ooh, who are your favourite characters?
Avery :PP I also like Xander and Grayson!
The Inheritance Games 😀
Read like 10 chapters of watership down and got bored of it soo yeah…
I’ve read the first books of the first two!
I read the testing and I’m in the middle of the inheritance games right now!
Anyone hear read either Wings of fire “Talons of power” or Lewis Louliry the “Willoughbys?” Totally recommend it
Talons of Power is probably my second favorite book in the WoF universe! Turtle’s pov is soooo interesting, and there’s so many turns!
Has anyone read the Sunbolt Chronicles, by Intisar Khanani? It’s a really interesting book series, and I would love to find out if anyone else has read it! Oh, and you have, please no spoilers, I’m still on the first book! 🙂
I am still reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I don’t know why it’s taking me this long to read. My goal is to finish it today. But, I am also reading a John Grisham book called The Firm that’s a fairly hard read and the second Kane Chronicles, The Throne of Fire, which has taken me a while to read too. I’m gonna start the second Batman Scooby Doo Mysteries comic. Anybody read that? It’s super fun and cute. I used to be a big Scooby Doo fan when I was a kid and I love Batman now so it’s fun. I finished the ninth I Survived yesterday but it took me 3 days to finish. It never takes me that long to finish an I survived. Maybe I’m in a reading slump.
The Kane Chronicles is really fun, I read one of the graphic novels when I was like 6, not realizing what the heck it was about😛
Y’all I just finished reading The Giver for school and omg I LOVE IT SO MUCH (aaahhh I forgot to check out the sequel!!! Better do that tomorrow :p) Not really inappropriate but it does have some sorta mentions of death and pain and stuff like that so maybe 10+ or 8+ if ur more mature :p
I love that book! It’s dystopian vibe is very unique and thrilling.
*Its
I love the Giver!! There are actually four books – The Giver, Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son and they were all soooo good (i sobbed at Messenger tho)
Ahhh yes The Giver is soooo good ahfkahdsksh I absolutely loved it!
The Giver is such a good book! I reread it recently, and I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’m looking forward to advertising my upcoming novel on here ^^
Anyone into the following?
– The Hunger Games
– Stranger Things
– The Giver
– The Girl who Drank the Moon
My novel is in a dystopian-thriller style, so just wondering what y’all’s thoughts on the genre is 😀
OMG the girl who drank the moon!!!! it has been a hot while since i’ve read that but i was and am still in love with it <33
You’re getting a novel published!? That’s so amazing, and won’t we discover your real name if you do that?(unless it’s under a pen name) I’m excited to hear more about this!!
It’s going to be under a pen name!
I love the Hunger Games, Giver, and the Girl who Drank the Moon!!
I LOVE dystopian thriller!! Dystopian is one of my favorite genres!!
Haven’t read dystopian in a while, but I love the genre!!!! 😀 and I’ve read the Hunger Games
I’ve read The Hunger Games, and I loved the first two books. The third was… less good but I got through it. The Giver isn’t my style. And I’ve also read The Girl Who Drank The Moon, but once again, it wasn’t my style. I like my books fast-paced
And whenever you start recommending your book- do you use a pen name? if not, you might want to consider sneaking it in with other recommendations, in order to disguise your real name 😀
I would love to read it though!
Although- congrats on writing a book! That’s really great
Thanks! (And yes, I’m using a pen name:D Only the mods and my IRL friendos on here know my real name)
I love love loveeeeeeee The Hinger Games, and have The Giver and The Girl Who Drank the Moon on my TBR list 😀
I LOVE dystopian thriller, it’s definitely one of my favourite genres!
Emmz is the second quote in your name from One of Us is Lying?
I like The Hunger Games and The Giver :))
Yooooo i just got my first guardian herd book!!!!!
yay! I’m so happy for you! I love those books:D
I saw you mentioned them in your biTs interview and also Moon’s and also saw it mentioned a few other times i thnk, and I was like “These books seem pretty popular on the Blog, let’s read them!” The blurb also says perfect for fans of Warriors, Wings Of Fire and Guardians of Ga’Hoole, all three of which I adore sooo yeah.
Yay!!!!!!!! That’s my 2nd favorite book series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been rereading Aru Shah! It’s been a year since I last read them, so I forgot pretty much everything. I finished book 4 a couple days ago, and now I’m taking a break to read Wind. But I highly recommend it. It has the same energy as Percy Jackson, just with Hindu mythology. One thing the author, Roshani Chokshi, does really well is showcase all the characters, flaws AND strengths. It isn’t just Aru doing every heroic thing. The other characters all have their moments to shine, and they all feel so real. Plus, it’s hysterical. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve laughed out loud.
I remember really enjoying those when I read them!
Sameeeeeee! I first read them when i was 9 or 10 (I remember it was during remote learning) but they were too scary so noooo. Then a few week ago i had a dream featuring one of the characters, so i got the audiobooks and am now on number 3!!! They’re amazinggggg!
Oh yeah i was 10, i remember because I had to wait til #4 came out… and then it wasn’t even good💥🔥💥🤯/lh
I’ve been wanting to read that book, especially as someone who is South Asian! My friend says it really awesome, and now I have your opinion too!
