Housekeeping Rules
- Include content warnings if necessary! This can be things like graphic violence, death, sexual content, etc. If you wouldn’t recommend it to a young kid without warning them what’s coming, then include content warnings!
- Try to keep non-book chatter out of this page! It can be redirected to the Tavern.
- Try to keep Warrior Cats chatter out of this page! We’re here to highlight books aside from the cats we know and love, so you can head over to the Sunning Patch or the Elder’s Den to discuss Warrior Cats!
- Fanfiction recommendations are allowed but fanfiction advertisements are not! This means that while you can recommend someone or your own fanfiction to other people, you cannot announce or remind people of a new chapter release on this page. You may do so on the Fan Fiction page.
Winter Turning graphic novel
Hi guys I love the Baby-Sitters Club, Spirit Animals, Harry Potter and Wings of Fire. I also used to read a lot of Guardians of Ga’Hoole before.
Spirit Animals and Wings of Fire are pretty good ^^
Don’t know much about the others, other than Harry’s cousin is basically a pig in disguise.
I love Wings of Fire and Guardians of Ga’hoole!!!!!! 😀 I’ll make sure to check out Spirit Animals, soon
Yes WoF!

I’ve read a bit of the Magisterium series, it’s super good!!!!!!!!!!
I got a new book today! It’s called “Wild Is The Witch” By Rachel Griffen. Has anyone read it? What’s it like?
Exciting! I haven’t read it, I’m not much into witch-type books, but that sounds cool!
Thanks to Cornflower, I’ve been inspired to read The Outsiders. It’s so good.
Has anyone read the “One of us is Lying” series? I’ve read the first two books and they’re literally sooo good <3 if you haven't read them, I totally recommend them but they definitely are a bit darker so just be careful if that makes you uncomfortable
I’ve read the first one! I loved it!
SPOILERS WARNING-
I was convinced it was Addy. tbh
SPOILERS
I knew it wasn’t any of them and tbh i just liked them all so much that i didn’t want any of them to have done it 😛 i wasn’t expecting the twist of the guy who helped with it tho, if you know who i mean
So, um- random books I suggest.

If you like emotional and horror:
Once was a time by Leila Sales

If you like Comedic:
The ‘Captain Underpants’ series by Dave Pilkey
All of the ‘Diary of a Wimpy kid’ books, by Jeff Kinney
The ‘Dog man’ series , by Dave Pilkey
If you like romance:
Momentous events in the life of a cactus, by Dusti Bowling (Cause she falls in love)
The Twilight saga, by Stephanie Meyer (I actually haven’t read it)
…I tried my best, alr?
I LOVE Dog Man. I like most of the Captain Underpants books. Some of the later books are just meh.
If you’re reading Twilight, I’d reccomend it for old apprentices and up
Alright, after reading a bit of The Murder House (Why does it have so many chapters…?) I have concluded: VERY MATURE
I have counted these things for this book: Sexual Content, Use of Swearing, Extensive gore, Mentions of Alcoholic Beverages, Unexpected plot twists
But once you get past that all, It’s a good mystery story, but still not recommended for younger audiences!!!
I haven’t read much of the Onyeka series but I have wanted to read it for a while!
WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT-
This thing exists?!?!?!?! :O

If you like a time-bending historical fantasy novel the blurs the lines between past and present-
– Invictus (again, can’t remember the author, sorry) (TW : death)

Here’s the hypnosis from Goodreads :
“Adeluna is a soldier. Five years ago, she helped the magic-rich island of Grace Loray overthrow its oppressor, Argrid, a country ruled by religion. But adjusting to postwar life has not been easy. When an Argridian delegate vanishes during peace talks with Grace Loray’s new Council, Argrid demands brutal justice—but Lu suspects something more dangerous is at work.
Devereux is a pirate. As one of the outlaws called stream raiders who run rampant on Grace Loray, he pirates the island’s magic plants and sells them on the black market. But after Argrid accuses raiders of the diplomat’s abduction, Vex becomes a target. An expert navigator, he agrees to help Lu find the Argridian—but the truth they uncover could be deadlier than any war.
Benat is a heretic. The crown prince of Argrid, he harbors a secret obsession with Grace Loray’s forbidden magic. When Ben’s father, the king, gives him the shocking task of reversing Argrid’s fear of magic, Ben has to decide if one prince can change a devout country—or if he’s building his own pyre.
As conspiracies arise, Lu, Vex, and Ben will have to decide who they really are . . . and what they are willing to become for peace.”
Hope that helps 🙂
