  • blogclanner since 25/3/2016 who needs to stop thinking about the end of the world and what it feels like to die because it makes her want to cry and she can't cry for absolutely no reason says:

    READ MY NAME.
however hard i try to stop thinking bout it it pops in and drives me crazy. UGH. someone find a way to help me STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS. which means i probably wont be writing any more dark one-shots because they remind me of… this….. AQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    • Maybe you could do something to distract yourself? Reading might be a good thing to do if you need to think about something else for a while. I will pray for you! 🙂
      *Huggles*

    • YOU NEED ONE BIG **HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG**

And a llama, you need a llama.

      I’ll pray too

    • I think about things like that too. I think we all do, from time to time. It’s natural, to realize our own insignificance in the grand scheme of things. Just accept that death is a part of life, and it can come at any time, so you have to make the most of the life you have 🙂

    • Sadly, death is natural. Try doing something you enjoy, and just take some time to relax. I promise to pray for you 💜

    • Like Cyp said, we all have those thoughts ^^ It can be unnerving and scary, but try and appreciate what you do have and live in the moment! *hugs*

    • Don’t worry about it! I will admit that life is short, but that’s a good reason to have fun while it lasts! Just try to think about something else for awhile 🙂 *hugs*

    • Don’t worry about the end of the world. Try watching the episode of Cosmos with Neil TotallynotnamedGrasse Tyson called “The Immortals”. Or if you’re referring to the end of the world in a religious sense, IDK.

    • Try distracting yourself or eating comfort food, or snuggling with puppies! Reading, coffe cake and my pooches always help me, maybe something similar will help you!

  • This is very sad news about my copy of The Apprentice’s Quest.
I am very protective of my books, but I babysit about twelve hours a day for all week but Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. More than once I have went to my books to find half to all of them strewn about on the floor. I keep telling them to back off of my books, but today was crossing the line. They actually tore the back inner flap (where there is text, not on the poster side) for about half an inch to an inch. I got really mad, and I found out that it was a three year old that I watch. So I told them that once and for all, they are not allowed near my books. I got some clear tape and set the book down on the counter, but it was wet, so I snatched it up and the tape fell in my book. I can’t get it out because it would tear the page, but I finally have fixed the tear and it should be okay.
I also woke up at 5:23 in the morning and only got about four hours of sleep, and five for the night before. I have a mouth sore that is actually swollen, so I’m already not so great. Also this morning at 4:30 my dad left to drive my friends’ moms’ car to California and will be gone for a week, so that’s a week at getting up at 5:00 to 6:00 am because my sister won’t sleep after my mom’s gone to work.
StarClan help my poor book… and me.

    • Sorry about your book. Maybe in the future you can keep them in a high place where kids can’t reach them? I hope you’ll be able to sleep better the next few nights. *hugs* 🙂

    • Aww I’m very sorry about your book! Perhaps try to explain to your parents what happened, and try to make a plan. Good luck 💙

    • *hugs and cookies to help you through the week* As a fellow book lover, I’m also very protective of my books. At least it was fixable, though, right?

    • Maybe you could try to put your books somewhere high up where the toddlers can’t reach them? (I’ve had many of these mishaps with my baby brother 😛 ) I don’t know much about mouth sores, but just try to keep your books safe and get more sleep! *hugs*

    • Random StarClan cat: I have a prophecy”In life, there are rough patches, but they won’t last for long. Everything will come out ok. Nothing bad lasts forever” sorry about your book, and I hope you can get more sleep. We’re always here for you!

  • I just got braces and hurt sooooooo bad. All of my friends have perfect teeth, and tomorrow just so happens to be picture day. 🙁

    • Awww I’m sorry. Most of my friends have braces, and they say it stops hurting after a while, until they tighten them, but that’s in the distant future

    • Yeah, sometimes they do hurt, especially when you first get them on. But don’t worry, in a few days you’ll barely notice anything. Good luck with picture day, and remember braces are extremely normal for kids and teenagers to have, you’ll look just fine with them! 🙂

    • Don’t worry. Braces feel like heck the first day or two (IT HURT TO EAT COOKIES! COOKIES!) but after a while you get used to it. You may also get scratches inside your mouth but don’t worry. They go away quickly. *hugs* 😀

    • Aaaa braces! Good luck with those. When I had braces, a lot of kids at my school did too. Is that the case at your school too? I dunno, that made me feel a bit better. And just think, in two short years you’ll be able to say you’ll have perfect teeth too! And you get lots of excuses to eat ice cream, which is something 🙂 *hugs*

    • Don’t worry, braces only hurt for the first few days! You’ll do fine on Picture Day! (I actually find myself looking better with braces 😛 )

    • The first time i got braces, I couldn`t eat eggs they hurt so much. Do you know how soft eggs are? Anyway, you get used to it… eventually. I`ll have to do picture day with braces on too. Not very excited for that. Anyway, don`t eat star bursts……. I popped a wire doing that. I guess it was on the list of things not to eat but…. i couldn`t resist! Anyway, good luck with your braces! Hugs!

  • AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I START SCHOOL NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Though on the bright side, it’s my senior of highschool……)

  • I haven’t started school yet, but I don’t want the summer to end:(😾😾😾😾😿😿😿😿😿😿😿

  • Hi BlogClan, sorry for not coming in for a while.

Recently, an online friend of mine (she has social anxiety) had a bad day on her first day of school. She was extremely depressed over it, and seriously wanted to die because of it. I tried to lighten the mood with humor, but she said ‘If you’re going to take my feelings as a joke then leave’

I didn’t mean to do that, but I left anyway. Why? Because if I stayed, I would have started a flame war of monumental proportions. But I had to get some anger over being slighted somehow… that’s when things take a turn for the dark. I had a habit of giving myself a small scratch when frustrated, but this went well beyond that. Now I have some cuts on my arm. They’ll heal pretty quickly, but still. I think I might have a problem- who cuts themselves with their own nails over a single comment?!

    • Sometimes depressed people can be very hard to not offend. First you should apologize, even if you feel you’ve done nothing wrong. It will probably make your friend feel better. I think you should show sympathy and support and let your friend know you care about her. Even though this might mean you don’t have much to talk about, it is better to avoid conflict.

As for you, you need to take care of yourself before you talk to her again. Wait a few days, until you feel better, and then try to be as nice as possible. I will pray for you and your friend. Please know that BlogClan cares for you! 🙂

    • Even though you have nothing to apoligize for, I sugest you explain what you meant to your friend. Make sure a responsible adult knows about his/her situation.
About you, making a mistake is no reason to hurt yourself! If you do feel like this is a progressive issue, please ask an adult for help. We care about you, so please care about yourself 💜💙💜

    • *big hugs for you and your friend* Sometimes it’s hard to get your tone understood online. I think you should go back and try and explain to your friend, it might help!

And also please tell an parent/trusted adult about hurting yourself. We care about you lots, Blizzard, and even if it doesn’t seem like that huge of an issue now, it’s much better to deal with it before it becomes a bigger problem. <3 *more hugs*

    • I’m sorry. The bad things in life effect you ten times more then the good things. I would have tried to make her laugh too, so it happens. But if she was really going as far as thinking death, try to convince her not to if you ever chat soon. Also, when you do, you may want to apologize, I know the jokes where not bad, as I said, I would have done the same thing, but it may make her feel better. Also assure her that your always there for her that, may help. About the scratching, wash them with water so the don’t get infected, and keep them clean. Habits give you something that you know when you are stressed, or upset, so it’s pretty natural for you to have scratched yourself when you were so caught up in the comment, next time try to be a bit more aware, and when you see blood, stop. Hope this helped! :Huggles:

    • Explain what you meant to your friend, and if she’s a true friend, she will forgive you. And try finding other ways to relieve anger/stress other than cutting. What are things you like to do? Drawing? Running? Try something. Also, keep your nails short so you can’t use them to cut.

    • Thanks for all the advice blogclan. I’ll try talking to my friend in the next couple of days. And hopefully, i’ll be able to kick the habit of scratching over the school year.

    • Aww. I feel so bad. And the scratching thing, I had a classmate in first grade that would take out his anger on himself, but he got over it. I think the same should happen for you.😍😍

    • This is what you need to do. This is called ACT. First you acknowledge that what she’s dealing with is serious. Next show that you care about about her. You can tell her, hug her, whatever. Next tell a trusted adult. This could be a teacher, guidance counselor, administrator, social worker, police, any adult that you trust. This is very serious and you need to act right away.

    • Try to explain to your friend you were trying to help her, instead of hurting her. And you might want to talk to a trusted adult like a parent about the scratches, and maybe you’ll be able to get some help with that.
