“GO SAY SORRY TO HER” she meowed. the three kits padded towards the nursery. and Owlsplash watched them go.

Fallendusk carried in a vole, heading into the elders den, hoping to see Littlebrook. “Littlebrook? Are you in here? I brought fresh-kill and I’d like to speak to you..”
Rainstar walked out of her den, and smelled the fresh morning air. She cleared her throat so every cat could hear her and spoke. “Suncliff, Winderdrop, Autumnpool, and Bouldercrash, go on the dawn patrol. Streamhop, go with them and teach them that new hunting tactic you learned. Very clever.” She shot a look of approval at Streamhop, a senior warrior she could always count on. “Mentors, take your apprentices out to work on some battle training. We never know if that fox could be back. Fallendusk, take Springpaw with you as well as Honeypaw since Streamhop will be out hunting.” She looked over at the apprentices who were bouncing on their paws, eager to get going. “Owlsplash, will you come to my den? I need to speak with you.”

Owlsplash headed towards her leaders den. she waited there until Rainstar came into the den. Owlsplash dipped her head “Why did you need to talk to me,” the queen asked
~Streamhop~
streamhop led the patrol across their territory and to the edge of it.
“I can’t believe I have to roll in mud again” she heard suncliff mutter, Bouldercrash obviously heard it too because he asked.
“What did you say?”
“Oh it’s just that Streamhop’s amazing new hunting Technique involves you roiling in mud” she meowed
“Come on, it’s not that bad and besides it works” Streamhop meowed to her grumpy sister.
“Excuse me?!?” Bouldercrash asked
“Nothing we just need to find a huge puddle for you,and a nice patch of mint for Suncliff” she meowed then continued to lead the cat’s across the border. once made it all across the border she stopped at a huge puddle, streamhop jumped straight in and covered her fur in mud disguising her sent. she then rolled a few nuts in a pile.
“EVERY ONE HIDE” she instructed, Streamhop his in a nearby bush and waited. soon a mouse cam looking for the nuts. streamhop quickly pounced killing the mouse.
“See” she meowed she rolled the nuts into a pile and did the same thing again, this time she caught a squirrel.
“Everyone spread out and try it” she meowed to the patrol. she picked up the nuts and padded further into the forest. she was proud, she had created a new hunting technique and it worked perfectly. she continued hunting. and soon had a squirrel two mice and a vole. she picked them all up by their tails and walked towards the stream, she dropped her prey and started cleaning herself. she saw Bouldercrash, he nodded to her in approval. she did it, her technique worked and even Bouldercrash thought it was a good one.
“I was going to talk to you about holding your kits apprentice ceremony this afternoon. The mentors I had planned for them are

Flowerkit to winderdrop
And I see brookkit has taken an interest in the medicine den so her mentor would be pebbleskip and rainingmist. I wanted to consult with you before I finialized their mentors. We are running low on warriors so we need every mentor we can get.” Rainstar looked at owlspash expectantly.
“Those are great Mentors, thank you for letting brookkit become a medicine cat apprentice.” meowed Owlsplash “I can also take an apprentice once I leave the Nursery, Just to add another mentor to the already short list” she meowed to her leader. “Thank you for having this conversation with me” she meowed then turned around and padded out of the nursery.
He nodded, signaling for the two cats that were chosen to go with him over, he waited for them to get to him before leaving to the battle-training area, somewhat glad that they’d be training..perhaps it can take Honeypaw’s mind off her guilt

Honeypaw followed Fallendusk out of camp, feeling better, ‘I am just an apprentice’ she tried to convince herself. She slowed down, taking in the forest scents, she came to a halt, lost in thought
He paused, waiting for her to catch up, but when she didn’t, he went back to her and nudged her “Honeypaw? Are you alright?”

Honeypaw jumped when he nudged her, “I’m fine” she said quickly, she started walking back to the Battle-Training area, avoiding Fallendusk’s gaze
“If you’re sure” He went to the training area, waiting for the two to catch up, when they did he motioned for one of them to come a bit closer “Now, try to attack me, okay?”

Honeypaw sized him up, trying to figure out the best plan of attack, ‘hes bigger than me’ she concluded, ‘but that also means he’s slower’ she quickly darted foward, clawed his shoulder, with claws sheathed, and tried to dart away
She was correct, with his own claws sheathed he went to claw her back, but failed due to her small size and speed “Good job Honeypaw, try to attack me again” He prepared himself for her second attack, watching her carefully

Hawkpaw did something stupid and random, trying to make snow in the middle of (Green-leaf or New-leaf, I forgot).

Bouldercrash padded through the woods in search of a mud puddle. he walked up to a huge puddle and started rolling in it. he rolled a few nuts into a pile and hid. but instead of a piece of prey coming for the nuts. a small kit came to the pile. Bouldercrash emerged from his hiding spot and bent down to sniff the kit.
“Hello little one,” he meowed.
“I’m bouldercrash” he continued.
“Do you know where your parents are?” asked the kit, it only shook its head.
“Well then come with me and we’ll get warm and fed” he meowed. then started walking in the direction of the camp.
~Scorchdash~
Scorchdash was returning from a successful hunt and was heavily laden with prey when he came across Bouldercrash and a small kit. Dropping the fat vole in his mouth, he asked, “Who’s that? And who are his parents?”

“I have no idea, he was alone so I thought I might as well bring him here.” he moewed to scorch dash
Silent((kit)) stared at the cat. “What are Parents?”
“What are… Parents?” Silent((kit)) asked Bouldercrash while stumbling over a stone. Were parents something that cats normally had?

“You wait right here, also what is your name?” He asked the kit.
“S-silent is my name” meowed the kit.
“Well, silent, parents are like the cat’s that take care of you when you are a kit, Your mother is the she-cat that gives birth to you. your father is the person that loves your mother with all their heart. and eventually they make kit’s like you, do you know where YOUR parent’s are?” he explained to the kit, Silent shook his head.
“You can stay here for now, until we find your parents, one second” he told Silent. bouldercrash walked over to the nursery, Flowerkit, Smallkit, Lilykit and Brookkit were munching on two mice.
“Hello bouldercrash.” meowed Brookkit.
“Hello, could you come with me, I need to show you something” he meowed to his kits then padded out of the nursery, the four kits followed. once smallkit noticed Silent her ran over.
“HELLO, I’m smallkit, are you new, you sure look new, I Like new kits.” Smallkit meowed excitedly.
“Now now smallkit, give silent some space. let me introduce you to my kits. this is smallkit, flowerkit, lilykit and brookkit, I am their father. Do you still not know who yours is” Silent shook his head.
“Oh well. Kits why don’t you go show Silent around and maybe get him some food” he meowed to his kits.
“Ok” they all meowed then padded away
Rainstar padded out of her den after her talk with owlsplash. She saw the kits running to play and smiled. Wait, was that 5 kits?! She looked closer and saw a 5th kit playing with the usual 4. She trotted over to bouldercrash, who was overseeing the kits. “Bouldercrash, who is that 5th kit, and why is it in camp?!?!”

“I found him in the forest alone, he doesn’t even know his own parents. I had to bring him here, it felt like the right thing to do” he meowed to rainstar

“I’ll go talk to owlsplash” he meowed excitement in his voice. ‘My kits are going to be apprentices sooon’ he thought, his heart bursting with pride.
~Scorchdash~ “Rainstar should know about this. I’ll also talk to Rainingmist to see if she received any signs about this kit.” Depositing his prey on the fresh-kill pile, Scorchdash padded off in search of the leader and medicine cat.
Silent((kit)) wandered around the camp where they now belonged. It felt… like home. Silent((kit)) felt free.
This is home. This is my home. I belong here!
Silent((kit)) thought with joy. He padded along the dusty paths, wondering what would await them.
It’s so free here!
A voice seemed to bubble up in his mind.
But where are those parents Bouldercrash told you about? Where are they?

“Hello there, little one. Are you hungry? I’m sure the others wouldn’t mind if you took some prey.”
Silent’s belly rumbled at the thought, but surely the cats needed all the prey they could get, without a rogue kit eating some. “No thank you, I’m good!”
~Bouldercrash~
“Rainstar has asked me to tell you if you could take care of him for the time being” He meowed to his mate.
“Were is he” asked Owlsplash. Bouldercrash Motioned to the kit.
“Right there” Owlsplash stood up and walked towards silent.
“You must be silent. I’m owlsplash, and I’ll be taking care of you for the time being” she meowed gently yo the kit.
“Go ahead and eat now, your part of the clan now” she meowed
“All members of the clan who can catch their own prey, please come to the highledge.” Rainsrar announced.

Owlsplash looked ready to burst with pride her kits came stumbeling past.
“Look at you, How do you think you’re going to go up in front of you clan looking like you just lost a fight with a squirrel. Come here and let me groom you” she meowed then started grooming her kits.

Bouldercrash watched his mate fussing over her kits.
“Come on Owlsplash, Why don’t you let them enjoy their last days as kits without you grooming them” he meowed to his mate.

“AFTER I’m done grooming them” she meowed to her mate then started grooming her kits again.when she was done she finally let her kits go.
“They look so grown” she meowed to her mate. “You are so right” meowed Bouldercrash
(Also at the start of clan meetings the leader goes like this “May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting” I just wanted to point that out for future reference)
Hawkpaw ran into the clearing, waiting for what Rainstar had to say.
Silent((kit)) also ran into the clearing, he was suddenly hit with the thought of Silent((kit))’s parents. How do I remember what they look like? I haven’t seen them since the battle with the angry cats who said we intruded on their territory. I just barely remember their voices… Silent((kit)) was soon lost in thought, where were they? Why did they tell him to run? Did they run, too?
“Today we are here for these four lovely kits apprentice’s ceremony. Kits, please come to the front of the highledge. Smallkit, please step forward. From now on you will be called Smallpaw. Your mentor will be Suncliff. Suncliff I know you will pass on your skills to Smallpaw.” Rainstar watched as Smallpaw stretched his hind legs to touch Suncliff’s shoulder. “Lilykit, please step forward. You will now be known as Lilypaw. Your mentor will be bouldercrash. Bouldercrash, I know you will train Lilypaw to be the best warrior she can be.” Rainstar looked at Bouldercrash, his eyes were full of pride that he got to mentor his kit. Lilypaw walked over to Bouldercrash and touched his shoulder. “Flowerkit, please step forward. You will now be known as flowerpaw. Your mentor will be winterdrop. Winterdrop, I trust you to teach flowerpaw all that you know about being a great warrior.”Winterdrop leaned down to touch flowerpaw’s muzzle as flowerpaw touched shoulder. “And last but not least, Brookkit please step forward. You will now be known as Brookpaw. Pebbleskip and rainingmist will be your mentors, since you have chosen to train as a medicine cat.” Rainstar watched as Brookpaw walked over to the medicine den unable to contain her excitement and touched both her mentors shoulders. Rainstar smiled at the clan before climbing down into the hollow.

Hawkpaw and Silent((kit)) decide to interact after being in the same place, with no other cats around. Hawkpaw started the conversation, “Hey, uh, nice weather, huh?”
“I guess so.”
“So- How are you on this fine day?”
“It gives me deja vu.”
“What’s that?”
“When you haven’t known something before, but you still know it.”
“I get that when I’m around large pools of water.”
“I get it when I’m in a clearing.”
“We’re really alike, aren’t we!”
“Yes, we really are.” Silent((kit)) ended the conversation with those words.
Rainstar padded of to Owlsplash and waited until she was finished calling out her kit’s names. There’s nothing stronger than a mothers love for her kits, she thought sadly.* She shook her head to clear it and spoke to Owlsplash. “Congrats on your kits.” She mewed softly. “They will make great warriors.” She looked at her intently. “I wanted to think you for taking care of Silentkit until he is apprenticed. I know you wanted to get on with your warrior duties and I’m proud that I have a clan who will put others needs before theirs, especially kits.”
*(rainstar was unable to have kits, that’s why she became clan leader, so she could take care of her clan)

“Thank you rainstar” meowed Owlsplash she padded over to Silentkit and guided him to the nursery.
~Fallendusk~
He was waiting for a chance to talk with Rainstar, he wanted to talk to her about Foxspirit, he was missing him dearly, and needed to talk to somebody about it, and, he trusted the clan leader with the information that he may spill by accident
(Hope you don’t mind this- I need to find a way for Fallendusk to talk about Foxspirit for a future idea I have)

Rainstar noticed the troubled look on fallendusks face as he padded back from training with Honeypaw. “Fallendusk, come to my den. Honeypaw, you can get prey, I’m sure you did a good job as always.” As fallendusk walked towards her she raised her eyebrows in question.

He didn’t respond, he kept the upset face but went with her to her den, once the two got there, he started to speak, instead of him normal collected tone, it sounded more shaky “..Riverstar.. do you remember Foxspirit?”
“Of course! Why? Does he have something to do with you being upset?”
“I miss him..” He remained silent for a bit longer before speaking again, sounding more, angry? “Who killed him? I know his fresh-kill was poisoned..”
Rainstar put her tail tip gently on his shoulder. “I guess we will never know.” She said sadly. “But there’s no time for dwelling on things from the past. I’m sure Foxspirit would want you to move on.”
“No! He wouldn’t want me to move on! And I won’t move on until his killer is exiled!” He said this quite loudly, but not yelling. Moving away from the leaders tail, his sadness fueled his anger even more, he shook his head “I’m going to go hunt” It was a stupid excuse, but he didn’t want to yell at Rainstar, or anyone. He left the den
~Streamhop~
Streamhop noticed Fallendusk, heading out of the Camp. Obviously angry. Streamhop padded up to him ” Hey, Are you alright?” she Asked him.
“No. No I’m not!” He sounded even more angry, his tail flicking with annoyance, he began to storm away and out of camp
~Streamhop~
Streamhop didn’t expect this form her friend.
“YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO SNAP YOU KNOW. YOU COULD HAVE JUST TOLD ME TO LEAVE YOU ALONE” She Snapped at him then dashed off. It was like the sweet and gentle cat was Possessed. “See if I care ” she muttered then went to eat beside her sister.

Honeypaw nodded, knowing that was her signal to leave, she padded over to the fresh-kill pile, and picked up a mouse. She glanced around the camp, looking for someone to eat with

Swanheart looked up from where she was resting at the sound of Owlsplash coming into the nursery, “who’s that?” She asked tiredly, not recognizing Silent(kit)’s scent.

Owlsplash squeezed into the nursery followed by silent(Kit).
“Hello swanheart. This is Silentkit I will be taking care of him until he is apprenticed” She meowed to her friend.

“Hello Silentkit, I hope you like it here” she said, before curling up, she tucked her nose under her tail, trying to get to sleep.

Honeypaw watched Fallendusk and Streamhop argue, before quietly following Fallendusk out of camp. “Fallendusk?” She called quietly, not wanting to startle him
~Suncliff~
Suncliff padded out of camp followed by Smallpaw, he was jumping around excitedly and darting around every where.
“Quiet down or you’ll scare away all the prey” she meowed to the apprentice. Suncliff noticed honeypaw
“Hello honeypaw, do you know where fallendusk is? her could take you battle training with Smallpaw and me” she meowed to Honeypaw.

“I’m looking for Fallendusk right now” she said, “he seemed upset” she lifted her nose to the air, trying to smell him. “Can I go with you to battle training with you anyway?” She asked, giving up trying to find him and wanting to practice
~Suncliff~
“Yes definitely!” she meowed to the apprentice then continued walking to the training hollow followed by smallpaw.
~Fallendusk~
He went farther into the woods, away from his clanmates, he laid down under a tree, taking a few deep breaths, he laid his head down on his paws, counting down 10 to 1, he had a familiar scent surround him, when he looked up, a pale figure was there,.. Foxspirit, Fallendusk jolted up, and blinked, but when he did, the scent and figure disappeared, he was confused, he laid back down, thinking about what happened, and accidentally dozed off, after awhile he woke up, getting up, and he started back to camp
