Featherstar, who found Sunwish’s body?
Spottedshadow, how was Sunwish killed?
Stoneflame, was there any fresh scent in the area that was not hers?
“Stoneflame sent a patrol out at sunset, and instructed Mistynight to lead. Branchbriar, Lightningroar, Lionpatch and Lionpatch’s apprentice, Emberpaw, followed. When they got to the center of our territory, they split up into pairs. It took a while, but Branchbriar and Lightningroar eventually found her in a clearing.” Featherstar replied.
“When the patrol brought her back, there was a deep cut in her neck. Sharp, deliberate. She couldn’t have been fighting with a passing rogue, because there weren’t any scratches on her body anywhere else. Though the wound wasn’t very, very deep. Deep enough that without herbs she would die quickly, but not immediately. Her attacker must have wanted her to hear something before she died,” Spottedshadow answered quietly.
“No, but there were drops of mud on and around her body, like her attacker had rolled in mud to disguise their scent.” Stoneflame replied.
Emberpaw, do you have any ideas as to why Sunwish was killed? And any ideas as to why it was Sunwish in particular and not any other cat?
Featherstar, did you tell Stoneflame to send out the patrol and where(what part of the territory) did they search on? It might give some clues as to who did it.
Branchbriar( love the name btw) did you search the area thoroughly for strange scents?
“Hmm…Sunwish had many good friends in the Clan and all her kin loved her, but a few cats were also very jealous of her; her skills, her respected status, that two toms wanted her as a mate…though I doubt anyone in SwirlClan would kill plainly out of jealousy. Branchbriar is Sheeppaw’s father, and Goosespiral is his mother, either of them could have wanted to kill her out of revenge for failing Sheppaw. They both had been glaring at Sunwish very openly after they announced the results of Sheeppaw’s inspection. And I think it was Sunwish and not any other cat because of the reasons above. She was liked, respected, and had a good status. She also just announced an apprentice failed which hasn’t happened for moons,” Emberpaw replied.
“No, I didn’t. I was talking with Brindleleaf about a dream she had, a message from StarClan. ‘A cat would be murdered to heal an old wound, lay a scar on another cat’s heart, to get vengeance for another event, and to tear the Clan appart.’ As for where, I think in an old clearing in the center of the teritory.” Featherstar answered.
“I did. There was none. Lightningroar thought he found some, but he was either mistaken or lying for some reason.” Branchbriar responded.
“Stoneflame, who was the queen that saw Sunwish leave?” I question.
“Well, it was Sheeppaw’s mother, Frostmist. Frostmist is normally very honest but seeing as her son just failed his warrior assessment, she may have said Sunwish left camp before she did. However, no other cat has been able to contradict her. Her motive for lying about when Sunwish left, I don’t know.” Stoneflame replied.

Wait a sec, this is not a question, but on Snapdragon’s comment u said it was Goosespiral, and here u said Frostmist..
Oh, oops! Thanks for pointing that out 🙂, I totally messed up on that 😛. Sheeppaw’s real mother is Goosespiral.
Sorry Shadowflare, I made a mistake here, Sheeppaw’s real mother is Goosespiral. If you just replace all the ‘Frostmist’s with ‘Goosespiral’s the comment should work just fine 🙂.

Emberpaw, who were the two cats that wanted Sunwish as a mate, and did either of them get her as their mate?
“They were Cloudleaf and Rushlight. Sunwish was always very observant and knew what the two toms felt for her. She was always polite to them, but it seemed she never returned their feelings until recently, when she started being close to Cloudleaf and good friends with Rushlight. She was never fully mates with either though before she died,” Emberpaw replied
As i still have 2 questions i will now use one:
Emberpaw, about a dream, a prophecy says “to heal an old wound, lay a scar on another cat’s heart” as i am suspicious of Sheeppaw’s parents, Branchbriar and Goosespiral, neither of them seem to have left the camp that day… would anyone else in particular have a reason to get revenge on Sunwish? Sheeppaw doesn’t seem uspet about failing and i therefore think his parents might not be angry with Sunwish. Sorry for ranting this is one question.

“Your right about Goosespiral; she was in the camp all day caring for her new litter, or at least, that’s what she says. No cat can prove it. But Branchbriar was out searching for Sunwish. Anyway, back to your question. No, I don’t think any other cat would need revenge, like I mentioned earlier, most cats really liked Sunwish. Oh, and I know this wasn’t your question but I’d probably be misleading if I didn’t say this; Branchbriar and Goosespiral were always two very demanding parents. They expected much of all their kits, and pushed them hard. And both of them were very, very angry with Sunwish when she said Sheeppaw failed,” Emberpaw replied.
Last question; Cloudleaf, did Sunwish mention anything Strange happening lately? Like somecat acting differently towards her ( who Arent Branchbriar of Goosespiral) or cats having Strange conversations or even making outright threats to her? Rushlight, how come Sunwish suddenly became friends with you? Just all of a sudden with no other reason, out of the blue, or was it gradual?
“No, except Sunwish was having an argument with Lightstalk several days before she died. The thing is, the day before her argument she started sharing prey and tongues with me, and I was starting to think we may become mates. Lightstalk is Rushlight’s mother, and a day later, Sunwish started sharing prey and talking with Rushlight too,” Cloudleaf replied.
“It was out of the blue, really. She just walked up to me one day and asked if I wanted to a mouse, and then acted super friendly to me since. Not like she wanted to be mates with me, but friends.” Rushlight answered.
Sheeppaw’s parents, how upset exactly are you about the failed assessment, and are you disappointed in Sheeppaw or Sunwish?
“Sunwish! So Sheeppaw missed a few catches? Every warrior does that! He could defeat any warrior in a practice fight, and his scenting and hearing was flawless. It was entirely that mouse-brained furball Sunwish’s fault that he failed! And I know what you’re going to ask next, why do we think it was Sunwish’s fault other than simply because there was nothing wrong with him as an apprentice? Because Sunwish has a grudge against Goosespiral after she told her brother, Cloudleaf, that she didn’t think Sunwish was a good mate!” Branchbriar and Goosespiral replied.
Sorry, this is the personality of the characters, I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m snapping at you 🙂.

“Rushlight has loved Sunwish for a very long time, in fact he’s admired her since they were both apprentices. In my time, there was a tom I loved very much. Yet, he never noticed me and died in a battle before I ever told him how I felt, it caused me much pain. I didn’t want anything like that to happen to my kit, Rushlight, so I tried to tell Sunwish how he felt, for him. Sunwish nodded and asked me what I was trying to say, and I asked her how she felt about Rushlight, and even went as far as to ask her if she would consider him as a mate. Sunwish got angry and called me an over-protective mother, and said she had a complete right to choose who she wanted as a mate. I argued that no one should feel neglected, like I did, and like I was sure Rushlight felt, and the argument went on like that.” Lightstalk replied.
