The only Clan that seems to be stable is SnowClan, the group that dwells closest to the lake and loves the cold weather. But with an aging deputy who doesn’t make the wisest of choices, grief-stricken apprentices, and elders murmuring of a prophecy, the Clan is not what is once was. Violetfrost is determined to change that. He believes that he can be the deputy his Clan deserves and he can change his Clan for the better. He is a perfect cat for the position – a warrior, fairly young, but wise, cunning, and strongly built. He knows that he is cold sometimes, but wouldn’t he be the best deputy? There’s only one problem: his brother, Fernfall, and his sister, Starrycloud. Fernfall too wants the position of deputy, and he will fight even his brother to gain it. While Starrycloud tries to stop their fighting, all the siblings’ relationship is broken because of a certain death that they all thought they could’ve prevented. Violetfrost must learn to forgive again, LOVE again, to mend his relationship with his siblings and maybe just save his Clan…

I need some random side plot ideas for a story, because my story is pretty empty so far. Suggestions like ‘Cat finds Sea Group (the main group in my story) life isn’t for them’ or ‘Cat is overly ambitious and wants to be leader badly’ is good!

One cat is a leader’s kit an very spoiled.The whole clan is trying to ignore hem.
I don’t know how close to clan life your group is, so some of these might not be applicable, but here are a few thoughts!
-orphaned kit is found and there is drama over which couple gets to adopt them
-ambitious cat wants an apprentice really bad for the sole purpose of becoming deputy, but upon becoming a mentor finds teaching very frustrating
-lonely young cat that doesn’t fit in with others forms a special bond with an equally lonely elder whose kin has all passed away
-cat who suffers from allergies struggles to hunt because they keep sneezing
-the apprentices decide to form their own group and try to succeed from Sea Group
-cat gives birth to kittens but the litter ends up being too large for them to handle
-cat comes up with a new innovation on traditional prey catching techniques
Cat thinks they can see ghosts.
– a cat finds a kit somewhere and raises it like a child, the kit can find out or not
– a cat’s mate/friend/littermate/mentor/parent dies and they dedicate their life to continuing their legacy
– a cat’s mate/friend/lettermate/mentor/parent leaves the group and abandons them without a goodbye or an explanation; they’re still heartbroken or they’ve moved on
– expanding on that, the cat could come back
– two cats end up being family members and they didn’t know it
– two cats who have opposite personalities are best friends
– two middle aged cats are best friends and they like each other, but haven’t been able to admit it all their lives(If this is too much bordering on a love triangle, sorry)
