I decided to start a competition!! So basically there’s this cat in my fanfiction called Ice and he’s going to be a big part of the story, but I haven’t made a backstory for him yet. So whoever makes the best backstory for Ice gets a free character addition into my fanfiction Fading Moon! And they’ll be a supporting character who occurs in most chapters. If you want to enter, then reply to this comment with Ice’s backstory and I’ll announce the winner by the end of the week.
If you come first, you get to add a cat into the story who is important and all your character’s family gets added in too and you can choose what happens to your character. They can be evil, good, a rogue, a kittypet, a Clan cat, they can die, become leader, your choice!

Ice was found, cold and shivering, in a cardboard box just outside of SnakeClan territory. He was only a kit, so a SnakeClan cat named Echo. Echo acted like a foster mother to Ice. One day, Ice found out that he was adopted, and was enraged. He was about to leave SnakeClan for good, to search for his true parents, when Echo was killed by a cat from an enemy clan. Ice then went into a long state of grief, when Echo found her way back to him from StarClan (or whatever afterlife place there is.) and tells him that she is sorry for lying to him. Ice then feels enlightened, and sees bats, (which use ECHOlocation) as Echo still watching over him.

Ice was born a loner with a kittypet father who was never in his life and a mother who never wanted him in the first place. He was a weak kit, with a brother called Fang that constantly bullied him. One day, around apprentice age, he left the hollow log where he lived with his mother and brother to be free from them. He stumbled upon a group of hostile rouges who took him in. There, he was still the underdog. He was made fun of and felt just as hated as he had in his original home. The only cat he was close to was a she-cat called Holly. They became semi-close before Ice left again, tired of being constantly bullied. He was once again just a struggling cat trying to find his place. This is when he stumbled across SnakeClan. He was shown kindness for the first time in his life and was accepted into the Clans. He made good friends with one of the other toms his age. With the kindness he was shown, Ice was finally able to prosper. He became energetic and kind. He still doesn’t like conflict, and is easily pushed around. However, he feels like he belongs somewhere and is needed for the first time in his life.

Ice´s backstory:
Ice was born to two rougues in Snakeclan called Hemlock (mother) and Venom (father) alongside his sister Wynorrific (it means someone who is visually beautiful but you are actually scared of them) they call her Wynni for short. Ice and Wynni´s parents had a toxic relationship and Venom would threaten them often. Hemlock decided to run away so her kits would be safe, but Snake caught her and made Wynni and Ice watch as he killed her. this is what made Ice so easily pushed around. he was scared the same thing would happen to Wynni, so he always does as he´s told to try and please Snake. Venom hates his kits for what happened to Hemlock and he pretends they don´t exist/they are not his kits. (it´s like a Foeslayer + Arctic thing where it is a toxic relationship but they still love eachother) Ice and Wynni both still live in Snakeclan. they would run away if they could, but they stay because of fear of what Snake might do to them.

Icekit was born to Dandelioncloud and Birchfrost in EmberClan alongside his sisters Cloudkit, Frostkit and Primrosekit. At the time Icekit was born DuskClan and StreamClan were locked in a fierce battle for territory and EmberClan had been dragged into it. Dandelioncloud was heartbroken when her brother Wolfsnarl and her sister Frostheart were brutally murdered in a savage attack by supposedly StreamClan and fell into a state of sadness and managed to recover once she had her kits though her sorrow still lingers to this day. As the battles went on Frostkit- struggling with the expectations of Dandelioncloud after being named after her aunt Frostheart- fled EmberClan and stumbled across SnakeClan. Icekit and the rest of his family set out to find Frostkit and found SnakeClan. Dandelioncloud was at first horrified at the state the cats lived in but soon grew to adjust to it- she had given up on the Clan’s way of life and yearned for no more battles. And so Icekit and his siblings became: Ice, Cloud, Primrose, and Frost while his parents became Dandelion and Birch. Ice grew to fear Snake for the tom was blood-thirsty and brutal. When the time came for Ice and his siblings to become To-Bes, Ice, Frost, and Primrose passed but Cloud failed and was exiled (in those days Snake didn’t give them a chance to retry) When Cloud was to be exiled Ice spoke up against it and was punished by Snake by having a snake carved into his paw. Cloud was exiled and Ice found her frozen body in leaf-bare moons after. Mourning for his sister Ice kept his head low and continued with his cheerful and energetic nature not wanting to let anycat down, though let himself be pushed around in the fear that if he spoke up against Snake another member of his family would be exiled or hurt. The arrival of the StarClan Chosen changed everything.
And Dandelion never learned that those who killed her siblings weren’t StreamClan but someone more sinister.
Someone who lies in wait.
Like a snake.

After that, he found a foster mother (probably Misty) and became a good SnakeClan cat. Snake and Slate still hold a grudge against him because of his roots, though.

A SnakeClan cat named Vulture decided to take him in, and name him Ice. However, Ice was in poor condition, and his leg was in terrible shape. But Vulture believed that Ice would survive. Slowly, Ice became better, and could walk, then run, and then leap and hunt. Ice is now a very respected warrior, but his weakness is that he hates water, and frozen lakes. Ice still has scars on his leg, and he sticks near Vulture all the time. (THE END!)

Ice was born into a kittypet family that lived in a small house. Everything was going perfectly until he was six moons old, when the Twoleg house burned down and he escaped with only burns and scars. Unfourtantly, his family all died in the fire. He walked for a long time, and by the time he had found SnakeClan he had been chased by a fox, escaped a pack of rogues that he thought were his friends, seen a loner he had made best friends with get murdered and twisted his leg from a Twoleg monster. By then he was desperate for shelter, warmth, food, but most, of all, safety. He ignored the bad feeling he got from Snake and joined SnakeClan. By this time he was 9 moons, and he was ready to become an apprentice. He soon grew close to a she-cat whose name was Stream, and she adopted Ice, who was like a son to her. She had had a horrible history with her family and was eager to start a new life with her new son. She comforted Ice in the worst of Snake’s wrath. But one cold night, Ice was looking for Stream, only to find her dead body by, ironically, a Stream. The only sign of her death was a small bite, almost impossible to see. It looked like a snake bite, but it had the scent of cat all over it. Ice suddenly realized that the scent was Snake’s, but he knew Snake would kill him if he even came close to telling the secret. So Ice kept it locked inside of him, and gave Stream a proper burial. When he left the stream where she died, he could’ve sworn he saw her starry body float up to the stars, free from pain and darkness. It lifted the weight off his back a little, but inside he was still crushed. He left the secret kept by the stream, but he still stays hopeful that one day a cat-or-cats-will save him from the danger of Snake.
And, maybe one day, he can see Stream again.

However, when Bluepaw became a warrior, she wanted to focus on her Clan and stay loyal. She became mates with a tom named Frogfoot, but she didn’t really like him and she didn’t want to lead him on so she soon ended the relationship. When Blueriver encountered Newt again, she saw he was fighting with a rogue over prey so she helped him. Newt was really happy to see her and they became close again. Eventually, Newt joined DuskClan and changed his name to Newtbelly. Blueriver is currently expecting their first litter of kits.
Other: Blueriver and Newtbelly’s kits are called Lizardkit/leap (brown tabby tom with green eyes), Birdkit/claw (fluffy dark brown tom with lighter brown markings and yellow eyes) and Ripplekit/river(small grey she-cat with purple-blue eyes)
