If you’re organising a group fan fiction project, this is where you can discuss your projects with other writers, or scout for new writers for your project. This is also where you should start new group projects as well, including stories that feature BlogClanners. Happy writing!

Wattpad provides an excellent platform for reading and sharing fan fiction. You might wish to use that instead to share your stories. I am not favouring Wattpad. It’s the only one I know of, and I’m sure there are many other platforms out there you might prefer. It’s up to you!
If you can’t make an account on any site, you may use justpaste.it! If you only have access to Google Docs, then you must use a blog email to make the document or link a web-published version of your document. To make a web-published version, set the doc to be viewable by anyone with the link, then go to “File” -> “Share” -> “Publish to web” and click “Publish”, then copy the link provided (it MUST end in “/pub”). Any document found to contain personal information will not be moderated!

Hi Ripplefrost!!
Hey. You made an account! Have you read Sunpaw’s Journey yet? 🙂
Hey, Skypaw/mist, can I have Shredwhisker? I have a great idea for my story.
Sure!
I don’t come here often but hello everyone
tis time for some character-related advice
Part 1: What you can do to make your characters more engaging:
1: develop platonic relationships between your characters! unless all your characters are lonely all the time it’s good to give them friends, acquaintances, and people they just don’t like or are uncomfortable around for whatever reason. it helps to grow your character as you can experiment with how they react to people with different personalities. the setting of a Clan opens up a lot of opportunities to expose your characters to a variety of cats.
2: give your characters hobbies! it doesn’t have to be something too overt but give your characters something they like to do. It could be sorting herbs extra fast if they’re a medicine cat, meticulously cleaning their pelt all the time if they’re a neat freak, playing with bugs or watching birds.
3: always assess your characters’ personalities! it makes it so much easier to write them if you know ahead of time how they’ll react to a given situation. This also includes determining what would be out of character for a given cat. If you have a shy, nervous character who’s shown to be a pushover, it’s unlikely that they’ll snap at someone berating them. though it can be hard to let your beloved characters suffer because they won’t stand up for themselves, it’s often necessary for plot and character development.
Part 2, regarding the Clans’ societies and how to craft intriguing storylines utilizing them, will be in another comment
Thanks! Also:
“though it can be hard to let your beloved characters suffer because they won’t stand up for themselves, it’s often necessary for plot and character development.” Me writing Snowpaw: Don’t worry, I’ve got that covered xD
That was very useful! I’ll work in some hobbies for my characters!
yes yes the poor beans must go though so much pain and suffering ;w;
I can’t wait for part 2!!!
So, you know my current fanfiction I’m writing, Fading Stars. Well, it’s the first book of an arc I’m writing, but I can’t think of a name for the arc. Any suggestions?
Thanks 🙂
(also, I’ll start writing Lost Souls: Silent Stars after I finish Fading Stars)
Part 2 of writing advice: the clans’ societies and how to make them distinct from each other
1: give each Clan a systemic problem/an otherwise idiosyncratic feature. Since my series focuses a lot on power, corruption, and other systemic issues, I like to give each Clan a different struggle that can be overt or subtle. It’s not always a certain leader that brings strife to a Clan but the Clan’s culture itself. For example, ThunderClan has issues with allowing and rewarding violent behavior which allowed sadistic and violent people to act out on their tendencies toward the vulnerable and cause trauma and issues at several points in ThunderClan’s history. ShadowClan continues to have issues with political unrest which causes a lot of death, uprisings and questionable behavior overall, and RiverClan turns everything into a scandal and they’re pretty sketchy in general. This helps a lot, especially if you’re the kind of writer to provide bits of exposition throughout your work.
2: take advantage of the Clans’ culture! Belligerence towards other clans is very much encouraged, which in my series at least can lead to a lot of cats developing violent tendencies. You also have the possibility of writing in cats who have killed someone in battle [a surprisingly common occurrence] who sustain trauma from that and so many other things, so keep that in mind.
Part 3 will focus on writing compelling and terrifying villains, so stay tuned friends!
I love this, it helped me a lot! If you have a fandom account, you should totally put this on the Warrior Fan Fiction fandom guides!
I’ll take a look at that, thank you!
WELCOME TO AMBERPAW’S ADOPTION CENTRE!
There are two new cats up for adoption: Rainleaf and Yellowkit.
Here you can adopt any of the characters from Amberpaw’s series Spirit Rising, predicted to come out in 2023. By adopting a character you will receive a weekly package from the centre, updating you on how they’re getting on. This will be posted on the weekends on the fanfiction organisation page, and also the tavern.
There’s much more coming soon!
You’ll get to witness your character grow and change, and of course you can use them in your own fanfiction.

Can I use Firepaw in my fanfic, Silent Storms? Tysm, I’m so excited to see him grow!
Of course!
I love your package idea, that’s so creative! Can I adopt Yellowkit?
Also, can I use her in Shadowfire?
Sure! Her warrior name would be Yellowflame
Can I adopt Rainleaf please?
Of course!
Part 3 of writing advice: how to come up with compelling villain characters
1: consider: what kind of villain does your story require? this usually involves analyzing your protagonist and saying ‘what kind of villain would provide them with a believable and compelling struggle?’ this can also work in reverse but it’s usually best to do it with a protagonist first. If you have a bold, noble protagonist, an interesting foil to them would be a manipulative, underhanded character. Similarly, if you have a shy, timid protagonist, a theatrical and animated villain helps to highlight both their personalities.
2: make your villain tie in with the theme[s] of your story. For example, the HiveMind’s themes are power and control and how they corrupt people who aren’t equipped to handle it, and of course the connotation of a political hivemind and how those who dissent are silenced or more graciously ‘removed’ from their positions of influence.
3: make your villain’s personalities and motives easy to explain to others. It’s always good if you’re able to describe your characters generally in only a few words. Even if it’s just a brief, silly description it’ll help lay the foundation for what you want your villain to achieve in both the events of the story and the minds of your readers.
4: your villains become scarier when they embody your protagonist’s deepest fears. This is how I usually go about writing villains. This again requires assessing your protagonist to see what their greatest fear is. If they fear those they love being hurt, a villain who preys on their loved ones to hurt the protagonist would be most effective. If your protagonist is insecure about not being appreciated by anyone, an antagonist who will manipulate them into believing their insecurities will again prove effective.
Anyway that’s it yall lol, if you have any more questions please ask :]
Thank you for the advice! I needed it:)
Hey, Ripplepaw please can I claim Flickershine and Narrowleaf?

There’s a pet for everyone here, and all of these dogs are from my fan fictions Hurricane and Shadowfire! I’d suggest presenting it since there is shop music I put on the slides!
If you would like to play with your pet, type in the breed of dog/cat and it should say see in 3D! This is only available for Ipads and Iphones though.
