Hey everyone! I’m back from Peru and I have a lot of stuff I’d like to share!
Firstly, I’ve got a new book! It’s called Feenwhisker’s Life and it’s a slice-of-life story about a simple cat, with no prophecies or anything like that. I’m about halfway through it, but because I’ve written it in a notebook in Peru, copying it down has been slow going, but I have the first few chapters to share tomorrow morning! Anyway, here’s the blurb!
As a kit, Fernwhisker loved stories. Growing up with a distant father he found comfort in the Elder’s den where he could relax and learn about his Clan and the legendary battles they’d seen.
But as an apprentice, Fernpaw learns that a battle is really bloody, foolish, and never has a winner. Struggling to conform with his ruthless Clan’s expectations, he discovers that a story is more than words from a cat’s mouth; they involve tragedy, and heartbreak, but also love.
This is his story. This is his life.
Also, I’m finally adding a prologue to Spirit Rising, and will be redoing Stars aren’t Shining because I backed my self into a corner.
And finally, not to give anything away, but we haven’t seen the last of Smokestar and Icicle…

He’s still uncomfortable around others, but he’s working on it.

Yet the only cat who didn’t bully her was her friend Fox’tail. Fox’tail then died of greencough because the clan couldn’t find catmint in time which led to Quiet’shadow wanting to get revenge. Quiet’shadow would often put deathberries in her victims prey and hide the scent. Quiet’shadow then was recruited by the Dark forest.

He will become a villain but you can decide how, since I don’t know what would fit your plot.

I befriended Sweetfeather (sleek Siamese tom) and Shadowfrost (burly black she-cat) and took up a medicine cat role. Ever since, I've been making friends and enjoying my new life.

Backstory: Her parents got her on accident, and even though they took care of her and were not mean to her, they were aloof and never had a bond with Thistlekit like parents and kits should have. It made her really unhappy, but her parents did not notice. During her apprenticeship, she got bullied really hard, and only one person liked her: her crush, Nettlepaw. When Nettlepaw confessed to Thistlepaw, Thistlepaw was so happy to finally have somebody who loved her, that she got blinded by Nettlepaw’s good traits, and didn’t see her bad traits. When they became warriors, Thistlethorn and Nettlestrike, they became mates soon, and Nettlestrike told Thistlethorn that she was working with the Dark Forest to help her kill their Clan’s leader, who had been her mentor and had emotionally abused her. Thistlethorn would normally have never approved of this, but she loved Nettlestrike too much and depended on her too much to take notice of how bad it was. So she came to the Dark Forest, alongside her mate, and even though she felt uncomfortable there, she was oblivious to it because Nettlestrike told her it was good. One day, Nettlestrike and Thistlethorn, with the friends they made in the Dark Forest, attacked and killed the leader, but the deputy killed Nettlestrike too, and that was the point where Thistlethorn lost all sanity she had left. She got mad with grief and swore revenge, but was chased out of the Clan and joined another, who didn’t know how evil she was. She started plotting to kill all members of her former Clan, to find revenge on Nettlestrike, but sometimes she thought she should stop, just start again in this new Clan, take a mate again and have a normal life, then she realized how bad Nettlestrike’s actions had been, but other times, she swore to never take another mate, and not wait until the whole Clan was dead. She ended up taking another mate in one of her normal fases, and then killing her and blaming her former Clan. She hates herself for everything she has done in her normal fases, and then just sits in a corner sadly the whole time.
This is perfect for a villain in my story! Thanks Fallowpaw! Btw, I love Wings of Fire too.

Backstory? morningcrow was always different. when other young warriors joked and argued, morningcrow was the quiet one that nobody noticed. nobody saw her hidden potential, her quick reactions, her swift and deliberate movements, except cloudhaze, her brother, the popular one. cloudhaze was funny, charismatic and charming, unlike morningcrow, who hid in corners and never participated in conversations. morningcrow was always depressed, and cloudhaze hated to see his sister so lonely, so he began training her to be like him, but with her own flair. morningcrow picked up instantly. she began talking more, chiming in with her own, albeit slightly monotone comments. however, just as things were looking up, cloudhaze died due to the clan medicine cat accidentally poisoning him with water hemlock, which they mistook for parsley. morningcrow was furious. she dreamed of cloudhaze, who had been so kind to her when nobody else was, and decided the medicine cat deserved to die. she snuck into the medicine den one night, preparing to slash the medicine cat’s throat, when the medicine cat suddenly twisted and called for their clanmates. morningcrow was exiled, and now works as a hitman of sorts, who is rumored to have never been caught.

Backstory: Skipmoon was born a kittypet. Her name was Rocky. One night, she received a dream from StarClan saying she had special powers and that the forest was calling her. She went into the forest, and was apprenticed immediately as the med cat app as Skippaw. Her Clan was in a time of great turmoil, and Skipmoon was destined to save her Clanmates. StarClan gifted her the power to visit cats in dreams and contact StarClan and living cats in her mind. She was able to control her dreams, and other living cats’ dreams too. Her mind was basically an open portal to StarClan. Eventually, she died of blackcough during leaf-bare because she refused to treat herself. She’s selfless and always puts others before herself.

CliffClan lives up in the mountains, and are very resistant to cold and usually calm.
FireClan lives in a field below the mountains, and they are determined and fair.

Backstory: When her mother died while giving birth to Streamkit and her sister, the two kits’ father moved to the nursery and another queen gave them milk. Streamkit’s father and the queen who helped nurse his kits became really close, and became mates around the time Streampaw started her apprenticeship. Streampaw was mad at first, because it felt like he betrayed her mother, but after a talk with her sister she realized their father would never stop loving their mother, and accepted the relationship. Her foster mother tried to spend some time with Streampaw and her sister too, and she had a happy apprenticeship, as one of the best apprentices the Clan had seen in moons. Great fighter, great hunter, liked hearing the elders’ stories… When she became a warrior, her sister soon mated with a young tom, and died while kitting, just like her mother. Streamfire was devastated, but soon got comfort from a (trans) she-cat, who eventually became her mate. (Streamfire is pan, btw) After a while they got kits too, and (surprise, surprise) Streamfire died while kitting. Just like her mother and sister. When she ascended to StarClan, her mom and sis waited for her already. Her mother told her she was perfectly fine with Streamfire’s father getting another mate. The reuntited family had a good time, until one of Stream’ sister’s daughters again died while kitting. A bit later, a Dark Forest cat told them he had put a curse on their family, which meant all of them would die if they ever got kittens, because one of their ancestors had dumped him to get kits with another tom. They made a plan to kill the cat, and after that happened, the course was broken.

Backstory:As a young kit Night’kit was swept away from her home and landed in Fireclan. Kits and apprentices would make fun of Night’kit saying she was a kitty pet. The leader of Fireclan had think she had been worthless aswell. The only cat who cared for Night’kit was her foster mother, Firepool. When Nightpaw became an appretince she had heard of her mother died when she went on a patrol because of a badger attack and the other cats on the patrol just watched. Some of the cats made fun of her especially one named Oakpaw. Later that night Nightpaw stalked Oakpaw and softly whistled while doing it. After she killed Oakpaw she left him in the river. She was then visited by the Dark forest that night and was offered to be trained by them which she gladly accepted. Slowly after time she would kill the cats who made fun of her, or found out her secret. Then after a long time managed to become deputy with the name Night’whistle.

Soon after, they both died in a battle. Rainkit was sad, but soon he became Rainpaw. His mentor was Skysong, and soon he became Rainsea. Then he had an apprentice, Moonpaw, and then he became deputy. Unfortunately, he died the day after he became deputy. He fell into a lake and drowned.

Backstory: when she was younger, Hollyflare always felt ignored by her clanmates, especially she felt that her leader wasn’t giving her enough praise. she also thought that her leader was a bad leader, so she began secretly killing her clanmates one by one and blaming it on her leader. after she murdered the deputy before her, the leader became so scared of being given a bad reputation because they knew they were going to be blamed for this, so they made Hollyflare deputy. once the leader reached their last life, Hollyflare became impatient and tried to kill them, but was caught by some of her clanmates. Hollyflare tried to fight them, but was outnumbered, so she was left with a lot of severe wounds on her body. after that, she was exiled, and soon died from her wounds and went to the Dark Forest.

Backstory: She was from CliffClan, however, one day she was accused of murdering the CliffClan deputy, Shadowstrike, by Spikeclaw, who was the real murderer. He took some of her fur and put it near the body, so it looked like her. She was then banished from her clan. After that she lived in to cliffs for a while, and during this time built a bitter resentment and hatred towards CliffClan. Than one day, she was found by a FireClan cat. She told them her story, and they decided to let her stay. Eventually after completing three trials, she was allowed to stay in FireClan. Eventually she became the deputy. Then in a battle with Cliff Clan, she battled with Spikeclaw, that cat she hated more than anything in the world. She fought so hard, she killed him, and went against the warrior code. She was shunned for this, and her role as deputy was in question. She stayed, but one day, as revenge a CliffClan warrior attacked her while she was hunting. Caught completely off guard, she fought as hard as she could, but died of blood loss before she made it too camp. A FireClan warrior eventually found her body, and she was buried by her clanmates. She left her clan being thought of as a noble deputy, but she did have her faults.

Hey Ivs! Unfortunatly I”ve made the grave mistake of not planning the chapter properly. So I lost my motive to writing Trials and Truths.
Also school has started for me and I’ve been busy. And I’ve also been working on two new projects. One collab, and one other fanfic that i’m determind to finish. Maybe in the near future I’ll finish Trials and Truths but for now I have no creative juices. <3
