Ok y’all! My brain can’t just work on one story at a time, so I’m…kind of uh- creating another one. The one I’m CURRENTLY working is called Tigerpaw’s Heart, but my new one shall be called Fallen Shadows. (Fallen Shadows will probably be started in about a week or earlier)
(I’m extremely bad at righting blurbs, so yeah) BLURB: Trouble is coming to WhisperClan, sneaking up on them like a cat to a mouse. Soon, the trouble shall arrive, and Fadedpaw’s Clan may seize to exist. WhisperClan has always been seen as weak and vulnerable, but if her Clanmates can work together, no matter their differences, they’ll outlive the danger. Life used to be normal for Scarlet, until the kidnappings began. One from each district of Astrid – the last place on Earth habitable by humans- was kidnapped from their families when they turned seven. ‘Trained’ and ‘took care of’ at a secret biodome in the ruins of Earth, they banded together and escaped when they turned 18. 6 were captured and 6 were free, nobody knew why they took the children but the families were murdered. Only a few got out alive but were silenced soon enough. Scarlet was taken from district 18, she never hated the kidnappers until she found out about the murders. Together with her friends, they unravel the mysteries and finally find out who the traitor is…

She also has lots of mental health issues from watching her parents die but hides the pain with her rough exterior. Only her close friends know what she’s going through.

Personality: not outgoing and can be rude if she doesn’t know you well (including cats in her own Clan). Once she knows you, she’s the friendliest cat and loves to hang out. She almost has the personality of a pick me girl, most of her friends are toms and she thinks pretty highly of herself. Overall, she’s nice-ish if the other cat reaches out first.
Backstory (optional, can be as long or short as u want): for her mate, you can change the name if you’d like, but her mate is Ferndaze, a petite tan tabby she-cat with the politest manners and she’s very timid. Surprisingly, Ferndaze is a stellar fighter and would rather battle train than fight any day, contrary to her personality.

So, here’s a paragraph but I promise y’all it’s worth it. As some of you may know, I’ve been working on something I’ve been calling the Free Allegiances project, where I create a collection of cats for people to write with! Background filler, side characters, whatever you like! Hello, everyone. An idea that I’m thinking of:
– Twilight of the Clans– Five Clans at the Lake. That’s how it has been for as long as anyone can remember. There has been peace for a long time, but one thing remains: the line of Firestar. ThunderClan’s leader, Emberstar, is known for being a descendant of the famous cat. She wears the title with pride, and her Clan prizes the bloodline of Firestar the most. Meanwhile, in RiverClan, Quietstep and her brother Duckfoot have just become new warriors. Both receive the vision of a tiger and a lion rising against each other to fight, blood spilling in their wake. It gets even stranger when a tiny kit is abandoned in RiverClan territory, black-furred with one white leg, who seems to be troubled within her sleep. Can these omens mean the twilight of the Clans?

None of you probably remember, but I wrote The Lonely Shoreline in summer of this year. Like most of my stories (Rising Stars, Lightning Strikes, Decaying Dawn, The Great Flame…) I lost my writing spark after Chapter 2. I’ve felt defeated and haven’t really written or appeared on the blog (aside from a secret page or two) since then.
It’s been half a year, and I have had no ideas. I want to write something that isn’t Warrior Cats fanfiction, but somehow my wellspring of ideas has just… run dry. I’ll run around like a madman because I randomly get a “””crazily good””” idea but then the next day I just… can’t go with it anymore.
Am I losing my ability to be creative? What should I write about, or do you guys have any tips?
while I don’t have any tips on what to write about, I can share some of the things that got me into writing again!
-Planning out my entire story. I do this on a chapter-by-chapter basis, but you can also plan you story more loosely. I only plan out the basics of the chapter, so I still ahve plenty of room for my creativity to do what it wants and still have a good structure to work from.
-Setting a clear goal for myself. For me this goal came with Novella November, and I challenged myself to write 10 000 words in a month, which I managed to do! 10 000 words might sound like a lot, because it is, and you don’t have to start with such a big goal.
-Writing consistently! Another challenge in Novella November was writing every day, and I managed to do that with a few exeptions(computer issues, no time, etc). Writing everyday isn’t for everyone, of course, but it honestly worked out so well for me.
That’s what i currently have, let me know if these tips helped :]
