RIP Alex Trebek“Yup,” Applepaw meowed. “This den has a kitty pet opening we can go in. Come on!”

Brightpaw followed Applepaw inside, shaking with a mixture of excitement and fear.

Applepaw walked across the den to a rectanglular box. “This is the two leg fresh kill pile.”
Brightpaw-
“How are we supposed to get the fresh kill?” Brightpaw asked.
Sirius X Lupin forever~Lillypaw~
Lillypaw slipped out of camp, tracking the scent of the other apprentices. They had left camp earlier, when Turtlesway, Moonclaw and Tigertalon were out hunting. Lillypaw had still been waking up. As she reached the border between their clan and the twoleg place, she paused. Had they gone here? Or had she tracked them wrong? She shook off her misgivings and padded on. They were going to be in trouble when the warriors arrived back to camp and found them missing, she had to know where they were before that happened. She tracked their scent to a small twoleg den with an opening that smelled strongly of Clan cats.
“Brightpaw! Applepaw!” She called, nervous to step inside. When she got no response, she pushed through the flap and inside the den. The two apprentices were standing in front of a large silver box that gave off a scent of metal and food.
“What are you two mouse-brains doing here?” She whisper-shouted at the two of them.
“We’re getting cheese.” Apple paw meowed. Using his paw, he opened the box, a gush of cold air coming out.
“Cheese? What do you mean cheese? You know you can get in a lot of trouble for just being here! What if a two-leg comes in?” Lillypaw meowed, worried. She was all for adventure and exploring most of the time, but a Twoleg den was too much, even for her.
“It’s a two leg food.” Apple paw meowed. “And we’ll be fine.” He looked inside the shiny box. A bright yellow square caught his eye.
Brightpaw-
“Hi, Lilypaw!” Brightpaw meowed.

“Hi, Brightpaw,” Lilypaw responded as she crept closer to the, now open, silver box.
Brightpaw-
“It smells good inside!” Brightpaw said.
I love HawkfrostApplepaw jumped up and grabbed the bright yellow cheese. “Help yourself to anything inside.” He meowed, proudly.
Brightpaw-
Brightpaw tasted the cheese. “Tasty!” she mewed.
I love Hawkfrost“Try some of this,” Applepaw meowed, jumping up on one of the shelves. He tipped over a box and white liquid spilled out. “This is milk.”
~Lillypaw~
Lillypaw padded forward and sniffed the white liquid before backing off. “This goes against the warrior code Applepaw. We should leave.”
Brightpaw-
Brightpaw lapped up some of the milk, but then she frowned. “I-I don’t feel so good.” she moaned.
Blossomfall defender“Uh-oh,” applepaw meowed. “You probably ate too much. Let’s head back.”
Brightpaw-
Brightpaw mewed, “Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.” She stepped away from the milk.
Blossomfall defenderLillypaw~
That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you, she thought. Lillypaw padded up to Brightpaw, “Let’s get you back to camp, lean on me if you have to.”
Brightpaw-
“Ok.” Brightpaw said. She leaned on Lilypaw, trying to balance herself.
Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me!Lillypaw~
Lillypaw began to pad out of the den, glancing back to see that Applepaw was following before continuing out the door and beginning the trek back to camp.
Brightpaw-
As the apprentices walked, Brightpaw meowed, “I think we can all agree on this: no more Twoleg dens.”
She was trying to joke, to take her mind off her upset tummy.
Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me!Lillypaw~
“That’s what I’ve been saying from the beginning,” She murmured as they stepped into camp.
“Petalstar? Spottedlog? Somecat! While we were on our walk, Brightpaw ate something she shouldn’t have. She needs herbs or something!”
Spottedlog-
Spottedlog walked over. “It’s alright, dears.” Spottedlog mewed, a rare tone of kindness in xyr voice.
“I’m no medicine cat, but I know my herbs. Get Brightpaw to the medicine cat den. She will need yarrow.”

Lillypaw gave a nod of thanks to xem and began helping Brightpaw to the den. She sniffed around the herbs and found the one she thought was called yarrow and placed it in front of Brightpaw, gesturing for her to eat it with a flick of her tail. “Is this the right one?” She asked, glancing at xem.
Spottedlog-
“Yes.” meowed Spottedlog.
Brightpaw-
“Isn’t this the herb that makes cats vomit?” mewed Brightpaw.
Spottedlog-
“You’ll feel much better afterwards, trust me.” said Spottedlog.
(I’m going to put Brightpaw’s vomiting in a spoiler box, in case it makes anyone feel uncomfortable):
[spoiler title=spoiler]Brightpaw- “Very well.” mewed Brightpaw. She ate the yarrow, not liking the bitter taste.
She coughed, then vomited. Heaving a little, she vomited a little more, then waited a moment. “I think I’m alright now.” she said.[/spoiler]

“Good.” meowed Spottedlog.

Lillypaw glanced away as Brightpaw vomited before stroking her tail soothingly along the she-cat’s spine. “Thank you Spottedleaf.” She mewed, looking at xem. “Brightpaw, I’ll get you settled in the apprentice den. My mentor will probably want to get some training in before the sun sets.” Quieter, she mewed, “Ya’ll are such mousebrains. What were you thinking?!”
Spottedlog-
“Stay out of trouble, now.” Spottedlog meowed.
Brightpaw-
“It was Applepaw’s idea!” mewed Brightpaw to Lillypaw.
You sit and weave your lies, like a fox trots through the night.Lillypaw-
She just sighed. “I need to train and you need to rest,” she murmured as she helped Brightpaw to the apprentice den. “Just rest,” she ordered as she left Brightpaw there, heading into the clearing to find her mentor.
(Anyone want to be Lillypaw’s mentor?)
“Im sorryyy,” applepaw muttered.
Brightpaw-
“It’s ok. At least now we know not to do it again.” Brightpaw said.

Tigertalon started walking towards camp as well.
Sirius X Lupin foreverTurtlesway outly was staying calm on the inside something more sinister lurks. It’s all going according to plan he thought. (Ok so I wanted him to be a nice boy but yeah he’s secretly evil he needed some drama!!!)
Moonclaw-
she flinched as he thought that but said nothing and kept walking.
(i feel like i need an evil character training in shadow woods. might be shivering feather..)

“So how’d you catch that hawk?” Tigertalon asked Moonclaw.

”mom said dad got killed by a hawk. So she taught us how to kill one.” She meowed calml

“Gosh, I’m so sorry about your parents.” Tigertalon mewed, sympathy in ter blue eyes.

“Fallenpaw, where’re those friends of yours? Applepaw and Brightpaw?” Spottedlog called from the prey pile.
I love Hawkfrost“They’re on a walk.” Fallenpaw repiled.

Apprentices these days! Did they even finish their duties before leaving? Did they let an older cat know where they were going? In my day, apprentices were much more behaved! Spottedlog thought.
Out loud they meowed, “Ok.”

“where are the warriors?” she mewed looking around.

Petalstar watched Rosekit sniff around. “Hello, little one.” xe mewed.

“Oh! uh hi!” she mewed facing xem.

“Sorry if I startled you.” Petalstar apologized.

And He RunsWolfpaw jumped up now awake and startled. What kind of starclan cat is that? He thought. Then he walked out of the app den tired and sore.
“Hey, you okay?” Fallenpaw meowed.
He nodded slowly but something else was on his mind. He shook his head and looked at fallenpaw. “I’m fine… uh want to go hunting” he muttered looking down but then lifted his head up. No wolfpaw you need to keep your head high. A voice murdered in his ear that wasn’t his. He nodded and waited for a response
Lillypaw-
Lillypaw padded over to the two of them. Do you guys want to do some battle training?”
“Oh uh sure” he meowed. Good a chance to show your skills the voice muttered In his ear. Then he glanced at fallenpaw
Lillypaw-
She smiled slightly.
Wolfpaw walked out of camp to the training area. “What first” he meowed
Lillypaw-
“Offense?” She suggested, moving to one side of the ring and preparing to lunge.
Wolfpaw smiled ready for her attack he swerved to the right turning to her tail and sliding under her belly confusing her just enough to give a nip to the ear. He smiled in delight. I feel so much better, have I always been so nervous about fallenpaw that I let my life slip away from me?
Lilypaw-
She spun to face him, twitching her ear, and dived under him, giving his tail a yank.

Dustymoor trotted around camp and picked out a mouse and scarfed it down “ugh theres nothing to do patrol was the best thing i did today!” dustymoor complained

“If you want, we could go for a walk.” Tigertalon mewed as tey walked toward Dustymoor.

And He RunsDustymoor~ she padded over to petalstar with a juicy rabbit in her jaws “here you go I though you looked a bit hungry we can share” she muffled she placed the rabbit down and split the portions equally and scarfed down hers she felt a bit sick she put her paw to her head and sat down next to petalstar ” sorry my head hurts a lot today I’m a bit dizzy” she smiled an uneasy smile and curled up into a ball ( this is unlike dustymoor to admit when she’s hurting) she saw the clearing fade to black she woke to a silver wait no chinchilla colored kit and a smokey colored kit running in a moor in between rows of heather she heard a crack and snapped awake where they my kits, im not ready for kits though i dont even have a mate..
Petalstar-
“Thank you, Dustymoor!” purred Petalstar.

Spottedlog walked out of the medicine cat den after helping Brightpaw, and xe wondered what to do.

WolfStar 4 LifeOdd kit crept into the medicine den. He looked to the left with his left eye and to the right with his right. Cost is clear. He wobbled to the herbs and started to sort them like he knew what he was doing and as if he was a medicine cat his whole life.
(I thought Oddkit uses it/its pronouns?)

Brightpaw saw Oddkit heading towards the medicine cat den. Watching it go inside, she wondered what it was doing.
