  • LEGIONS ROLEPLAY: INFO PAGE

(Written by Rainshine, added onto by Frostfire)

    STORY:
It was the era where Ivystar led RiverClan, Fallowstar led WindClan, Lionstar led ThunderClan, Yellowstar led ShadowClan, and Rowanstar led SkyClan.
Six cats had left the Clans – Doveflight of RiverClan, Falconwing of WindClan, Fawnleap and Sagepaw of SkyClan, Lichenpelt of ThunderClan, and Tansyfur of ShadowClan. They’d been sent by StarClan to seek out their desires, and fulfill their destinies.
Together, the six went to the Moonstone. The moon was just full, and the six cats touched noses with the stone.
Everyone except Sagepaw appeared in SkyClan territory. They floated, and were whisked through ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan territories. Then were taken through the mountains, and over to the other side. They went past a Twolegplace, and beyond that, they found a lake.
The five suddenly turned around, just before they reached the lake, and headed back to the mountains. They followed the base of the mountain range east, towards the sun.
After a while, the cats flew into the mountains, where they faced a huge, roaring waterfall, reaching from the sky, and plunging into the stone. The cats plunged into the waterfall, and woke up at the moonstone.
Sagepaw’d had a different dream, with lithe cats and a much smaller waterfall in the mountains. He said that it forewarned doom in the mountains, and that they shouldn’t go there. The others didn’t listen, some saying that Sagepaw was young and naive, and that he didn’t have the first dream, so he shouldn’t even be there.
The group met the Tribe of Rushing Water in the mountains, but they were met with hostile faces. The tribe’s numbers were bountiful, and the Clan cats didn’t dare to antagonize them. The Clan cats met an eagle, and almost fall down a ravine, but made it through the mountains.
They went through the outskirts of Twolegplace, and meet Alisa and her kits, Lucas, Oma, and Purdy. Their father, Clive, took them safely through the Twolegplace.
After the group bid farewell to Clive, they ran into a fox. They easily outnumbered it, but then ran into a badger while their injuries were still healing.
Before the badger struck, though, a group of almost twenty cats come charging through. They explained that they lived by a lake, and took the Clan cats to their home, to be treated. The group lived in a camp situated in the moor, with at least double the amount that the Clan cats had first met.
And, just as they were getting settled, something happened.
Now, not only are the cats by the lake tasked with battling dangers and struggling to have peaceful lives – they must also fulfill a mysterious calling. According to the spirit who gave them the powers, they are the ones destined to help. They are the only ones worthy, and only their teamwork can complete this task. If they fail, the consequences will not only befall them, but many more.
Some have chosen to be here, others have not. But if they want to survive, they have to get to know the others and master their powers, and fast. Because there’s danger at every turn, and survival is something that must be fought for.
Each roleplayer can control as many cats as they like, and the forms for all the former cats in the roleplay are on the character creation page (there’s more information there). I’m mainly following the story that Rainshine laid out, but I’m also adding a little with the magic and the quest.

    POWERS:
There are six power sets in the roleplay, each with different abilities. They’re much like the powers in the Tests, or the Lumen Trials. Below is a brief explanation of each power and its abilities.
Your character will be randomly assigned a power, but there’s a higher chance of them getting their most-preferred power and a lower chance of them getting their least-preferred.

    Fire Powers:
Level 1: You can make the air around you one degree hotter, and you can cope better with hotter temperatures. If you concentrate very hard, you can make small fires appear randomly around you, but they’re hard to direct.
Level 2: You can make the air five degrees hotter, and you can cope with hot temperatures even better than before. Your flames are now easier to create and move, and if they touch another cat, the cat will feel momentary heat, but will not be burned.
Level 3: You can now make the air ten degrees hotter than it originally was, and you can cope in air that would normally cause you to feel uncomfortably hot. It only takes a little bit of concentration to summon a flame, and the flame leaves a small burn on a cat.
Level 4: You can make the air fifteen degrees hotter, and you can withstand very hot temperatures. You barely have to concentrate to make a flame now, and your flames leave medium-sized burns on a cat’s flesh.
Level 5: You can make the air twenty degrees hotter, and the only heat that bothers you is from very hot fires. You can summon flames with just a thought, and they can severely burn a cat.

    Air Powers:
Level 1: You can make the air one degree hotter or colder, but it’s barely noticeable. You can lift yourself off the ground a little, and can make a small breeze that goes in a random direction.
Level 2: You can make the air three degrees hotter or colder. You can lift yourself off the ground a little higher now, and your breeze is more controlled.
Level 3: You can make the air five degrees hotter or colder. You can lift yourself off the ground high enough that you reach the tops of the trees, and your breeze is powerful and can move small objects.
Level 4: You can make the air seven degrees hotter or colder. You can lift yourself even higher now, and your breeze can move medium-sized objects.
Level 5: You can make the air ten degrees hotter or colder. You can lift yourself as high as low clouds, and your breeze is very powerful and can move large objects.

    Water Powers:
Level 1: You can draw small bubbles of water from nearby water sources. With intense concentration, you can make a small amount of water in a water source appear or disappear.
Level 2: You can draw slightly larger bubbles of water from nearby water sources. It’s easier to make water appear and disappear now, and you can make more appear or disappear.
Level 3: You can make water bubbles the size of large rocks, and you can draw them from a water source in a radius of a half-mile. Water appears and disappears easily now, and you can add or take away a fourth of the water value.
Level 4: Your water bubbles are now larger, and can be drawn from a mile away, as well as being drawn from clouds. You can also make water appear and disappear in clouds, and you can add or take away half of the water value.
Level 5: Your water bubbles are the size of hills, and can be drawn from very far away, and can also be made into different shapes. You can make all the water in an area disappear, or flood the area – either of these things will drastically affect the climate.

    Earth Powers:
Level 1: You can make the ground shake slightly, but it only lasts for a few seconds. You can make small plants appear or disappear.
Level 2: You can make the ground shake more violently, and it lasts longer. You can
make bigger plants appear and grow them.
Level 3: The ground shakes enough to knock a cat off their paws, and lasts for up to half a minute. You can make bigger plants appear and grow, or make them disappear.
Level 4: You can make the ground shake fairly hard now, and lasts for a minute and a half. You can make a variety of plants, as well as small trees, appear, grow, and disappear.
Level 4: The ground shakes hard enough that cracks can open up in it, and it can last for up to two minutes. You can make any plant appear, grow, or disappear at will.

    Ice Powers:
Level 1: You can freeze the ground slightly around you, make the temperature a degree lower, and withstand colder temperatures. You can make small ice spikes shoot from the ground that won’t harm a cat.
Level 2: You can freeze the ground with less difficulty now, the air around you can turn up to five degrees colder, and you can withstand colder temperatures. Your ice spikes are bigger, and can draw blood.
Level 3: You can freeze the ground and can make small shapes with your ice, you can make the air ten degrees colder, and withstand cold that would normally make you uncomfortable. Your ice spikes are even bigger, and can cause mild wounds.
Level 4: You can freeze the ground in a larger radius and make more shapes, you can make the air fifteen degrees colder, and you can withstand very cold temperatures. Your ice spikes are now the size of a large bush, and leave medium-sized wounds.
Level 5: You can freeze the ground a mile around and make any shape you want, you can make the air twenty degrees colder, and only severe cold bothers you. Your ice spikes can be up to the size of a tree, and can leave serious wounds.

    Electricity Powers:
Level 1: You can make sparks appear around your paws, and can slightly alter the weather with concentration. You’re faster, and seem to have better intuition.
Level 2: You can direct your sparks at things, and you can make small storms. You can run faster, and can see brief, random glimpses of the near future.
Level 3: Your sparks can give other cats mild injuries, and you can summon larger storms. You can run twice as fast as you originally could, and can see the near future with a lot of concentration.
Level 4: Your sparks can cause medium-sized injuries, and you can create rainstorms, thunderstorms, and tropical storms. You can run very fast, and can see up to a day in the future.
Level 5: Your sparks can cause serious wounds, and you can create dangerous weather like hurricanes and tornados. You can run fifty miles an hour, and can slightly change the future that you’ve seen if you concentrate hard.

    Light Powers:
Level 1: You can make an area slightly brighter, and can go invisible for a few seconds. You can heal small wounds on yourself and others.
Level 2: You can make an area brighter than you could, and you can stay invisible longer. You can heal bigger wounds.
Level 3: You can make an area double the amount of brightness it was, and can stay invisible for five minutes. You can heal medium-sized wounds on yourself and others.
Level 4: You can make an area even brighter, and can stay invisible for ten minutes. You can heal large wounds on yourself and others.
Level 5: You can make an area bright enough to momentarily blind a cat, and can stay invisible for as long as you want. You can heal all wounds, unless fatal, on yourself and others.

    Dark Powers:
Level 1: You can make an area slightly darker than it was before. You can make others feel a slight pain, and can spit a poisonous liquid.
Level 2: You can make an area even darker now. You can make others feel more pain, and your poisonous liquid can make a cat sick.
Level 3: You can make an area twice as dark as it was before. You can make others feel a medium amount of pain, and your poisonous liquid will make a cat dizzy, nauseas, and lightheaded.
Level 4: You can make an area even darker. You can make others feel a severe pain, and your poisonous liquid causes a cat to pass out.
Level 5: You can make an area pitch-black. You can make others feel an almost fatal pain, and your poisonous liquid can make a cat pass out, feel pain, and see their own death.

    Writing Requirement: 300 words
    Roleplay Requirement: 15 posts

    Level 4 – 5:

Drawing Requirement: lineart, colored, detailed shading
    Writing Requirement: 400 words
    Roleplay Requirement: 20 posts

    RULES:
    1. Be respectful to everyone in the roleplay.
    2. Only control your character(s), unless directed otherwise.
    3. Have fun!
    4. Don’t feel pressured to stay in the roleplay if you don’t want to. Mental health comes first. :))

I know this roleplay may seem complicated, and you may of never roleplayed before, but I promise it’s much easier than it’d seem! And if you find it’s not for you, you can always kill off your character, or put them up for adoption. 😀 Happy travels!
