  • Let’s discuss how much I want to rewrite my chapter (can’t say I’m a fan of how it turned out :P)

  • YAY!
Also, I asked how I could possibly get my character in TS, and was told I should ask Jayfrost. So, I would just like to ask you (Jayfrost) if I could possibly have my character (Pantherheart) in TS. Thanks!

  • This was a wonderful idea!

(also psst can I have a cameo in the next chapter 😛 )

    (whee look I’m so needy)

  • Some questions to get this conversation rolling! 😀

    • Do any of you want your character to die in Trailing Stars?
    • Which upcoming chapter sounds the most interesting to you plot-wise?
    • If you went back in time and were allowed to write any chapter of the fanfiction, which would you have chosen?

    • • Noooooo 😛

      • 27!

      • Either 6, 16 or 22 😛

What about you? What are your answers? 😀

Also, this is a great idea. Love these questions.

    • Yes, but I want everyone to be grieving and a massive funeral if so 😛
      23 or 28 🙂
      Chapter 1 or 10 🙂

    • No, not even if there’s some geese and food at my funeral 😛 😛
      The last chapter
      One of chapters 2-15

    • -No I enjoy my tiny cameos too much, and I’d be sad to be dead
-Hmm, 27 since it’ll be the ‘holy cow this was all a dream thing’ and meeting StarClan (Wonder which StarClan cats we’d meet) but also 21 and 24
-I’d want to write I think 11, I’d love to have been the one to start training every cat

But the chapters I’ve enjoyed the most so far were 16, 17 and 18. 16 because great StarClan massive conflict, 17 because I HAVE A CAMEO (sorry couldnt resist and it was with FLO no less :D) and 18 was a good read and I liked Jayfrosts addition of ‘I’m just a college student!’ 0.0

I am so excited to see Jayfrosts next post *crosses fingers* please let me have a cameo in it, please let me have a cameo in it.

But even if I don’t it’s going to knock everyone’s socks off

  • I wonder if any characters will actually die in Trailing Stars….
Also, cool idea! Thanks for the page mods 🙂

    • It’d be difficult to pull off I think, TS itself is hard to write because you can’t have a constant character, heck we have Copperclaw and Dawnmist acting as Deputy and Med cat and they were in those positions like 4 years ago at least.
Granted that’d be cool, but then what happens when we all wake up… although since it is a dream I guess people could ‘die’
OH! That’d also be a way to explain people who left BlogClan and don’t appear in TS anymore they woke up from the dream!
But the biggest thing to keep in mind is, could you imagine the horror of someone dying. I mean things are rough in TS but someone actually dying would be heartbreaking.
Plus you’d have to get that person’s permission and whoever ‘dies’ would then not have a role in TS any further. Plus if that person like leaves BlogClan, then someone who isn’t even a part of the clan now has a giant role, I mean a character dying has a HUGE impact sometimes, at least on other characters. In TS a death of anyone would be traumatic and felt throughout the clan.
But it is interesting to think about

      • I respectfully disagree.
A death in Trailing Stars wouldn’t have to send shock waves through the whole story. It could be confined to only one chapter — maybe referenced once or twice later on — while still leaving a major impact on the characters. Such an event would also serve two important purposes: keeping the reader engaged, and upping the ante by making the threat of the badgers seem real. Besides, many people who have narrated chapters in the past are long gone, so it’d be okay if whoever died in the story left the Blog. Permission is easy enough to get too, and I assume when a character dies they simply wake up in the real world, like you said. Otherwise . . . it would be pretty traumatic. 😂

(Imagine if we got a list of all the people who want to die in Trailing Stars, and then randomly picked one name out of a hat to be the lucky winner. That could be fun! 😀 )

        • That is a fair point, I guess death always resonates more with me (I cry a lot at death in movies okay!) but, I guess it could serve as a valuable lesson that bad things happen and you have to push on. ‘Life goes on’.
Looking back some deaths did have more impact on me than others so it could definitely become an option, and a lottery to have your character die oh, fun. I think I’d rather stick around though. Even though you could have a totally epic death it’s also warriors where you can die by fence? (was that what killed Sandstorm I can’t remember anymore) or in some other sad way.

          • I cried more at Fiery’s death in Survivors than I ever did reading Warriors XD I think it’s because more cats die in Warriors so I’m more used to it, and because the cats have an afterlife so we have a chance at seeing them again. The dogs have a sort of afterlife too, but we don’t see them again in the same we we see cats in StarClan.
