Amberkit flicked Cherrykit’s flank with her tail. “C’mon,” She begs. “I know a secret way out of the nursery!” Cherrykit, always doing exactly what Amberkit says, unhappily agrees. Walking around to the back wall of the nursery, Amberkit sees the small hole she had made a moon ago. After Amberkit squeezes out, Cherrykit squeezed out after her. “Let’s go.” She whispered, walking around the front of the nursery. Suddenly, a voice spoke from behind them. “What are you doing out here?”

Dewfrost flicked his tail at Amberkit, the signal to follow him. Her head and tail drooping, she followed reluctantly. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw the apprentices.
