WEIRDCLAN ROLEPLAY
Every cat is born with an Element. The main Elements are Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. Each Element comes with a power (a cat with the Fire Element has Firepower. They can, for example, make fire.) However, there are Elements outside of the main ones. These are called Outcasted Elelements, or Outs. Outs are either Elements that were replaced by others, or ones that never fit in.
The Outs are:
-Lava
-Nature
-Ice
-Light
-Dark
The Element you are born with is called your Prefix Element, or Pre. You are given a prefix that relates to the Element. (For example, a Water-Element cat, or a Water, would have a name like Streamkit or Lakekit.)
There is also a Suffix Element, or Suf. You get this element as a warrior. It then relates to your name. (For example, let’s say Streampaw is a Air Suf. She would have a name like Streambreeze or Streamcloud.)
There are four Clans, each for a different Pre. There is FireClan, AirClan, EarthClan, and WaterClan. When a cat is six moons old, their Pre begins to develop. They then go to the Clan of their Pre. When they are made a warrior and develop their Suf, they are grouped among their Clanmates. (For example, Streambreeze would be a Water-Air, or Wa-a. She would be grouped with other Wa-a’s among WaterClan.)
Clan life is normal. There is a leader, deputy, healer (medicine cat), warriors, mentors, aprentices, queens, kits, and elders. The warrior code is also the same. There are Gatherings at the full moon. There are Healer Meets at the half-moon. They go to the Element Stone instead of the Moonpool. They recieve prophicies from the Star Element cats (the Stars), their deceased ancestors.
But then there are cats who don’t fit in. Cats with the Out Pre.
Out is extremely dangerous. Since it has not been tamed over the years with regular use, like the Core Elements (the main ones), cats with Out Pres are killed at birth by a cat with strong enough powers to kill. The same goes for cats with Out Sufs.
But then there are those who escape.
Fleeing from birth, cats with Out Pres run from the Clans, trying to fight back against the Clan cats that rush to kill them.
Frostkit is one of those cats.
Born to Flamecloud, a Fi-wa, and Stormstripe, a Wa-ea, in secret because they were of different Pres, Frostkit and her sister, Sunnykit, were cursed from the start. Frostkit had an Ice Pre, and Sunnykit had a Light Pre. Burningstar, the FireClan leader, tried to kill Frostkit and Sunnykit, but Flamecloud helped them escape. She was later killed for helping Out Pres. Frostkit and Sunnykit were found before the Clan cats got to them by a group called WeirdClan. They were all Out Pres and Out Sufs that had escaped the Clans. They called themselves WeirdClan because that was what they were defined as in their Clan, for being Outs. Weird cats. Cats that didn’t belong. Cats that needed to die.
WeirdClan still has prefixes and suffixes. But their leader, Bloomstar, decided that they would reverse their names in order to keep their identities secret. Since WeirdClan cats have such strong powers, their Suf can come as early as kithood. This was the case for Frostkit and Sunnykit. Bloomstar saw that Frostkit was a Fire Suf and that Sunnykit was a Water Suf. She then made what could of possibly been their suffix their prefix based of of their powers. Frostkit was renamed Firekit and Sunnykit Brookkit. When they got their warrior names, they would be Firefrost and Brooksun, in honor of their prefix. This is the same for all WeirdClan cats and helps keep their true selves secret.
But Bloomstar had to do to more things to help WeirdClan blend in.
First, nicknames.
Nicknames make the group sound like rogues and avoid suspicion from searching Clan cats. Firekit’s nickname is Firo and Brookkit’s is Brook. Bloomstar’s nickname is Bloomix. Anyone who joins gets to choose their cat’s nickname.
Second, fursonas.
WeirdClan cats figured out that they could use their powers to look like the opposite of what they really do to be even more safe. Here’s the list of opposite fur colors, eye colors, fur textures, body builds, fur shades, and eye shades. Fur patterns stay the same.

So, Firekit is a pure white she-kit with icy-blue eyes. Her disguise would be a jet-black she-kit with leaf-green eyes. Brookkit is a silky, soft, and thin-furred she-kit with a white chest, paws, and sky-blue eyes. Her disguise would be a spiky, thick, and mangy-furred silver she-kit with a black chest, paws, and forest-green eyes.
But WeirdClan isn’t always in disguise.
Every time they activate their powers, they turn back into their original cat.
Except with one twist.
Some Stars believe that killing Outs and never giving their Element a chance to be controlled is infeline (inhumane in cat terms :P). The Stars used their powers they didn’t need after death to give every Out one thing when they activate their powers.
WINGS!
WeirdClan cats were given wings to fly away from eninemies and fight at a safe distance. Wings only appear when a cat’s power is activated. They are the color of the cat’s pelt.
Finally, the Opps and Pures.
Every Element has an opposite (Opp for short). Here is the list:
fire – water
air – earth
water – fire
earth – air
lava – ice
light – dark
dark – light
Nature is Oppless, making it powerful.
Let’s say Streambreeze, a Wa-a, is battling with…Blazeflame, a Fi-fi (I’ll explain the importance of Pureness later). Since the two have Opp Pres, they can both severely damage each other in one blow.
Now, onto the NEAT STUFF (the cringe :P). Cats with Opp Pres and Sufs are VERY powerful. Since they have Opps, they can blend their powers (but others can do this too) to make something extremely powerful.
Now, Pures.
Pures are cats with pure genetics (Divergint just popped into my head :P). Let’s go back to Blazeflame, our wonderful example. He has a Fire Pre and a Fire Suf. He can combine both and become stronger. Pures are also considered better than others and look down on Opps.
And now, we’re ready to make a character and begin the roleplay!
Here’s the storyline:
Firo and Brook are apprentices. FireClan is still loking for them, and Stormstripe has vowed to hunt them down. However, he had another litter of kits the same time as Firo and Brook were born. One of these kits, Willowkit, was an Out. She escaped, having Nature and Ice powers. She was renamed Frostkit, AKA Frosto.
Meanwhile, an AirClan outcast, Ravenlight (Dark and Light) has powers far beyond anything even Outs have ever seen. Ravenlight is trying to control all the Clan cats with his powers, including WeirdClan. Because he is so powerful, he gives rogues, loners, and kittypets powers (only Clan cats have powers) and mind-controls them. The group, called the Ravs, can kill cats with one swipe. Now, WeirdClan must fight back against Rav and the Clans, to end the war ad restore peace.

When Firo and Brook became apprentices, they learned about Ravenlight, a dangerous cat leading the Ravs, that wanted to kill them if they resisted joining the Ravs.

By the time Fleetfeather was a warrior, he was giving Brookpaw the information she needed to stay away from the Clans’ wrath. However, Bloodfur will soon discover the secret his brother is hiding…
