Slate sneered at the cougar cub, “Just wait until Yuri comes! She’ll pay for not becoming evil!”
~Feather~
Feather bites Slate’s paw. “Ew.” She shakes her head. “You taste yucky.”
Koshiro growls. “Shut up, kitty.” His eyes suddenly lit up. “I have an idea! Guards, take this hairball to the dungeon!”
(Yes, he has a gosh darn dungeon in his mansion.)
.*Slate*.
“Wow, a dungeon?!” Slate was amazed.
~Feather~
“I hate you,” states Feather.
“Good!” Koshiro smiles.
.*Slate*.
“Like we care. Now, shut up!” Slate looks at Snow “And you come too, I’m not letting you out of my sight.” with that she walks after the guards, Snow shuffling behind her.
~Spur~
Spur stomps his foot in frustration. “It’s so annoying!” he whines, glaring at the cub.
“Stop your whining, Spur.” Koshiro demands. “We will get that stupid dog to pay, don’t you worry.”
~Foliis~
“Nuh uh, Yuri. I will support Nyx as her wing is, um”- she glanced at where Nyx’s wing should be -“not here currently, had we will see how bad the situation is. Come on!” Foliis and Nyx fly over to Koshiro’s mansion, and Nyx turns to Foliis. “I need a closer look.”
They float down to the window, and Nyx gazes in.
Foliis glances at her. “What are they saying?”
“I don’t know… something about Yuri… a dungeon… Feather!”
Yuri stands in front of the other animals. As she looks towards the sky, she sees Foliis and Nyx above her. “What did you find?” She howls.
~Nyx~
Nyx glanced at Foliis. “Feather‘a not dead,” she announced. “She’s being held in the dungeon. They think you’re coming.”
“I’M COMING, FEATHER!” Athena howled desperately. “HOLD ON!”
“Athena…” Yuri barks, “stay safe. Now go! Go get Feather!”
~Athena~
Athena doesn’t listen to Yuri and randomly sprints off in the wrong direction. Athena has no idea where Koshiro lives.
“This way!” yells Foliis.
“THANK YOU!” Athena runs in the way Foliis told her and jumps in through a window, smashing it, trying to ignore the cuts.
She finds herself face to face with Koshiro, Spur, Slate, Snow, and all the Bloodclaws. “Darn I’m going to die. THIS IS FOR YOU, FEATHER!”
She hurls herself at Koshiro.
Meanwhile…
“We should probably go help Athena,” Raven tells Cody. “Most likely she’s going to die.”
Slate + Sharpclaw + The Bloodclaws-
All of the animals threw themselves at Athena, “You will never get your cub!” Slate shouts. Sharpclaw growls in agreement as they bring her down.
Yuri hears a loud growl in the distance. No, no… no, please! Not Athena! She pleads silently. Turning her head to the small group in the gray alleyway, she howls. “We have got to help her! Follow me.” She barks to Fireblaze. “Let’s go!”
(RIP, I keep forgetting that the only time Yuri uses contractions is when she says “Let’s go”. XD)
Fireblaze and Sandy nod and run after Yuri.
~Victoria~
“I’m coming, too!” Victoria called.
~Spur~
With the cub safely in the dungeon, Spur slumps down next to his partners, exhausted. “What a day!” he snaps, “I’m never liking chairs again! Or those annoying… perfect little animals!”
He folds his wings. “Yuri should come pay! That lawyer should go get herself fired again! The cougars should come over to our side! And… and the annoying Fire kid should stay away from me!” he demanded.
.*Slate*.
“Yes! Yuri should pay! And those cougars, just making alliances left and right. Their all such a-” she breaks off as she hears a knocking at the door, “Who is that?” she wonders out loud, “Maybe its Yuri already. She gets up and walks to the door as she opens it she sees Sharpclaw the leader of the Bloodclaws. “May I talk to Koshiro?” he asks.
“Just as I suspected. Yuri’s loved by all. Her having in army’s only making things worse. And now there are cougars involved. Geez.” Koshiro murmurs under his breath, barely loud enough for the others to hear him.
~Feather~
Feather sits alone in the dungeon, staring at the floor.
“Hey there, little one.” A voice softly mews.
Feather turns around. A jet-black fox with white paws is sitting there, half-smiling. “New here?”
Feather backs away. “In a matter of speaking, yes.”
“Ah.” The fox nods her head. “I’m Tempest. I hope you’re comfortable, because there’s no way out of here. I’ve been trying to escape for” – she stares at a wall, thinking – “over 50 moons. It doesn’t work.”
Feather gazes at Tempest, shocked.
“Anyway, you must be Athena’s daughter.”
Feather tilts her head. “How do you know?”
“Heard them speakin’ ‘bout you.”
Molly-
Molly was terrified. Koshiro could kidnap any of us, just like that… I never thought about it. Always pushed the nightmare aside. But now? The nightmare is reality.
Rewrite the Stars~Sandy~
Sandy looks at Molly. The cow’s eyes reflect her own fear.
“It’s okay, Molly,” Sandy clucks quietly, “I know it seems like we’ll never make it, but I think we will. We’ve been in bad situations before, after all.”
Molly-
“I know.” said Molly. But what if we don’t make it through this time? Molly silently added.
MothPool forever~Feather~
Feather hears her mother. “Oh, no. Mama’s going to die.”
~Tempest~
Tempest screeches, and leaps at the door. “I’m coming, Athena! We’re coming!”
Athena turns pale. “Tempest? Tempest, is that you?”
“It’s me, Athena. We’re getting you to safety!”
“But after what I did to you-”
“You will live, even if its the last thing I ever do! Come on, Feather, help me!”
“Feather’s there?”
“Yes, Athena. We’re going to live!”
~Slash~ (none of the animals have met her before)
Slash stares at Koshiro’s mansion, having noticed the fighting. A young cub is in danger… she thinks sympathetically.
Swiftly, she leaps into the middle of the action and draws her sword. “I’ll help you!” she tells the cougar quickly.
(I forgot to mention- Slash met Spur before. Just not anyone else.)
~Dusty~
Dusty stood among her friends, feeling fear overtake her. Something is wrong. She recognized Molly, who seemed scared, and felt the urge to comfort her friend. She looked around. There was a war… She couldn’t quite figure out what was going on but… It was something about Koshiro? “We have to defeat Koshiro!” Fireblaze clucked, “Feather is in grave danger!” “Feather?!” Dusty gasped quietly, “Oh, no! That’s Athena’s cub!” She glanced at Tuft and Fur, and was relieved to see that they were safe, playing with Victoria. Dusty suddenly frowned, confused. She had never met Athena’s cubs! How would she know them? Wasn’t she supposed to be at the hospital? Dusty opened her eyes to find herself in her hospital bed. “Something is wrong…” she whispered to Elderberry, “I can feel it!”
Elderberry narrowed her eyes. “You may have a fever…” she clucked. Dusty sighed. How was she supposed to explain to Elderberry that she often knew what Sandy was feeling?
Feather (the cat :P)-
Feather races through the door and bursts into the room, panting she quickly tells Elderberry and Dusty what happened. “You must come! There will be many injured, and Athena could die!” she was pacing around the room, “And Koshiro has recruited Sharpclaw and his Bloodclaws. They are AlleyClan’s biggest enemy. Wait! That’s it! I can bring AlleyClan! Then we’ll have three doctors, Me you and my apprentice, Faith. If AlleyClan comes, we will surely win! Of course, I would have to get Shadow to agree. What do you think? Is it worth a try?”
~Elderberry~
“I think we must try. It’s our job to help those who were injured,” Elderberry agrees. With a nod, she grabs her first aid kit and follows Feather. “Dusty should stay, though. It’s too dangerous for someone who is still recovering from illness.”
~Dusty~
Dusty’s beak drops open- her dream had been so close to the truth! So this really was happening…
But she was too weak to help her friends, and she could only hope they were okay. With a sigh she put her head down, knowing there was truly nothing she could do to help. A tear rolled down her face as she realized how useless she was right now.
~Athena~
Athena battled against the Bloodclaws and Slate. She gasped for air, desperately slashing at the other cougars.
She charged at the door, attempting to knock it down. She slammed against it, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. The door gave a massive creak and wobbled slightly. It’s working!
Athena did it again and again, still fighting against the Koshiro’s friends.
“Raaaaar!” Athena knocked them door down, and Feather raced out. “Go, go!”
~Spur~
“They’re getting away!” Spur cried out.
~Slash~
“Ha! So you thought you were gonna win? “Slash flashed Spur a triumphant look before running after the cougars.
~Sheila~
“I will stay here, In case I need to call for help,” Sheila told Yuri, “Fireblaze and Sandy, yes you may go.” She narrowed her eyes as she saw Victoria run after the group. The hen was far too young and impulsive. “Victoria, you should stay, too,” she told her.
Victoria stomped her foot stubbornly, “No! I have to help!”
~Fireblaze~
“Listen to Sheila!” Fireblaze snapped. I don’t have time for this!!
“You need to watch Tuft and Fur,” Sheila said tactfully, and to Fireblaze’s relief Vicky didn’t object this time. She turned to Yuri, “Alright. We got rid of that problem. Now let’s go help Athena!”
~Slash~ (to Fireblaze, Yuri, and Sandy)
Slash caught sight of a dog and two chickens running up to the mansion. Before they could reach the cougars, she blocked them with her sword. “State your intentions!” she ordered, then turned to Athena, “Are they allies?”
~Athena~
“Honestly, I’m so confused right now I have no idea what’s happening or who’s who.”
“Yes, we are allies of Athena!” Yuri steps to the front of the group. From under her jacket, she pulls out a small device of some sort. She presses a button, and a thin, blue blade emerges from it. “This is a Holo-Sword.” Yuri howls. “Everyone, let’s go!”
~Slash~
Slash dips her head to the animals and lets them pass.
Molly-
The wait was torture. Fear for Yuri, Sandy, and Fireblaze crept into Molly’s heart. If I lost them… no. It would be unbearable. They’re my friends. I can’t lose them.
