In a barren, rough landscape live cats. Every day, more and more cats die of starvation and dehydration, or the wounds created from fighting others for scraps of food. Now you might be wondering why they don’t leave for a better place to call home. Some try, but no one knows of anyone who has made it through these lands that stretch for far more than any cat living here knows.
Then one day, news comes of a journey called the Peregrination to Survival. It would be dangerous – monsters no one has ever heard of, storms that can easily rip up the ground, you name it – but it is one many are willing to take for what lies beyond.

So many people think they have to hate Jessy if they ship BrambleXSquirrel (me and Turtle are the only BrambleXSquirrel shippers I know so far who like Jessy). But that doesn’t make sense considering Jessy never disapproved of Bramblestar’s relationship with Squirrelflight, and actually left the clan to help them.
Yeah! There’s no reason you can’t like BrambleXSquirrel AND Jessy.
And no reason you can’t love Jessy AND Squirrelflight! I think they’re both amazing!

It continues to baffle me why on EARTH people hate Jessy.
I’ve thought about her really hard, and I can’t even come up with a semi reasonable reason to hate her!

The excuse they usually come up with is “she tried to steal Bramblestar from Squirrelflight”, but that’s just not true! If that was her intention, she wouldn’t have selflessly left the Clans, would she?
EXACTLY! And if she tried to “steal Bramblestar from Squirrelflight”, then she wouldn’t have helped to heal their relationship, would she?
I’m thinking of maybe adding a section to my article where I use direct quotes from Bramblestar’s storm to defend Jessy. Do you think I should do that?
I would probably include some quotes anyways but having them all in one place might make it more organized and deliver the message better.
Yeah, I think you should. The more organized, the better. Plus if it’s more organized with quotes and stuff, you might be more likely to make Jessy haters re-think their hate!
