Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s gift exchange! As always, your creations were absolutely wonderful and you never fail to blow me away with your talent and creativity! To find your name in...
Okay, so this post is a little later than what I would’ve wanted, but I’ve had a busy week 😛 I’m also a little tired, so, only one cat pic this time 😛 You’re getting plenty from Cadvent, anyway...
The seventh edition of the Blog Monthly is here – written by Lil, fresh off the printing press Hello, everyone!! The Blog Monthly is back and better than ever! I hope you all love this edition, in my opinion it is one...
I claim this page! RP for anyone who comes across this. Its pretty much about when when a loner named Wren decides to form a group. She got the idea from a StarClan cat named Breezeroze to call it a Clan. And then cats come but they want to live as a different Clan,so 5 Clans form:RippleClan of the river,TreeClan of the tall trees,RootClan of the forest floor,GorseClan of the open land, and PineClan of the shadowy forest. Here’s the form.

Wrenkit
Wren(obviously because I already said it)
RippleClan
14 moons
Leader(I want to say MC,but I need to be leader)
Lithe brown tabby she-cat with a white spot on chest that is hard to see and emerald eyes
Her mother,Flower, and Wren’s littermates,Mint and Moon, all drowned,so Wren wanted to learn and teach cats how to swim so they won’t drown.
(I’m too lazy to put this right now)
Rules:
Only kill someone else if they say you can
You can kill yourself
If you die,you can’t keep on coming back, only some cats are able to have 2 or 3 lives, and only leaders get all 9 lives
Try to keep your name a loner name,so DON’T add on a suffix,though ancient names(Moth Flight,Gray Wing,Quiet Rain etc.)are allowed
And most importantly,have fun!
Wren padded through the willow forest. I could’ve saved them, she thought. Its all my fault. I should have been able to detect that river. They asked me to keep watch, and I should have done that. Wren sighed. “I don’t want to lose another cat like that,” she whispered to herself. “That could be done two ways:I could keep a better watch,or I could learn to swim. I could teach other cats to swim.” Wren shook herself. I can learn to swim. I would never be able to detect all those rivers. I’ll learn to swim. Its getting late,Wren thought. I’ll make a den for the night. Wren found a beech tree and scraped out a nest underneath the roots.
“Oh who do we have here,Patch?” Wren heard the voice of a young female. “A little flea-pelt lost in the woods. I don’t know what its doing here, but what I do know is that its in our territory, and that it needs to be taught a lesson. What do you think,Bluebell?” Wren opened her eyes. Two cats surrounded her. There was a tortoiseshell tom with amber eyes and a pregnant blue-gray she-cat with a black tail and deep blue eyes. The cat who seemed to be Bluebell replied”this cat is only a youngster, but who knows what she can do to our kits? I say we get rid of this cat.” Wren couldn’t stand it anymore. She unsheathed her claws and stood up. “I say you two should be the ones to leave,” she growled. Patch quickly leaped in front of Bluebell. “Stay away from her,” he snarled. “Oh,I won’t do anything to her,if you join me.” Patch lashed his tail. “We’d rather leave than join you. Why would we join you anyways?” Wren bared her teeth. “Because you’d be safer. I am I strong fighter(lie),great healer, and amazing swimmer. I could teach you these skills.” Bluebell looked interested. “Teach us then,” she smiled. Wren flattened her fur. “Only if you join me.” Bluebell instantly meowed”I’ll join you!” Patch circled Wren. “Never. Bluebell, remember what you just said:this cat may be a youngster, but who knows what she’ll do to our kits. You’re greatening the chance that they will die.” Bluebell looked like she was going to agree, but then meowed”maybe not. If this cat is really going to do what she just said, the kits will have a greater chance of survival.” Patch seemed upset and angry. “Please,” he pleaded. “Don’t join. We can’t trust her.” Bluebell shook her head. “No. This is the best life for my kits. If you want to leave, then leave. I can handle without you.” Patch looked taken aback. “You can’t possibly . . .” he murmured. “Fine. I’ll join,to stay with you.” He glared at Wren. “But don’t expect me to take orders from that fleapelt,” Patch spat.
I want to join! I saw your name highlighted and I clicked it and found this! Here is my form…

Wren chased after the squirrel as Patch bounded in front of it. He sheathed and unsheathed his claws while he waited for Wren to chase it into his paws. Patch lifted a paw and gave the squirrel a killing blow. “We make a great team,” Wren panted. Patch dipped his head. “I’m sorry I didn’t trust you at first. You were the best choice after all.” Wren nuzzled his cheek. “There’s nothing to be sorry about. Any cat would act that way to a stranger when their mate or kits could be in danger from the cat. Now let’s get back to Bluebell and the kits.” Wren bounded off with Patch following close behind. “Wait!” Wren stopped in her tracks. Patch skidded to a halt beside her. “What’s wrong?” Wren signaled with her tail to some moving white fur. She scented the air. “Its a cat,” she whispered to Patch. “What’s it doing?”Wren could see he was trying to stay calm, but the fur was rippling along his shoulders and spine. “You hide in those bushes and be ready to attack while I check it out.” Once she was sure that Patch had reached the bushes, she started to creep along the edge of the clearing that she was standing in until she could make out a young white tortoiseshell she-cat with blue eyes on the other side of the reeds. “Hello!” She called to the cat. The cat’s head popped out of the reeds. “H–hi,I’m Snow.” Wren took a step closer. “I’m Wren. You seem lonely. Do you want to join my group?”
Snow blinked and took a small step back,
“A… Group? Like a group of loners or…?” She spotted the cat called Patch and gave a unsure meow “Depends, how many are you? I don’t like being alone but.. Are there rules? Do you have a camp or something?”
She looked back to Wren and forced herself to slightly bristle, though she was only getting slowly frightened.
She didn’t know hardly anything about these cats, she couldn’t… But her mind was beginning for her to just give up and be friendly like she always was, she stopped and relaxed, quickly deciding what to do, and went back to her normal friendly playful manner.
I am changing my age to about 7/8 moons old.
Snow padded cheerfully through the forest her tail held high as she stepped over the soft New-Leaf grass, she sniffed at the small flower buds and purred, happy that the long leaf-bare was finally over, a soft hiss was hear behind her and she turned to see the dusty brown tom meow crossly to his mate beside him,
“I still don’t see why we needed her-” he began but was interrupted by the white and ginger elder beside him,
“We are old, face it Dusty, we were driven out of our home by those flea fur cats and she was the only one to help us before we were damaged any worse.” the ginger tabby paused hopping delicately over a log, her white paws hit the ground with a crunch as she continued, “She said she had a den we could sleep in until we found our new home, that’s the best thing that could have happened to us. We’re staying with her.”
They continued along until Snow spotted her home, it was a small cave that she had found, the entrance might be a squeeze for the pair but inside there was plenty of room.
“Come on Autumn, Dusty, we’re here.” Snow called as she darted into the den.
Ignore this! I just got ur reply!!!
Wren stared calmly at Snow. “Well, there’s me,and Patch. There’s another cat named Bluebell. She’s Patch’s mate. And their three day-old(3 kits that are a day old)kits. And the rules . . .not much yet. Our camp, well we’re still looking for a territory. We just have a den for now,but we’ll be moving soon to another place until we find a territory that fits us.” Wren rested her tail on Snow’s spine. “So,are you up to it?”

Okay,so currently . . .I’m the only leader
Wren pricked her ears. She could hear the sound of running water. But this isn’t anything like the forest I’m in. Then everything went black as she blinked. Now she was in the den,but only her. There was no trace of her companions. She saw stars appear in the night sky. Then, one of the stars started to spin and came closer. Wren flinched. The star transformed into a starry cat. “Hello. I am Breezerose,” the cat meowed. “I heard you wanted to form a group.” Wren nodded slowly. “I once lived in a group called WindClan. There were four other Clans:ThunderClan,RiverClan,ShadowClan, and SkyClan. Then I died.” An idea popped into Wren’s mind. “I can call my group a Clan. I’ll name it RippleClan.” Breezeroze disappeared into thin air,but Wren could Hear her singing.

(Sorry for late reply! I did post a reply but it didn’t send… 🙁 So anyway here I go!)
Snow blinked her eyes open, the tree den was a little cramped with all the cats but she was fine with it, she had accepted going with Wren and Patch and now that she had seen and made friends with Bluebell and her kits, she felt at home, it was still night she could tell from the darkness around her. She had been sleeping next to Bluebell and sat up beside her, she looked at the kits sweetly, all of them sleeping dreamlessly, she wondered what their names were but then decided to go outside for some air, she padded past Patch and Wren and padded outside.
The forest was peaceful and quiet, with only a few fireflies dancing around like little specks of stars, Snow tried to get on but she failed she sat down and looked at the stars above in peace.
Wren jerked her head up. The dawn light was dappling the forest floor. She looked behind her. A calico she-kit was scrambling over Wren. A silver tom was standing underneath his sister. Their sister was still sleeping at her mother’s belly as Bluebell shared a mouse with Patch. “Where’s Snow?” Wren glanced around nervously. Patch looked up from the mouse. “She went out to hunt,” he replied. “Mommy?” The silver tom-kit started. “Yes,dear.” Bluebell licked her lips. “We want to hunt!” Wren stood up and let the kits slide down. “Do you want to go for a walk, kits?” The kits bounced on their toes as Wren woke the third kit. It was their first time out of the cramped den. The four padded out of the den into the fresh air.
Wren saw a white spot in the distance. Wren hurried toward it,with the three kits at her heels. Getting closer, she saw that it was Snow stalking a small squirrel. Snow glanced at Wren. Wren whispered to the kits, careful not to alert the squirrel. “You see that squirrel? Watch how Snow catches it,and then we’ll practice. Just stay quiet. Okay?” The kits nodded and watched Snow. Snow moved her tail to look like the it was one of the many ferns. Then, she slowly started to creep toward it. Once she was a short sprint away,Snow leaped about halfway to the squirrel and ran at it. She gave it a killing bite and carried it to Wren. “Now, kits. What did you see Snow do first?” The kits thought for a moment, and then the blue-gray she-cat with ginger spots meowed”she stalked it until she reached some ferns.” Snow nodded. “Then?” This time, the silver tom was the first to answer. “She waved her tail to make it look like it was a fern in the breeze.”
“Correct. Then what?”
“She crept up on it really slowly with her tail still moving like a fern,” the kits all said at the same time.
“Finally?”
“Snow got into a close distance, leapt halfway there, and then ran to it and killed it,” the calico said.
Wren nodded. “Now let’s get back to the den.”
Robin padded in the pine forest. She was enjoying all the scents, and her uncanny ability to slink in shadows, which were helped by her black pelt. She perked her ears up. Was that… meowing coming from the woods near the river? She ran out of the pines, casting a longing glance, and skidded to a stop near the river. He could scent several cats, but were they friendly? Suddenly she saw a white pelt. Was it…? Yes, it was! “Snow!” called out Robin. “It’s me, Robin! Remember me? We hunted together for several moons before I went to the pines!”
Snow spun around her eyes wide, at the jet black she-cat as she came bounding up to her. Snow blinked and reared back, alarmed,
“Hey! wha-” Snow cried right before the two she-cats crashed into each other. “Ugh…” Snow groaned, her body aching, she quickly stood up and glared at the new commer, the she-cat sat down her ears flattened in pain. Snow genty sniffed her and gasped.
“R-Robin? H-How did you find me? Whats it like back at the Pines? What- Where?…”
“I scented some cats here, and then I thought that I scented you, so I came to check it out. May I stay here? I mean, if your… friends don’t mind…” Robin looked warily at the strange cats who were beginning to bristle. “I mean, I can go back to the pines…”
Snow looked at Robin and looked thoughtful,
“…You’ll have to ask Wren, but I’m sure she’ll let you join! Come on, the den is this way. Might wanna be careful though…” Snow flashed back to the time she was recruited, “Bluebell just had kits and Patch is protective of her, might take a while for you to earn their trust…”
Snow led the way to the den and stopped in front of it. “Sat here. I’ll get Wren.” Snow made sure her friend was comfortable and darted inside, “Wren?” she meowed softly, “I found my friend and… She wants to join the group.”
Wren looked up from a mouse. “We always welcome cats. Of course she can join!”
Patch looked up sleepily at Wren. “What is is?”
Wren took a bite out of the mouse. “A new cat. I want you to go hunting. Snow, you go collect some moss for a new nest.”
Snow nodded and padded into the woods, with Patch walking close behind her. Wren followed. She sat down in front of Robin. “So. Welcome to RippleClan. I’m Wren, the leader. ” Snow dipped her head.
Wren stood up and waved her tail. “Come. I’ll show you the den.”
Bluefire’s nose twitched. Cat scent? Dropping into a crouch, she stalked towards the scent. A clump of ferns shifted. There! As Bluefire prepared to pounce, a mewling whine drifted from the ferns. She shot upright. A kit! Bluefire darted forwards, parting the ferns to look inside. Huddled in the leafy stalks is a small dark grey tom-kit. His wide eyes blink up at her, dark blue. A double-take. His right eye looked off… the bottom half is orange! Next to the tom-kit, a tiny black she-kit stares up with clover-green eyes. Her eyes are speckled with silver.
“What are your names, kits?” Bluefire asked.
“We don’t have names,” the kits answered.
“Well, then.” She paused. “I’ll call you Storm, for your pelt,” she told the tom, “and you Clover, for your eyes,” she informed the she-kit.
“We like our names,” Clover announced after a moment. “Our parents left us here. They didn’t want us anymore.”
“They said we were weak. So they left us and kept Shard,” Storm said.
“Who is Shard? And who are your parents?” Bluefire wondered.
“Shard is our brother. He’s black-and-grey, with jagged sort of patches, and his eyes are ice blue,” Clover explained.
“Our parents are Blaze and Night. Blaze, our dad, is grey with orange eyes. Night is black with blue eyes,” Storm detailed.
“Blaze and Night…” Bluefire shuddered. She’d run into them before, but she hadn’t known they were mates. And to leave two kits alone in the woods? They were the worst kind of rogue. “Well, you don’t have to worry about them anymore,” she decided. “I will take care of you now.”
