(Sorry I’ve been inactive, I have no idea what’s going on.)
Dawn turned back and fought off the badger with the help of the clan cats and her friends (I’ll just consider everyone to be her friend). She screeched when the badger landed a heavy blow on her flank. The wind was knocked out of her.
Sagepaw jumped on the badger’s back just as another she-cat bit into it’s throat. Latching onto the badger’s back with his forepaws, he kicked furiously at the badger’s back end.
(Documentary guy voice)
The mama badger was scared. There were too many cats. She fled back to her babies, careful to take a different route than from the one she took to get, lest she run into more cats.
Once the badger turned around, Horizon lifted his head to yowl to the others. “Let it go! There have been enough casualties. The badger won’t bother us again anytime soon.” He then turned to his cats, making sure none of them were hurt severely. After checking through and making sure all wounds were attended to, he faced the newcomers. “Hello there. My name is Horizon, we come from a group of cats by the lake. I heard you call yourself the clans?”
Doveflight nodded at the white and ginger tom. “We come from over the mountains, towards the rising sun. There are five clans, living in forests, moors, and in between rivers.”
“We are here because of the destiny our ancestors have planned for us,” Tansyfur explained. “I’m Tansyfur, this is Doveflight, the brown tom is Falconwing, the younger tom Sagepaw, and Fawnleap and Lichenpelt are in the bushes.”
Moon backed away. “Oh. Sorry for being so hostile, er, Tansyfur.” He stared at the ground. “And sorry for bumping into you. I’m Moon. I have a sister, Sun, and a mate, Shimmer. She’s expecting my kits.” Moon began to tell them about how the group got there. “So, do you want to join us?”
Robin glared at the cats, still wary. A group of cats like this… and there five of them.
“I’m Robin.” Moving towards Moon, Robin growled quietly. “Are you sure we want these strangers coming into camp?”
Tansyfur shook her head. “We’re on a quest, so we have to refuse anything permanent. But it would be nice to stay somewhere for now while our wounds heal, if you don’t mind.”
“We’re always happy to take newcomers in,” Moon purred.
“Well, they need shelter.” Moon blinked at Robin. “But you’re right. We should be on guard in case…you know.” He replied quietly to her.
“Wow that’s a lot of you guys. What are you here for exactly?” Blitz asked curious of the newcomers.
Ice Shadow followed Sojourn and the new cats. She was worried. What would her parents think about her just leaving like this? She shook the thought off. This was more important. “Sojourn,” she whispered so the others couldn’t hear. “Do you know where we’re going?”
~
Koi Scale sat near Primrose and Curzon, eating a mouse. “Hey, have either of you seen my sister Ice Shadow? She’s been gone a while… maybe I should go look for her.”
~
Sleek Jay and Broken Shard scanned the camp. “Ice Shadow?” Sleek Jay called. “Ice Shadow, where are you?”
“Ice Shadow!” Broken Shard joined in, calling for their kit. “Ice Shadow!” The two raced off into the forest, following their daughter’s scent. “Koi Scale, stay here,” Broken Shard ordered as they ran past their other kit.
Curzon shook his head.
“No. Lets go look for her though!” He chirped, dashing to the camp entrance.
Koi Scale cursed. “Curzon, wait! It’s not safe!” He started after the tom. Then he turned back to Primrose. “Please, stay here.” Then he dashed after Curzon, trying to keep him in view while not tripping over anything. “Curzon! Come back!”
Curzon slowed down.
“But.. but what if Ice Shadow is in trouble?” He mewed. “We should try to help!”
This is for Blu and Maple!
Primrose –
“No, wait, I-!” She sighed. Primrose wanted to show Koi Scale that she wasn’t helpless! She followed Ice Shadow’s scent and darted right past Ice Shadow And Koi Scale’s parents. Primrose sighed in relief as she saw the she-kit. Then gasped as she saw the strangers. “What’s happening? Are they hurt? I can help! Did you see me heal Moon? I can help, I really can,” She mewed, looking at the cats. Unlike her sister, Diamond, Primrose wanted to help, not accuse. “Use horsetail. It’ll take away the infection and bleeding, and you find it in these places. Or actually, we should . . . probably use dried oak leaves . . .” She meowed quitetly as she saw an oak leaf fall down from the trees. There were loads of them! She picked one up and, after chewing it, pressed it onto the cat’s (Lichenpelt) wounds. “Is this helping? Or do you want horsetail? Just tell me if I’m hurting you.”
Lichenpelt winced. “I can only trust you to say if it works, but I think it could be doing something. You sound like you know what you’re doing, at least.”
Sojourn –
Sojourn looked down at Fawnleap, and ran into the bushes, looking for herbs.
He came back quickly, he knew it wasn’t dock, and he didn’t know the herb name, but he knew it helped.
He pressed the leaves into the wound, and gestured for Ice Shadow to check Lichenpelt for wounds.
“Don’t worry, you’ll survive.” He mewed, “I’ve seen worse.”
Ice Shadow looked over Lichenpelt. “Wow, you don’t have many wounds. Just a few scratches. Sojourn ummm what do you use for scratches? Just cobwebs? And marigold, right, to prevent infection?”
(I hope this is on par with whatever happened if not let me know =D)
Sojourn –
“Yeah that sounds about right.”
He glanced briefly to Ice Sjadow and then back at Fawnleap and continued pressing leaves into the wound
Fawnleap were winced at the stinging, but she trusted these cats. “Thank you.” Lichenpelt still glances warily at the two cats, but the herbs seem to be working.
Sojourn –
Sojourn looked around, as he continued to apply the herbs.
“Where do you think your friends are now, becuase our group is just driving out badgers, there might be injuries.”
“I’m not sure,” Lichenpelt answered. “But they heard you guys, then the badger, and went to help.”
Sojourn –
“As long as they don’t want to hurt us, I’m fine .”
Primrose –
“Yes, I-I’ve trained. My sister always wanted we to be mor of a fighter – like her – but I could never be anything but a healer. I, uh, now know all of the herbs we use to heal.” She mewed. So these cats mean no harm – that’s good.
Primrose finished the cat’s wounds and moved onto the next one (Fawnleap). “I’m going to use the same things on you, if that’s okay.” She pressed the leftover horsetail onto her scratches and wounds. “Is this okay? I’m Primrose, by the way. Just tell me if you need anything else.”
Fawnleap smiled. “Hello, Primrose. I’m Fawnleap, my friend here is Lichenpelt. How many of you are there?”
(Of I replied but it didn’t happen 🙁 😛 )
Primrose –
“Well, there’s quite a few of us . . . Ice Shadow is my friend . . . I think . . .” (I kinda want Ice Shadow to hate Primrose for some reason 😛 probably because it feels like Primrose is trying to be a tiny, dainty, shy weirdo to her brother 😛 soz I’m weird)
Diamond – (she’s alive!)
“Primrose? . . . Primrose!” Diamond had last seen her sister with Koi Scale and Curzon . . . Where was she now?
Diamond realised how different Primrose was to her. When she was a kit, all of the other kits looked up to her, she was the fierce kit leader. Primrose . . . Primrose was the shy kit follower. Where was she?!
Fire Blossom gasped in pain. She was coated in blood. Fire Blossom started limping her way back to camp,but she collapsed and lost conciousness.
When she opened her eyes,Sky Moon was bending over her. Her brother was licking a poloutice of marigold over where the base of her ear was supposed to be.
“We needed to her you back to camp,”Sky Moon meowed. “Horizon! We need to get back to camp! I’ve treated everyone,and Fire Blossom is the most injured.”
Sky Moon nudged her up. He let her lean on him and they carefully made their way back.
Jasmine tasted the air. Cat scent. Lots of cats! She warily stalked around. The young she-cat let out a startled screech when she spotted a group of cats through the bushes. Fox dung! Now they now I’m here for sure! They’re going to rip my pelt off!
Horizon nodded. “Sprinkle,” he called. “Help Sky Moon bring Fire Blossom back to camp.” Sprinkle nodded back and caught up to Sky Moon, then pressed against Fire Blossoms other side and took some more of her weight.
Rushing over to Fire Blossom’s side, Moon took some of her weight from Sky Moon and Sprinkle, helping carry her to camp.
It was dark.
Shadow had been drifting in and out of conciousness for the last few days because of his wound. Opening his eyes, the black tom saw a beautiful she-cat in front of him.
“Fawn,” he whispered, quaking with grief. “Is this…a dream?” Shadow looked around in wonder. It was a huge forest, with birdsong carrying through the trees.
Fawn dipped her head. “I miss you,” she whispered, avoiding his question. “I know Moon was my mate, but you and Sun always cared for me like littermates.”
“But we are littermates,” Shadow replied. “You and I. Half-siblings.” The black tom, lost in greif, could only stare at Fawn. “Remember Dance, Ice, and Shard?” A lump grew in his throat as he added, “And Gem.”
Dance, Ice and Shard were Fawn’s siblings. Gem was Shadow’s sister. All lost to either greencough or the fire, Shadow, Sun, and Moon were the sole survivors from their entire group.
“How could I forget?” Fawn sobbed. “My kin..”
“But why did you bring me here?” Shadow murmured, gently placing his tail on Fawn’s shoulder. “Why not bring Moon? Or Sun?”
“I was not the one to bring you here.” Fawn took a shaky breath, and pointed her quivering tail at a meadow beside the forest. “Destiny did. I’m not pretending.” She looked into Shadow’s eyes. “This-all this-could belong to your group.” Fawn’s amber eyes shone. “You just have to follow the right path.”
“Wait! What do you mean?” Shadow called. Did Fawn want the group to go somewhere? Feeling himself wake up, Shadow grunted and stood up, but he was too weak to. His legs buckled, and he flopped down again. He realized with a sinking sensation that Sun wasn’t there. He saw her in the clearing, talking to another cat.
“Hey! You!” Shadow exclaimed to the cat talking to Sun. “Fetch the leader! A dead cat spoke to me.”
The cat in the clearing can be anyone.
Windswpt looked up. “Shadow! Are you okay? Horizon’s out dealing with the badger, what’s wrong? A-a dead cat?”
Shadow rolled his eyes. “Haven’t you been listening? Yes, a dead cat! Now, go get the leader!”
Windswept nodded, and bounded away to fetch the leader. As soon as Windswept was out of sight, Shadow sank to the ground and drew in a shaky breath.
“It’ll be okay, Shadow….” he whispered, shakily. “I am okay….”
(Can someone catch me up? Sorry I went a bit inactive here :P)
Lacey and Spiderweb existed.
Boulder existed.
(Oof Same)
Night existed as well.
(umm is it bad I feel the same?)
(Basically they went after a badger to chase it away, then they met the clan cats and the badger ran away, now they’re just introducing themselves. I think they’re gonna go back to camp soon)
Jasmine peered our of the undergrowth. These cats seemed . . . . friendly. After so long of traveling to who knows where, could this be my new home? Jasmine didn’t know if to step out and risk being hurt, or should she keep on living alone. She decided to take the risk. Coming out of hiding,she stammered “h–hello. I’m J–Ja–Jasmine.”
Horizon lifted his head and called to his cats. “Let us return to camp! We shall bring these cats from the clans back with us as visitors.”
~~~So I’m not really feeling this roleplay, I think I want to drop it, or add magic powers because that’s always fun, only I think that it would be too similar to the tests if I do that, idk
(There’s a few role plays that have magic powers! I’m sure it’d be fine if you did add them!)
To be honest I’m the same with the Tests
I’m going through a bit of a hard time mentally right now, and the other night I was seriously going to go onto it and say it’s either ending or control is being handed over to someone else.
Luckily I didn’t but I just feel really disconnected from all my characters
Oh but so many people are doing it and everyone likes it! I just feel like I don’t have the time for this one, but I guess I’ll try.
Just keep persevering with it.
The Tests didn’t start out popular, I had to work for it. I think the thing that got the most people involved was spamming it everywhere that it vaguely made sense to put it, and posting a string of Roleplay that Luana and Dune had already had, and this made loads of people interested in the storylines.
Also, the more people you get the more they will post polls, and skits and all other stuff, which get people interested in what the heck they’d are going on about !
Yeah, there probably a lot of work going into that. I might keep going with this.
Ice Shadow stuck close to Sojourn as all the cats traveled back to camp.
~
Koi Scale, Curzon, and Primrose traveled together. “Psst. Curzon,” Koi Scale whispered. “You want to hang out later or something?”
~
Sleek Jay peered at the new group, relieved to see that Ice Shadow was among them. “She’s safe,” she murmured to Broken Shard.
This is my attempt at being active on this page…
“Sure!” Curzon chirped. Sniffing the air, his fur rises. “Do… do you smell that? It smells… like new cats… a lot of them! Maybe we should head back to camp.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” Koi Scale agreed. “Hey, do you think we’ll be allowed out of camp by ourselves soon?”
Diamond and Primrose –
Primrose wasn’t one for asking about secrets, but she began to feel out of place as Koi Scale whispered to Curzon.
Suppose he didn’t like her?
Suppose he was angry at her for going off instead of staying there?
Primrose shook the thoughts from her head.
Suppose they were good things.
Suppose he would tell her after.
She smiled and walked on, though still felt sad.
Diamond was relived to see Primrose standing with Koi Scale and Curzon. “Primrose! Prim!” She meowed, speeding up to her. “Where did you go? Why didn’t you tell me?!” She smiled. “Doesn’t matter, you’re safe . . .” Dismond stopped, looking at Primrose. She was smiling, but it was forced. Diamond decided not to ask her if she was okay – Primrose hated that. So she kept on walking beside Primrose, walking back to the waiting crowd.
(Aww little Prim 😛 😉 <:)
Hey look that last emoji I did looks like it’s wearing a party hat)Koi Scale noticed that Primrose, as she walked away with Diamond, looked sad to see him whispering with Curzon. “Hey, Primrose, wait a second.”
Primrose and Diamond –
“Huh . . .?” Primrose mewed quietly.
Diamond nudged her sister. “Hey, go on, your friend’s calling you,” Prim looked at her. “Go on, I’ll be fine without you,” Diamond joked and flicked her tail in Primrose’s face.
Primrose smiled and walked back. “Yes? – Oh, I’m fine, honestly, I just . . .” Now what would he think of her? Was she a crybaby who got whatever she want from looking sad?
(PRIM STOP DOUBTING URSELF!)
Here’s my attempt at being active:
Sun existed.
Moon existed.
Shadow existed.
Marble looked out at the sun. It was heading toward the horizon and it’s glow was comforting. Thistle ‘s head out appeared next to her and sniffed.
“It smells like dung out here!” Thistle announced.
Marble frowned. “Shut up, Thistle. Wait-” Marble took a deep whiff of the air. “It smells like other cats…”
Thistle shrugged. “I’m going back inside the den.”
(((aahh my apprentice I’m glad you’re roleplaying!! But I must teach you (with all my experience) that in most roleplays you shouldn’t control other people’s characters (see previous page with shadow and windswept) -this has been a lesson from rainie your mentor 😉 )))
I’m controlling both of these character. Thistle and Marble are both mine.
“Let us return to camp!” called out Horizon.
Doveflight addressed the leader once more. “Horizon, we have two injured warriors behind those bushes. Will it be okay if we are put into your hospitality before we continue our journey? We, uh, the rest of us will hunt for them and support the group in place of them.”
“That is a decision that the entire group must make. We will take you and your injured to our camp, and our cats will decide.”
—-that was important guys the cats are going back to camp——-
Prim –
Primrose overheard the word ‘hospitality’ and bounded forward after telling Koi Scale to wait a second. “If you need your warriors healed, I’ll help.” She looked up at Horizon pleadingly. “Please!”
(Gah this is a mess. Horizon is the group cat’s leader)
Horizon nodded. “Yes, that’s a good idea, Primrose is good at healing. Tansyfur, would you mind if Primrose help your injuries?”
Tansyfur shook her head. “Not at all. None of us are great at healing, and we’d appreciate it.”
Sojourn –
“I’m not a use here, so I’ll just go back to camp. I can heal, but Prim is better, I’m a bit worthless to be honest.”
“You aren’t worthless,” Ice Shadow protested, surprising herself by speaking.
SHip, ship ship, ship ship !
Sojourn –
“Think what you like, and I’ll think what I like. I’m going hunting”
Sojourn padded off a bit embarrassed by Ice Shadow. Maybe he could find some prey for the group, hopefully they wouldn’t replace him with the new cats
Horizon noticed Sojourn heading off to hunt. “That’s a good idea, Ice Shadow, could you follow him? You two find some more prey for our visitors.” He nodded to Tansyfur. “Not that you can’t hunt, of course, we just want you to get used to some of this first, and tend to some of those scratches.”
Primrose –
Prim gathered all of the herbs that she needed to heal the Clan cats.
