Alright, so the first Warriors book I read was Thunder Rising. I really, really liked Turtle Tail, and I loved her kind, cheerful personality.
Then I went back and read The Sun Trail. Again, I liked her, but she still wasn’t my favorite Warrior cat.
Finally, I read The First Battle. I admired Turtle Tail’s courage to save her kits from Tom.
And then… she died.
I think I might have already been thinking that Turtle Tail was my favorite, but her death was pretty much the moment where I was like, yep, she’s definitely my favorite.
