  • Heather is one of my ocs who has a lot of character development. She is very caring and nervous, and often fusses over her friends. She doesn’t want her loved ones making sacrifices and wants them to be safe and comfortable. Despite how soft and gentle she is, she can be strict when telling other chickens to stay safe.

When Fireblaze decides to become president of the club, Heather strongly disapproves and tries to talk her out of it because she thinks it’ll be too much work. Long after Fire already gets the position, Heather reluctantly accepts that it was for the best.

Heather also washes dishes to relieve stress.

    • ooh, nice! Sort of remind’s me of my oc Simon, who is very protective of his friends and will do anything to keep them safe. which occasionally has the opposite effect 😛

  • Tried drawing Ferris again 😛 human anatomy will be the death of me with his short hair this time. In the first book, he has longer hair he usually wears in a ponytail, but sadly it becomes a casualty of war during book 2 (if it ever exists) when a Monster Hunter grabs it and Simon chops it off to prevent Ferris from losing more than just his treasured hair 😛

ALSO my brother Fluffpaw is irritating me because his mental image of Ferris is pale, blond hair, and blue eyes, none of which is accurate >:\

      • He’s definitely one of my favorites as well :] he and Simon were the first two I came up with, so I’m especially attached to them.

  • (shhhh don’t tell my homework I’m here)

It’s a bit to early for me to start getting stoked up for book 2, given that I haven’t finished the first draft of book 1 yet, and yet here I am finalizing details for Ferris’ family 😛 the last thing my story needs is more side characters, but the second book reveals a lot of Ferris’ back story, meaning: I get to make more Ventus!! 😛

Nothing like a bunch of fowl its funny…because they have wings….im so original tempered relatives to put a damper on Fer’s mood. Book 2 is rough for him :'[

I’ll post them later when I’m finished :]

    • (Psst, homework, she went that way! *Points in a random direction*)

I’ve been thinking about my second book, too, even though I haven’t even started the first, so- definitely early! 😛 My second book is about how the main characters (who are teenagers in my first book) are already adults, and Fireblaze is running for president.

Making characters is super fun and my favorite part of writing! 😀 I’ve gotten into the habit of making one new character every day lately even though I already have too many. 😛

My character Victoria would be able to relate to Ferris. Let’s just say her family members are not exactly very nice… 😛 It even made Fireblaze distrust Victoria at first, until she realized that her relatives do not define her.

      • Sage distrusts Ferris at first, but that’s just Sage being Sage. He kinda doesn’t tell the twins anything about his family (Simon’s always known) until the second book.

  • My confident character Taylor!

I just love this girl’s personality and I’m looking forward to including her in my writing more. Taylor is bold, sassy and not fazed by anything. She often likes showing off how unbothered she is by things like her friends’ teasing. She is also caring, loyal, and extremely smart.

  • My friend ships Sage with both Simon and Ferris 😐 she asked me which one was going to be the love interest…..the answer is no 😛 they’re all just buddies.
(Although ferris & basil will probably be a couple)

  • I literally just realized I create my ocs for internal comical relief which explains why some are straight-up jerks, some are seemingly friendly but extremely passive aggressive, and some of them are usually true/lawful neutral but with a fair amount of snark, but literally none of them are genuinely kind.

okay, subsequent to saying this i’m swear im going to ACTUALLY write their personality descriptions and find out that there’s actually more genuinely kind OCs than I expected 😛

  • I noticed I barely have any romantic relationships between my ocs so far. 😛 (I do have Fire and Risky, though) I do, however, have a lot of strong bonds between them that aren’t romantic (Like how Fire has strong platonic love for Sandy). This is probably because I feel that we don’t see enough of that in writing. People tend to focus on romantic relationships more, but I think friendships can also be great fun to write and develop. So, yeah, I love writing friendships. 😛

    • Yess friendship > romance. Sage is going to be single, Simon will probably stay single, and Ferris and Basil are a couple but they’re relationships with Simon and Sage are just as important if not more important than how they feel about each other.

    • welll I do have a couple of ocs be mates but then they are really rushed and underdeveloped because my ocs are mates with this other minor character just so they can have children, with some also being relevant 😛

But with my Gen 3 ocs they ain’t havin’ any romantic relationships because 1. their siblings. this isn’t alabama. and 2. the oldest out of all of them is 13. and 3. Their sexualities aren’t confirmed yet.

  • I wish I could draw humans better 😛 I just had an idea for a cute little comic about Sage & Ferris, but alas I’d never be able to pull it off :'[

Essentially, Ferris is painting, and Sage walks into his room. He’s too immersed in his work to notice her, so for a moment she just stands next to him and watches him paint. At some point, his eyes dart over to her, and he smiles, but doesn’t saw anything. Then, he reaches over with his paint brush without looking away from his canvas and casually just paints a big stripe on her face 😛 for a moment, she looks shocked and somewhat offended, and Ferris doubles over laughing, before Sage takes a jar of paint and dumps the entire thing over his head.

  • where do you think your ocs belong on the alignment chart?
Okay, going in the order of the order, I shall now list the moons’ hybridsona’s alignments.

Wingmoon is true neutral, because she is the original kid (no one cares if four other doggos were older than her, she’s still the original kid)

Rain is chaotic evil, but I’m not sure if she’s evil or rage. Probably both. But she’s CE because she killed Icili a bunch of times in IDK Server, counted how many times she killed Icili, and also works with Fire, but she might be planning to backstab her.

Icili is lawful evil. It’s strange because I was actually planning to make her good 😛 but she ended up showing signs of planning to dominate IDK server. But she’s not chaotic because she still respects others (except Rain), but she is evil because she’s vaguely forcing Ringfox, an adult, to ringfox her so she can be allies with her and assist in her plan to dominate the entire server, but Ringfox ain’t doing that because she’s not her child, and also she’s full on toxic to Rain. (also, Icili is 9.5) But off of the server Icili is fairly good.

Thunder is….I’m not sure. Probably one of the neutrals, but he’s definitely not good. He’s an arrogant teenager, and the only teenager in his generation, because the rest are kids or preteens.

Rainbow is also true neutral because she almost never picks sides. Every time her siblings argue she just casually flies away very quickly.

Thanosfox (yes, that is one of my ocs’ hybridsona) is chaotic neutral. He doesn’t really have a side but he’s definitely not lawful or neutral. (why is it that the older kids get less attention?)

Iciclefox is somewhere around chaotic good and neutral good, but not LG because she’s S N A R K Y and sometimes disrespectful but overall good. Except maybe CG because she literally killed Lightdarkfox because he picked up ONE out of her 293204924290 fish but then gave back all of his items except that ONE FISH.

Deathstarfox (yes, another one of my ocs’ hybridsonas) is also chaotic neutral. First of all, she reads the dictionary and summons all the demons in existence simply by reading everything in the “a” section. Next, she can’t pronounce her mom’s real name without summoning yet another demon. Next, she just fires a lazer at everything. And not those weak repelling lazers, the lazers that can actually kill (fortunately she only does this on IDK Server).

Lightdarkfox is neutral evil, because I say so. But he’s untrustworthy and stuck-up. That’s what I have to say about him.

Adnarim is I don’t know. She doesn’t have a clear morality alignment.

@hahadefinitelynotsneaking is chaotic chaos. Not even chaotic good, neutral, or evil. Just chaotic chaos.

Flacon’s Sidekick is neutral/chaotic good because he’s loyal to Flacon and Wingmoon and he never betrayed Wingmoon before, but I think he ditched Flacon at some point in time because something was just off. He and Flacon also argue more than a couple of times.

    So, to wrap up:
Lawful Good – No one, because I don’t create enough genuinely kind characters
Neutral Good – Iciclefox and Flacon’s Sidekick
Chaotic Good – Also Iciclefox and Flacon’s Sidekick
    Lawful Neutral – Probably Thunder
    True Neutral – Wingmoon
Chaotic Neutral – Thanosfox and Deathstarfox
    Lawful Evil – Icili
    Neutral Evil – Lightdarkfox
    Chaotic Evil – Rain

  • Okey, those new ocs I mentioned. All of them are Ventus. These are all people that Ferris has been running away from, and a few who he’s left behind in his attempt to shake himself free of the toxic culture of the royal ventus.

Essentially, in ventus culture, magic + looks=status. They’ve set up a system that allows them to pair for better magic production. Having a child with someone who isn’t a good genetic match is highly scorned, although there’s nothing against marrying someone who isn’t a match. Most families have two parts, like a divorce might work in human culture except the biological parents were never together in most cases.
Ferris, despite having two very magical parents, has basically no magic. As the queen’s nephew, this makes him the greatest topic of gossip. There are widely spread rumors that he isn’t his father’s biological child, which the royal family encourages because they’d rather his mother be ridiculed than to have the quality of their genes be questioned.

    Lyelain Griffin:
Appearance: Tall, sturdily built, intimidating woman. Has flawless creamy skin, jet black hair, and the striking bright green eyes that the Griffins are well known for. Her wings are bright gold.
Lyelain is the Queen of the Griffins, and Ferris’ aunt. She is a successful if ruthless leader, and is not afraid of anything. She acknowledges at one point to Ferris that the ventus hierarchy system is messed up, but has no plan to change it because having more magic makes the ventus more powerful. Offers Ferris a position as a Ventus representative for the guild to get him out of the way, he accepts immediately.

    Zephyr Griffin:
Appearance: Pale skin, red head, griffin green eyes, pale gold wings
The heir to throne, and Ferris’ cousin. A spoiled jerk, but not as terrible to Ferris as most people are. He’s annoying and rude to Ferris, but he doesn’t pretend to be kind or that he cares like most of the royal ventus do.

    Orpheus Griffin:
Appearance: has a narrower frame than most ventus, pale skin, ash brown hair, trademark bright green Griffin eyes, copper and gold wings.
Orpheus is Ferris’ father, once regarded as the pinnacle of Ventus achievement and now struggling to save his reputation from his son’s lack of magic. Is willing to throw his co-parent and son under the bus, tries to sculpt Ferris into a submissive prince to reduce the attention drawn to himself and accidentally does the opposite. Terrible dad, and I hate him 😛 he will die, even if I have to randomly get him struck by lightning to make it happen.

    Stellis Griffin:
Appearance: Pale skin, curly auburn hair, brown eyes, dark grey wings
Stellis is Orpheus’ wife and Ferris’ step mother. She pities Ferris, but not enough to help him. Is kind to him by ventus standards, meaning she isn’t cruel to him, merely indifferent. Occasionally awkwardly extends a kind gesture, but will side with her husband and inlaws instantly when conflict arises.

    Magna Griffin:
Appearance: Pale skin, curly black hair, brown eyes, grey wings
Ferris’ young step sibling (child of stellis and a genetic match), confused why everyone is cruel to Ferris, one of Ferris’ favorite people but slowly being pulled in the manipulative and cruel game of hierarchy. Ferris suspects she will end up just like his father with enough time. She resents Ferris for leaving.

    Dahlia Ortua:
Appearance: light brown skin, long jet black hair, amber-brown eyes, and silvery white wings
Ferris’ mother. Born to a lower class family, then inducted into the upper class when it was discovered she had a high level of magic. For years has struggle to please the royalty and leave her lowly roots behind, but when she and Ferris are essentially disowned, she embraces the disgust thrown her way. She has since moved out of the gentry living willingly, and talks bad about the royal family at any chance she can get. Her reputation is ruined, but she’s not going down alone. Ferris and her often argue because unlike her, Ferris has to be around his royal side of the family, and initially wishes she would lay low a little more. Is angry with Ferris for leaving, accuses him of trying to run from his problems.

    Carson Ortua:
Appearance: Pale skin, wavy dark brown hair, pale grey eyes, chestnut brown wings with white dapples
Dahlia’s fiance. Rumored to be Ferris’ true father, middle class worker. He and Dahlia have been in love for a while, but as she grew more and more sucked into the gentry culture he cut off their relationship because he felt she was beginning to see him as a lowly worker like the rest of them and fed up with her trying to get him to act more proper. After she rejects/is rejected by the royalty, they get back together. Supports her stand against the royal family, more of a crazy uncle than a father figure to Ferris. Ferris sometimes feels angry at him for being his rumored father.
