Mintpool was wandering around the camp, not knowing what to do. She had just been made a warrior one sunrise ago and she hadn’t been on any patrols. Everyone always said that she was too defensive whenever the other warriors teased her, but she didn’t care, she was who she was, she didn’t need to change! As she was pacing, she saw Brightstar walk up behind her.
“Mintpool, I’ve noticed that you’ve been… isolated lately, how would you like an apprentice?”
Brightstar had thought long and hard about this, and she thought she should give Mintpool an apprentice. The warrior deserved it. There was only one kit in camp currently, Willowkit (created right now) who had been found just inside the borders a few moons ago. Willowkit was about 6 moons old now. “Mintpool” Brightstar mewed, “I think you should be Willowkit’s mentor.”
Lillypaw studied the herbs in front of her, her brow furrowed.
“Let me make sure I’ve got this straight,” she muttered to herself before turning to her mentor, Goldenbee. “Borage for fever, goldenrod to prevent infections, marigold if they have an infection, dock for sore paws and yarrow to make them sick?”
moonfrost was happy she was a warrior now and could go on patrols and hunting when ever she wanted but wished she had an apprentice mintpool had been given willowpaw and you couldn’t help but wish for your on but there were no more kits for you to mentor.
Poppysky walked out of the warriors’ den and stretched,yawning. She turned to face Moonfrost,”Would you like to go on a hunting patrol? The fresh-kill pile is a little low.”
